The host was super friendly and helpful. The home was easy to get into and lots of privacy. Great neighborhood on a lovely street in a welcoming town. Lots of history to check out. The town folk are so welcoming! Great places to eat! Will be coming soon!

This was a perfect getaway for me and my teens. They interacted with each other, played in the game room and loved the swim/spa. Short of a miracle to have them not isolating and on electronics.

Very peaceful, quiet escape! The bungalow was clean, bigger than the photos and had everything we needed. Loved the full kitchen, hot/cold water dispenser, nature, and the sweet personal touches throughout the home. Really enjoyed the homemade toffee upon arrival. Was there for COTA and the track was only about a 20-25 minute drive. We had bad weather on our visit but still enjoyed the quiet. We had an unexpected bungalow problem that need repaired immediately and the owner took care of it well and quickly. Adorable dogs occasionally came by to say hello. Communication with Shelley is excellent. Just know this rental is very rural so take what you need. We loved it all and highly recommend it!!

We loved our stay at Mimi and Didi’s Resort. The backyard was exactly what we wanted for our stay. Cynthia was also kind enough to let our plant enthusiast take one of her plants right out of her flowerbed!! We will definitely book again if we go back to the area!

The Hilltop Retreat was just as imagined and needed. The location was ideal for getting away and enjoying family time. The amenities on property made it a place for everyone to enjoy. The views were amazing from all patio's and decks. The game room was very entertaining with many games and arcades to choose from. The kids loved the variety. It was a crisp cool during our stay so we were not able to utilize the pool area but during the summer i am sure it seals the deal on entertainment for the family. The home was spacious and clean with great views from all directions. The bedding and linen was nicely appointed and plenty of flatware and plates to accommodate your needs. When it comes to response, our hosts, Elizabeth and Tim, were very quick and responsive to our needs and did a great job of making ready the property for our stay. The Hilltop retreat is definitely the property for me when staying in the Bastrop , central Texas area and looking forward to coming back in the future!

Enjoyed the stay. It was so relaxing and a perfect getaway. Enjoyed the hot tub and lounging outside on the deck. The host, Jeff, was quick to respond and very helpful when needed. Definitely would stay again.

This space was exactly what I was looking for, a peaceful retreat in the woods. I had a great home base for adventures and got so much reading done on the comfy deck. Celia was very responsive and s delight to meet. I can't wait to visit again!

This is our 3rd time renting and we plan to be back every year! They are super thoughtful and responsive hosts. This house has everything you need. We like to cook and the kitchen has everything you need! The back yard is gorgeous and fenced in for pur dog. The doggie doors were a great added touch! They outdoor furniture is comfortable and they fans were nice for warm days. The screened porch was nice for evenings being it was June bug season! During the day the front porch was nice to and have a fan as well! We have rented twice a year for the last five years and this house and these hosts are by far the best!

Beautiful place! No need to worry about forgetting anything because the house had everything you could possibly need! Reid was very responsive, answered all our questions and took care of any issues we had. My kids loved the pool, hot tub, fishing and kayaking! We had a great time and will definitely be back!
