We were walking the Clarendon Way, which passes right in front of Patsy’s place - so it was a perfect place for us to stop and rest before the second half of our walk. The room was spacious with a lovely little balcony. A variety of breakfast bits were available in the room and a couple of cold ones in the fridge which was much appreciated after 17 miles on foot! The bed was super soft, like a feathery cloud. Patsy and her family were really friendly and welcoming - would totally recommend!

Julian and Penelope were incredibly warm, hospitable and welcoming as hosts. Despite the difficulties I faced getting over to the Cotswolds (No fault of theirs I must add), they were always accommodating, responsive and understanding of my situation. To top things off, Penelope cooked me a wonderful cooked breakfast first thing in the morning before I headed back to London. I really cannot recommend them enough.

Liz and Max were really helpful and the room was just what I was expecting. Clean room and bathroom. Great value, will definitely stay again.

This is the best of old fashioned BnBs, in a real person's real home. One host, one guest, friendly discussion over a civilised breakfast. Quiet street just off a big park, with a bus route on the other side of the park. Less than 30 minutes' walk to the station. So far, so good. AND THEN! An idyllic little river at the bottom of the garden (not the Thames); Andrea kindly lent me her kayak. I paddled a little way upstream, and then, oops, swam back. The brook is perfect for both activities, depending on your skill. Andrea hosed me down without a fuss. I couldn't ask for a better host.

Marian And Terry are wonderful friendly hosts , keeping their home spotless but homely and front door parking Continental Breakfast was a great touch , as was the tea/coffee in my room . Easy 15 minutes walk to Seafront and pier down through the gardens or less than 20 minutes walk the town centre with lots of shops . 2 mile walk into Bournemouth from Boscombe but there was regular buses that I could see . A very lovely weekend Away for me time. Would recommend them to anyone just needing a few nights break 😊

This was a great stay for us as a last minute booking for one night. Great beds. Everyone slept well. Shower in every room was convenient. Cooked breakfast was great! Helen also went the extra mile providing an iron and printing something off for me. Highly recommended!!

Having stayed over New Year the location and property were both lovely. Sarah and David were always responsive, helpful and very accommodating whilst at the same time being unobtrusive. We had some wonderful walks which were helped by all the information provided within the cottage. I would highly recommend and am so pleased we chose this location and property to start 2025. Mel was always friendly and helpful. I really appreciate that. The house was cozy with pretty decorations, there were lots of encouraging positive "pictures" about life. I dare say a luxurious shower. It was also very nice that I was offered cereal with milk for breakfast. I took advantage of that and it was delicious. I am grateful for this accommodation!

Jeannette’s place is great. Absolutely ideal if you’re working at the film studios. The river is on your doorstep and lots of great pubs 5 mins walk. Your host is fantastic and so helpful

Lyfield Barn is a gem of a spot in Hampshire. It is immaculately decorated, super clean and Juliet is a wonderful host. She shared recommendations for food and things to do. We will definitely stay again.

What a great place to stay! Had everything you could need and the location was perfect. Walking distance to Marlow and excellent links to M4/40. All in all it was a pleasure to stay here. Sarah was extremely efficient and helpful which made it even more perfect! Thank you Sarah for everything

We had a lovely few days at the apartment. Pam was so lovely. Apartment very clean, lots of information on walks. Welcome pack with wine and treats for our dogs very much appreciated. Lovely clean and comfortable apartment right by the sea and a pleasant 40 minute walk to the historic dockyard. The apartment was spotless and very comfortable for a short stay for two people, with plenty of pubs and places to eat to choose from in the nearby area, we would definitely stay there again!

We loved our stay. James was wonderful, helped us find a pub still serving food when we arrived late from the airport. Much appreciated the well stocked kitchen. Easy walk into Henley. Would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely stay at Diana’s and would definitely stay again. Nothing was too much trouble, Hythe village is walkable and the apartment was lovely - extremely well appointed and even better than the photos.

We traveled from the U.S. and visited Portsmouth for two days before beginning a group tour of the British Isles. Since we would be staying in hotels for the tour, we thought a local AirBnb would be nice. John and Wendy’s place was a perfect fit, just a stone’s throw from the waterfront and colorful South Parade Pier, and a short bus ride to the Portsmouth Historic Dockyards, our primary destination. John stayed in touch beforehand to make sure we didn’t get lost, and once we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised to find fresh bread, eggs, milk and lemon cake waiting for us. A warm welcome for weary travelers!

We booked to stay with Lesley as we had a booking at the Bombay Sapphire Distillery, which is a short walk from the house. The room was spotless and had lots of nice touches such as a selection of tea bags, shortbread biscuits aswell as shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom Lesley made us a lovely continental breakfast with beautiful warm pastries and was a fantastic host. Communication was also great beforehand. There are lovely walks in the surrounding countryside and a great pub in the village. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to others Thank you again Lesley!

I recently stayed 4 nights at John's place and was made to feel very welcome. The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable and John was up at 7.00am to cook me a full English breakfast. A very pleasant no hassle stay.

Just wanted to say how amazing Sophie has been from start to finish. We booked this one year in advance and Sophie was always on hand with any questions. Probably one of the best service we had ever. The place Sophie has is beautiful. The photos do not do this place justice. We thank you for such an amazing safe space to visit.

Sue was very welcoming and helpful. The garden room is a lovely spacious, tastefully decorated place to stay. There were lovely touches like the breakfast, homemade welcome biscuits and toiletries. The bedding and towels were of a great quality. Centrally located for the castle, walks and restaurants. Would highly recommend.
