We had a great family stay at Huccaby Cottage. The location was perfect for days out and the added bonus of the indoor pool and play facilities was excellent! The cottage is great for little ones with everything you might need, stair gates, travel cots, high chair etc. The welcome hamper was very much appreciated after our journey on the motorway was very slow, the biscuits went down a treat! It was our first visit but certainly not our last, we’re already looking to book next year! Thank you for a fab weekend. X

I don’t think the pictures did this place justice- it was absolutely beautiful and homey and had everything we needed, including the comfiest bedding I’ve ever slept in. We were given great recommendations and the communication was quick, friendly and helpful. We did have a few woodlouse and even a beetle in the house but we were warned and there’s repellants so there wasn’t much more that the host could’ve done. The area was so peaceful and it was a perfect break from normal life. Wish we could’ve stayed for longer!

This was the second time we have stayed and this time was as good as the first. We were met on arrival as before by Andy who is very hospitable. The accommodation was perfect for the two of us and our boxer dog. We will definitely be staying again in the future.

We had a fantastic week, the house was perfect for our family, the rooms were huge and the location and views were stunning. There's so many lovely places to visit within a short drive. I couldn't recommend the house and hosts highly enough.

Sue and David’s place is absolutely fabulous. A great spot and a wonderful place to stay after long days out. We received a very warm and friendly welcome and chatted with them both over the course of our stay. Wonderful people, wonderful Airbnb. Thank you. We’ll be back :-)

We had a fantastic stay at Sharon’s lovely house. It was great staying in Kingswear, across the estuary from its busier neighbour Dartmouth and with the ferry between the two running regularly until almost 11pm, we felt we had the best of both worlds. We ate out in Dartmouth & Brixham, had some beautiful coastal walks, visited the friendly pubs in Kingswear and just enjoyed time relaxing in the comfortable house and admiring the wonderful views. It’s rare to find a place with 3 double beds and we really appreciated that. The beds themselves were comfy with lovely crisp bedlinen. A great holiday and a place I’d love to return to.

A lovely little cottage in Brixham, a mile or so from the beautiful port. Cosy place with everything we needed for a couple of nights. Neighbours windows are facing so not very private, but we enjoyed it.

This is easily one of the best Airbnb’s I have ever stayed in. From the communications, to the home itself, it was amazing. The home is spacious, with large rooms, including the bedrooms and bathroom, it had absolutely everything in it you would have in Your own home. A lovely garden, although we were there in March so sitting outside was not an option You really couldn’t ask for any better holiday home, I would definitely book again next time I’m down I. Plymouth 5 stars all the way

We stayed for a long weekend and really enjoyed the house. My only feedback would be to leave instructions for using the hob! Otherwise, a perfect stay in a great airbnb. Thanks for having us

Well located for centre of town and also the hospitals. A really lovely comfortable well equipped and stylish apartment. Anna Lisa was very responsive to any queries responding straight away which was great .

I have had the opportunity to stay at this location a few times. Jose is an outstanding host, attentive to any issue you might have and willing to go the extra mile to ensure "your" stay is as comfortable as possible. I had an issue with getting the TV working. Not only did Jose respond timely to my correspondence, he actually took time to come personally to sort out the issue. Location is fantastic. Plenty of restaurants within the town to choose from. The premises was clean and cosy. Home away from home. I would recommend this location and will continue to use, providing available is available !

This is a little gem, very cute even if you have to bend to get in 😂 The thoughtful little touches made this exceptional. Kerrie had great recommendations for eating out, and places to go. We didn't leave Cawsand and Kingsand once we arrived as we just wanted to unwind sans kids. The beach is great to explore and fascinating geological features with remnants of old Pilchard palaces along it. We could hear the sea at night when the tide was high which was fabulous. The car park is reasonably priced for a short stay. I'd return in a heartbeat to this little place. The only thing we struggled with was getting a fire going - some driftwood sorted that the second night. And working the hob- coming from a gas hob to induction and one that had a lock feature stumped us a bit, but we eventually got there. Thankyou for a wonderfully relaxing stay, sadly now back to reality and our 2 kids ...ah well...nevermind.

