First of all, Milady is a kindful, lovely and so nice person. She showed us the island by caddy and took us twice to the center. She told us so many interesting stories (and gave us information for our stay on the island) and showed us her nice art gallery. She gave us moskito spray and candles for free, additionally a whole gallone of water.. Even she washed our clothes (for free!). There were towels and shampoo in the room. The place is not in the centre, but the rooms are into kind a jungle, no wifi. The only “negative” point was, that we had to pay an additional fee - Milady called it tax from the government - of about 15% of the whole price. We understand, but its a bit confusing, because we also booked because of the described price. So calculate that in your budget. We highly recommend this place!

Jerri’s guest house was very clean and in a great spot right across the path from Reef House. The beds were very comfortable and bathroom was very nice. The property is a very short walk to a beach with amazing coral reef a short swim from the pier. George was incredibly helpful and also gave us a tour of the mangrove tunnels, which are a quick boat ride from the home. Great place to stay in Roatan!

Meine Bewertung!?! leider muss ich mich kurz fassen, ich habe nur 1000 Zeichen, ich hätte aber viel mehr zu schreiben. Diese Bewertung ist die schwierigste die ich je machen musste. Im regelfall schreibt man, es war alles gut, es war alles schön, es war alles top. Aber bei Joe und Janelle ist es anders. Du bist bei Joe und Janelle kein Gast, du bist auch kein Freund, du bist Familie. Lasst es mich kurz erklären: Es geht schon mit den Casitas los: Ich habe noch nie eine so liebevolle und mit herzblut ausgestattete Airbnb-Unterkunft gehabt. Es ist alles bis ins kleinste Detail so liebevoll eingerichtet und es wird an alles gedacht. Wir hatten eine Alexa, wir hatten schnurloses Ladegerät, wir hatten einen internetfähigen Fernseher, wir hatten alle nötigen Kochutensilien die man benötigt hätte, was aber gar nicht nötig war, weil Janelle uns über die ganze Zeit mit ihren Leckereien verköstigt hat. Wir sind sehr froh, und glücklich, die beiden kennengelernt zu haben. Wir drücken euch❤️

Our stay with Joe and Janelle was absolutely unforgettable—truly the most incredible Airbnb experience we’ve ever had. We visited as a family of four (with two kids, 12 and 14) and left feeling completely recharged and so grateful for the hospitality. Every morning, Joe delivered a delicious homemade breakfast to our casita (and dinner on a few evenings too!), and each meal was out of this world. The food alone is worth the trip, but the warmth and generosity of our hosts made it even more special. We snorkeled, kayaked, lounged in hammocks, and completely unplugged—yes, even our kids! That’s how magical this place is. The casitas are beautifully finished, thoughtfully stocked, and super comfortable. The WiFi was reliable for checking in on work when we needed to, but we mostly stayed offline and just soaked it all in. With Joe’s jokes and stories and Janelle’s cooking—together, they made our stay extraordinary. We can’t wait to come back. These two have truly found their calling.

The most amazing trip with the most amazing hosts! We cannot say enough good things about Joe and Janelle. They made us feel right at home. Treated us like family and made us feel like part of their community. To say they went out their way to make us comfortable is an understatement. The Casita was so cozy, clean and perfect. If you think the pictures look great wait until you see it in person. The breakfast every morning and dinners during our stay blew us away. Each delicious as the next, plus all the bread is home made! They set us up with a fishing trip and exploring the cays across the way. I would recommend their place to anyone and everyone. If you want a real taste of Caribbean life should look like spend sometime at Sunshine Casita with Joe and Janelle

This place is honestly such a gem, and Tibyasa is an excellent host. Since I first made the reservation, he sent a detailed guide with everything I should know, including activities and tips for getting around. Plus the instructions for getting to the property were very clear as well, and he and Oscar were very responsive and went out of their way to help us any time we needed anything. The property itself was so peaceful. It's so quiet and relaxing, the beach is very close by car and with very few people, and you get an amazing view of the stars from here. I was honestly sad to leave because I fell in love with the quiet, natural setting here. There's no a/c (as written in the description) so I was initially a bit hesitant to book here because I thought it would be too hot, but the weather is honestly quite pleasant and it never gets uncomfortably hot in my opinion (and at night it's quite cool). If you don't normally air condition your home, you'll be perfectly happy here.

Ada and Jim were so nice and helpful, we felt like we made new friends in Roatan this week. The rooms and property were amazing!!!! Snorkeling everyday right from your back patio, and last but not least Angel was amazing he made sure wanted for nothing for our whole week! 100% recommend Ada’s Garden for your next vacation.

Nice, relaxing spot in Sandy Bay with beautiful outdoor space and access to other worldly snorkeling! Note this isn't the most pedestrian friendly area of the island, but if you rent a car or are okay with picking up taxis on the main road (which are cheap and what we did) you should do fine. We met about everyone in the neighborhood, lots of friendly snowbirds from Europe and North America. The poolside is excellent and it's great to dip and cool off throughout the day. There's plenty of windows on all sides and a ceiling fan, and we had no reason to use A/C while we were there. The snorkeling is fantastic - we saw eagle rays, green moray eels, parrotfish, lionfish, huge groupers, and just so much variety. We would come back!

Stayed in number C6. Worth the price you pay. Felt like I got my money worth. Way better than the other air-bnb I stayed at in Roatan. I would stay here again for sure. There is one steep part of the road when getting on the road that leads to the air-bnb we only had difficulty leaving. WiFi wasn’t the best. Bed was decent. Shower pressure and temperature was inconsistent sadly. There’s beach towels, sunglasses, everything you need really. Didn’t get the chance to walk to the beach didn’t really see a sign for the trail. It’s very quiet and peaceful here though wished I would have stayed here the whole time. It’s literally so close to all the food.

Amazing location, no need to rent a car. Sompopo is available and tons of restaurants and businesses are walking distance from the Airbnb which is completely equipped with everything we needed during our stay. Would totally recommend and will be looking forward to coming back!

We had a beautiful stay at the casita. Everything as described - we took advantage of the airport/ grocery store transportation which was very convenient. Our casita was spotless and comfortable and the pool was sparkling clean. We definitely enjoyed our stay and hope to return.
