We stayed at the beach house for a quick overnight trip and it was perfect for our needs. It was as close to the water as you could get without being in it which was a big bonus because it provided a great view of the sunrise and sunset over the ocean.

We had a great, relaxing stay at Magnolia Cottage during Christmas! Really cute cottage on the water, great views from the indoor/outdoor patio, and great location right next to Magnolia Beach.

This house was more than perfect for our stay , will definitely be booking this house again if comes with everything you need the only down part was the water you definitely need to bring ur own water

Had a great stay at JJ and Laura’s place a couple weeks ago. We often visit Surfside, and JJ/Laura’s place is perfect. W/I close proximity to stores, restaurants, and easy walk to the beach and/or jetty to fish etc. House was clean, comfy beds, fresh towels, and had all the kitchen amenities/cookware of home. Also took advantage of the optional golf cart, which made for a fun way to get to/from the restaurants/and check out the neighborhood. Would recommend JJ/Lauras place to anyone interested in a nice, coastal retreat.

We have stayed at Terry and Katherine’s place before and as always WE ENJOYED!!! The beach front is awesome. The deck is PERFECT for watching boats, people, but for us, it was the sunrises!! The house isn’t cluttered and there’s lots of room in the living area! They allow my fur baby too which was amazing! The master bedroom was large and bed was comfy!! The kitchen had all we needed and overall we enjoyed their place! Definitely recommend to stay here! You just can’t beat the view!

Location is excellent! Right on the beach with options for sun and shade on the deck and private access to the beach was right there! The unit is super cute, comfortable and beach-y vibes. We had a few issues pop up but Cheyenne was very responsive, helpful and friendly. We’d definitely stay there again👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Me and my family took a trip to surfside beach first time out there we went for my birthday weekend and let me just say it was perfect other then water pressure in the master bedroom everything was amazing even tho it rained for two days when we where out there we took some board games and enjoyed playing them in the dining area and the smart tv in the living room where we could watch movies together as a family downstairs which I appreciate a lot especially most place who have tvs in the rooms everyone ends up doing there own thing but this way we all sat together even sat on the balcony and listen to waves crash. Over all me and my family had a blast and would definitely recommend anyone else to stay there Charles amazing host and definitely made us feel at home along with quick response and helped with getting inside as well which I can see why it was tricky at first but over all easy and a really nice place.

Cullen’s place was very welcoming. Access to the beach was very close. The outdoor deck was big and spacious. The location was great and close enough to food marts and restaurants. Quiet neighborhood. We had a great time creating memories with our family. Would definitely come back.

Nice place to camp and start a fire

Anna's place was a great spot for us to unwind after a busy holiday season. The condo was extremely comfortable, ambience wise and furniture wise. We've stayed on the west end of Galveston many times and understand how isolated it is, which is what we love about it. Anna's balcony provides a view of the beach that you don't get from too many places on the island. To address a few things from other reviews. The elevator is spotty (was out for 1 day), but it worked the majority of the time we were there. The amenities such as the restaurant/gift shop are not open year round. These items don't detract from the property at all, but wanted to make those looking aware. We're looking forward to our next visit!

Beautiful house with a great location. If you have a large gathering or maybe a big family, this is the perfect spot. 2 large decks with fantastic views. Right on the water so you can enjoy the views your entire stay, or get some easy fishing or wading in the sandbar at the rear of the house. Every room is a suite, and well appointed. The kitchen/living area is fantastic. Lots of room to cook meals for the family or just enjoy coffee on the kitchen island while looking outside. Hosts provided a supply of beach towels and there are a number of family games to enjoy in the event of bad weather or maybe you just need some inside cool down time. Public beach access is a short walk to the end of the street. The Treasure Island neighborhood is a nice balance of secluded, while still being relatively close to Surfside/Freeport or Galveston if you need some supplies, a bite to eat, or looking for some entertainment. You can't go wrong with this house.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful unit! The house had everything we needed and kept our family entertained during the entire stay! The pool was a family favorite and so was the short walk to the beach! The only major issue was not having water for the first day of our stay, but the host was great with communication throughout.