Excellent accommodation, exactly as described and finished to a high specification. There is a garage to park in at the property but access is tight 6feet width! You would certainly struggle with a large car, we had a VW Golf and it was still quite tight. There is some free on street parking but this is rarely available. The property is a perfect location with a few minutes walk to the town, market and the sea front. Therefore there are several good restaurants, cafes, etc within easy reach. There are 26 steps from the street up to the door of the property and they are quite irregular. There are also steps between some rooms inside the property (2 flights of 3 steps and one single step down into the bedroom. Needs considerationvfor anyone with mobility problems. So overall, if you don’t mind the steps and a tight squeeze for your car (or no means of driving up to the property if you have a large car) then this is an excellent property to stay in. Highly recommended.

Linda really makes the effort to make sure you have everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The apartment is homely, and the view from the balcony is lovely. A really peaceful place, I'd definitely recommend it.

Mary was very welcoming to us on our arrival. The flat itself is very comfortable and right next to the shops / cafes etc in Dawlish. Very well equipped with everything you need for a lovely stay. We were on a family visit, but if you are looking for a holiday Dawlish is ideal and relatively unspoilt compared to other coastal towns. Lots of shops to explore, and of course the famous Gay's Creamery is here too (an absolute must-visit!)

Loved the house, we stayed for Christmas it was perfect for our needs. The host had put up a beautiful Christmas tree for us. It was super Christmassy and a short walk into town for the lights and a few drinks in the pub. The house was warm, clean and the host was welcoming - we were so happy with everything! We had a perfect family Christmas all together with lots of space. The house is decorated querky and interesting - we loved it.

Richard's place is beautiful and the photos don't do it justice. The house is tastefully decorated, very roomy and has everything you need. It's in a picturesque location; sundowners in the garden watching the sunset over the Exe was particularly memorable and Topsham has loads of great places to eat and cool shops. Richard was a great host who communicated in a clear, friendly and timely manner.

We had a wonderful stay, the views and surrounding area are stunning. The house had everything we needed for a relaxing short break in the sunshine, wish we could have stayed longer - perhaps next year as would love a return visit! Thanks

This Christmas will go down as one of the best our family has ever had, and this beautiful property played a huge part in that. It’s a very special place—the only problem is that you won’t want to leave at the end! We spent 10 days here with family from Plymouth, Sweden, and France, and the house was perfect. Everyone loved it: the older generation was cozy and comfortable, the teenagers had the freedom to explore town, and we all came together in the evenings for meals and games. The owners went above and beyond to make the house warm, inviting, and festive, with lovely Christmas treats that everyone appreciated. The ground floor has a spacious living room with a lovely log fire, a fully equipped kitchen with an island that opens onto the dining room, and a WC with a hand basin. Upstairs, there are four beautiful bedrooms, a spotless bathroom with a shower and bath, and another WC. Parking is easy right outside. Thanks to Joanna and Mike for creating so many treasured memories!

very nice, clean, bright, and spacious area! dog friendly, which was great for us. Our dog was able to roam around freely and relax in different rooms without strangers as there were so many rooms to spend time I'm away from your bedroom. Anthony was very friendly, very responsive over app, and great with our dog who can be nervous around men. hottub was a great addition. no issues here! depending on the guests who stay with you depends on how loud or quiet the communal area is at night, we had a family playing muical doors at 10pm each night, but was very quiet and peaceful once everyone settled. Good location to travel around Devon! would definitely recommend it!

Very friendly and great communication. Spacious bedrooms that are clean and tidy and are well glazed to minimise traffic noise from the main road. The property is situated near loads of amenities in Plymouth and was easy and quick to get to. The views from the rooms were lovely, tranquil and ever changing with the tide and weather. Just be mindful that to get those views there are loads of steps! There are binoculars in the main bedroom to spot wildlife when the tide is out. There aren’t any bins in the bedrooms or bathroom so had to use my dogs unused poo bags so be prepared. There is a lay-by for locals parking (3 cars) which is straight off the busy main road. I couldn’t park at the back of the property as my SUV was too big to get the right angle to park (as it’s a fairly busy narrow lane) so if you have a small-ish car you’ll be fine. Overall a lovely bungalow to base yourself in Plymouth but just be prepared for the steps and parking.
