Bastimentos Island : locations de vacances avec kayak

Our first trip to Bocas and this home was the perfect place for us! Absolutely beautiful home nestled up high in the trees, surrounded by spectacular views. We woke up to the sounds of birds and the island waking up with us. The location in Bocas was ideal for getting around the island. The home is spacious, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen was perfect for making family meals and had everything we needed. The beds were so comfortable, the rooms are huge and the bathrooms were spacious and clean. The home exceeded our expectations. The host was responsive and helpful with recommendations. This home is perfect for families looking to explore Bocas and be immersed in the beauty of the jungle and islands.

Fuimos dos familias con niños. El lugar es súper retirado de todo a 1 hora del pueblo en bote. Deben llevar todo lo que vayan a comer TODO. Es hermoso si buscan desconectarse del ruido de la ciudad. Es exactamente como en las fotos, el mar espectacular y el ruido de la selva que está justo atrás es relajante. Hay muchos mosquitos así que lleven off. El lugar es mágico y super recomendado. Un chico llamado Irving nos ayudó mucho con lo que necesitáramos Fogata, agua de coco. Mi única observación es la poca iluminación, de noche si regresan en bote no hay manera alguna de ver dónde está la Casa, En general la Casa necesita mas iluminación adentro, en el muelle y afuera de la Casa. La cocina necesita un upgrade, lleve todo para cocinar pero puse a mi amiga porque yo soy muy asqueante y no puedo cocinar donde me dé asco algo. La cocina es la única parte NO linda de la Casa, No da una sensación de aseo. Por todo lo demás excelente. Pasamos 4 días de ensueño en este lugar y sus

The location is incredible with great restaurants walking distance from the house. The view from the porch makes it really hard to leave. The sound of the ocean waves makes this place so incredibly peaceful!

Wonderful family vacation spot with numerous beautiful beaches accessible by kayak or walking . Easy to arrange tours with local captain /caretaker ( Shambu & Villemir) who knew the best spots and would check on us daily . Home is spectacular and has everything needed . Can’t wait to visit again !

The house is lovely but I think it’s worth noting that it’s very remote meaning that it’s literally on the water and you need a water taxi to get to the main island ($25 each way). My advice is to have food and drinks with you as well as toiletries such as body wash, shampoo, conditioner etc because it’s not provided and since the house is on the water you can’t easily leave. If you are looking for privacy this is definitely the place to be.

I cannot begin to describe how incredible this property and location are!! We were so very sad to leave and wished we booked it for longer than 5 days. You are surrounded by nature, a stunning private beach all to yourself, fantastic views from upstairs and a general sense of calmness from the minute you arrive! Vanessa and Jack were so easy to communicate with, quick to respond and David was the absolute BEST HOST while we’re there! Full of suggestions, so fast to respond and very respectful of our privacy. He regularly checked in via text to see if we needed anything from town, who does that??? This was truly an unforgettable stay and we cannot wait to go back, for longer next time!! This airbnb has been one of the best airbnb's we've ever stayed in. First of all, the location is pretty great, not too far from town but also far enough to feel like you are in the middle of the jungle. Less than 2 minutes from the ocean as well. We saw so many monkeys from the balcony during our stay, it was so cool! Secondly, its extremely well equipped. We had all sorts of kitchen appliances, and utensils we never even knew we needed. We had tons of beach towels, snorkel gear, big TVs, desk setting, smart toilet, reclining beds, great wifi. Lastly the hosts were extremely communicative, and super helpful with everything. I would definitely stay here again.

Sin lugar a dudas es un verdadero paraíso, quería quedarme a vivir ahí. Steve una persona sumamente accesible y su perrita Niña Piña un amor. Para quien quiera estar cerca del Pueblo pero en un lugar tranquilo para descansar por la noche, les recomiendo al 100% el alojamiento de Steve. Las playas son hermosas y la vista de los atardeceres desde el Muelle, un verdadero espectáculo.

I’ve stayed in at least 49 Air Bnbs, and Denis’ place is number 1! It was the perfect place for me and my husband to spend a blissful week. Highlights: Geraldine’s cooking was over-the- top delicious! We loved them all, breakfast, lunch and dinners. The taste and presentation was world class. The cocktails were unique and yummy. We especially loved the peanut punch. Her meals were so nutritious that we left healthier and happier. The food was locally sourced or caught by Denis Denis’ Dolphin Bay tour was great and we loved the snorkeling. We saw a giant sting ray! We enjoyed the variety of birds around the eco lodge. We also took a tour to the Nöbä indigenous cacao plantation. Very interesting and a wonderful lunch. And we also did the dolphin and sloth tour and had great sightings of both. So much to do, and also just a great place to stay and relax. On our last day we kayaked and snorkeled from the eco lodge. Before we left they gave great advice on Panama City.

Helena is a great hostess that welcomed us directly on the private dock (amazing!) The house is nested in the jungle with a great view over the water! If you want privacy, you chose the right place! Make sure you bought some groceries in Bocas Town before heading to the house; you have a great kitchen to cook for yourself. Helena was really flexible for the check-in and check-out and gave us great advices on what to see and do in the surroundings! We loved our stay there ❤️

Kay & Mike’s “Casita on the Knoll” is a small, rustic casita for those looking to escape the town setting and get more into nature. As an off-grid property, it is rustic and simple…but the visiting parrots, giant trees, and walkways through the mangroves make it lovely and almost magical. If you are ready to rough it a little and don’t mind basic (but comfortable) accommodations, then this property is a great choice. Kay and Mike are wonderful hosts!