We very much enjoyed the stay. The house had plenty of room, the beach was outstanding, and we were all able to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The outdoor shower made it so easy to rinse off after walking on the beach! We loved cooking on the deck, listening to the surf all day, and just relaxing. Vira was such a great host. She was very responsive with any questions that I had. The ice machine in the refrigerator did have some white powder substance coming out, so we decided to just nto use the ice. Otherwise, the home was very nice and comfortable. The proximity to the heated pool was excellent. Vira allowed us to get in early at 12pm, which was great so our 1 year old could take a nap. Check in and out instructions were very easy to follow. Weather was slightly chilly for spring break, so the ocean was pretty cold. So staying by the heated pool was so nice. Would definitely recommend staying at Vira's place!

We had a wonderful time at Randy's beach house. It was exactly as described and pictured. Very thoughtfully designed and decorated. It looks like a beach house you would see on HGTV. The views from the living area, kitchen, and both porches are fantastic. As far as location, it was beautiful and remote, which was perfect for unplugging and relaxing. The beach is wide, the sand is soft, and there are sea shells everywhere for the kids to collect. I really enjoyed drives on the beach in the morning or evenings, just make sure you have 4-wheel drive. There are a lot of wetlands in the area, so make sure to bring your insect repellant. All listed amenities were there, as well. Internet worked great. Randy was a great host who was always very friendly responsive, informative, and accommodating. We most certainly plan to come back. It may be more expensive than other options, but this home has the best views & accommodations. You get what you pay for in this case.

We’ve been to Pointe West for 4 years now, this was our first time staying on the Gulf side. The location of the condo was perfect, super easy access to the beach. We visited after Hurricane Beryl so some things weren’t ideal (mosquitoes, porch damage but totally out of their control) but would definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing stay! We got married on the beach and having the beach house so close made things so awesome and convenient. We highly recommend to stay here anytime you come to Surfside. Only issue we had was the lights for the outdoor area shorted out the day of our reception so we weren’t able to have the benefit of that when it got dark but still was a wonderful time!!!

Eric’s house was fabulous. Incredibly relaxing and amazingly serene location. Absolutely the best property I’ve stayed in on the Gulf.

First, I’ll say I was very nervous because I had to cancel several rentals because the pictures did not match the actual place that was described. I felt defeated because it was overwhelming trying to find what was true from what wasn’t. It is difficult because on the side of the consumer we worry as well of seeing one thing and getting another. In this case the pictures were great but the view was 100 times better than what was possible to see from a picture. This place was just as described, I have never been so in love with looking at something as I was here. I spent a full day just sitting and watching the birds and the beautiful water move. It was definitely peaceful and took away a lot of work stress, I work with abused and neglected children and it’s difficult sometimes letting go but this place allowed me to relax and be stress free. thirdly, the hosts made me comfortable and they were so helpful even through my anxiety. They were great hosts I thank you for the experience.

We were 3 family units, coming from northern states, to enjoy some warmth . Texas delivered. Sliánte house was perfect for us! Sitting on the deck was nice as was the very short walk to the water. Our grandkids loved the waves and loved getting ice cream from the ice cream trucks. The house had beach toys and corn hole, full kitchen, 4 baths!

Melissa’s place had everything we needed. It was so nice to sit on the balcony and watch the ocean or relax in the cozy living room and watch a movie. We enjoyed walking down the beach and ate at The Seahorse Grill several times. I recommend their queso and coconut shrimp.

We had an amazing stay! The place has the perfect view of the beach it was absolutely breathtaking to wake up to every morning. It had everything we needed, from plates and towels to a great grill for cooking out and bon fire. The space was super clean and very spacious, which made it even more relaxing and comfortable. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Beautiful space, very nice to hang out with the friends. I saw previous reviews saying the fridge was small, but they must of changed, because it's a full sized fridge with a mini fridge upstairs. Hà was easy to communicate with and helpful. The bbq was charcoal not gas. Rooms were nice, kitchen had plenty of items and a lot of fun random DVDs. The beach is easily accessible, and it was a pleasure to sit on the deck. Nice views

This home was easily one of the best AirBnB's I've stayed at. It was right on the beach, spacious, and stocked with the essentials (plenty of towels, soap, etc). The home was gorgeous and the Britt Family was responsive when I would ping them with questions. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants is looking for a house on a quiet part of the beach. I wouldnt hesitate to return. Thanks to the Britt Family for a magical weekend.
