This house was AMAZING!! The perfect quiet location, incredibly clean, and felt very safe. The house was well stocked with all the amenities, had excellent AC and was meticulously maintained, we would absolutely stay again!

The home was in a idyllic setting and comfortable. The views are 5 star and Gladys was a gracious host! We hope to return.

Trying to describe how perfect Villa Azul was will be difficult to put into appropriate words. We stayed for two weeks for our 25th wedding anniversary. We wanted a quiet and peaceful place to stay that was away from the normal “tourist” spots. This little cabin by the ocean definitely fit the bill. We fell asleep to the sound of ocean waves and woke to the beautiful sunrise over the water. The snorkelling right from the dock was spectacular, the best spot we experienced on the island! The accommodations are clean, comfortable and were well equipped for cooking our own meals. Our hosts were OUTSTANDING! Stephanie’s communication with us was always prompt and she was so helpful with tips and suggestions to make our vacation memorable. The owner Pat is a true gem, just a wonderful human who was so concerned for our well being when tropical storm Sara kept us pinned down for 3 days longer than expected. Thank you Pat and Stephanie for a wonderful experience!

Villa Verde was a wonderful base for our multigenerational family of 8. We enjoyed the view, the pier, and it was easy getting around (with our own vehicle) to other places. The wifi was strong, TV big and bright for family movies. We used the two outdoor areas and the grill. The reef is a little far but timing with the tide, and using life jackets made it a wonderful regular place to swim to. Blue Island Divers nearby was great and easy to regularly dive at. We used the Sundancer pool regularly, and the day passes for the Mayan Princess was a great escape and way to access West Bay. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment and we used the grill a few times. In all, can't recommend another place in Roatan and Sandy Bay more!

Super séjour, tout était parfait! Nous avons adoré la maison, c'était très propre à notre arrivé, bien aménager, matelats très comfortable avec tout ce dont nous pouvions avoir de besoin. Nous avons pu faire du snorkel, du kayak et du paddleboard direcement dans la baie en face de la maison, en plus de profiter de la piscine et des superbes couchés du soleil. Seul point négatif, la route est une peu accidentée comme à plusieurs endroits au Roatan. Un VUS est fortement conseillé si vous louez une voiture et voulez visiter l'est de l'ile... Le trajet avec notre sous compact n'était pas toujours facile. Jeff & Karen ont été super acceuillants. Avant notre arrivé ils nous ont envoyé beaucoup d'information utiles sur les environs, mais aussi pour facilité notre arrivé au Roatan!

Stephanie was very accommodating! The pictures do not do the plave justice, it was absolutely beautiful. We loved the setting as we were near the middle of the island so we could easily get to either end within a reasonable time. The lack of crowds, especially on cruise ship days, was wonderful.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The caretaker, Steven was very responsive and helpful. He went out of his way to take us to the grocery, a kayak tour, and arrange for transportation so we could enjoy a nearby resort. The property manager, Liz, was very helpful and gave us good advice on things to do. We were especially pleased with how well the kitchen was set with pots, pans and appliances. The pool was the star of the show and we spent many hours lounging and taking a dip. The house dogs, Molly and Maya greeted us every morning and are very sweet. It is a 30 minute drive from the house to a grocery, so it is important that one take this into consideration, and stock up when coming from the airport. Thank you for sharing your house with us.

I'm always careful about criticizing someone's business. Luckily in this case, I don't have to choose words carefully. In this cases, the air bnb was very high quality. The amenities like air conditioning and pool were in excellent condition and well used by us. While the location required that we hire transportation - the land itself in each location was clean and safe. It was important for us to have access to a washer and dryer and we did. These worked as well. Natalia communicated clearly, was polite and responded promptly to our needs. I would highly recommend the driving company Roatan Transport. Miacol Ponce and his driver Roni were responsive, flexible and respectful. For example when we asked about mass for Sunday, Roni knew where to find an English speaking church service at a church where a lot of Americanos go but then later learned about a Garifuna mass at another church and took us there instead. Thank you soo much for your hospitality. Will definitely be back.

The house is about two kilometers from the beach. Hugo is an excellent host. Beds were very comfortable, everything was clean. This house is suitable for large groups. Grocery store directly across the street. Hugo went above and beyond to meet our needs. He was even present when we arrived. The kitchens were definitely adequate. Check in to the house before going to the grocery store to see what is available for cooking your meals. Kitchen is adequate, depending on what methods of cooking you prefer.

We don't know where to start in singing the praises of this place. The house itself is wonderful. Spacious, well thought out, super comfortable bed, private pool, great outdoor spaces, and cozy furniture. The view was incredible. Sunrise, sunset, all day long the reef was sitting there like a jewel calling out to you. Dalia was sweet, attentive, and very helpful. Her cooking can not be adequately described. Well worth the price and convenience. Matt was a wealth of knowledge and on top of all things related to the house and amenities. We really enjoyed their dedication to making sure we were happy on the grounds. The dock, the close little reef, the kayaks, the far reef, the manicured landscape, all of it was spectacular and made it so you don't have to leave to have an amazing time. We couldn't have picked a better spot to enjoy a week of snorkeling and kayaking.

Wow! Great views with lots to do! We worked with a couple resorts to get 8 dives in four days. It is on the North East which is more chill than the west. The island is doing roadworks on the main road that will make a huge improvement to get to the property. We rented a truck and were glad we did, not for the property, but for access from airport and resorts. The main house is amazing. The kitchen is well appointed with new appliances. Beds are super soft, great air conditioning and the pool was amazing after a day in the animal reserves or diving. We made memories with our family of five, without being crowded.

We had a great time in Roatán and Gary’s Villas were in a great location with access to the West End, West Bay, and day trips to the eastern end of the island. A few local beach restaurants like Baha Bahina and Fresh were perfect for lunch and breakfast. There’s also a local grocery store with a good selection. Natalia, the property manager, was also local and supported our check in and answered questions we had and helped us find activities and excursions. We would rebook Gary’s villas on a return to Roatan!

Such a beautiful home in such a beautiful location. We loved staying so close to the water. We always got a nice breeze and loved hanging out in the screened in room when we were at the house. It was nice to stay on the east side of the island away from the crowds, it was very peaceful. Wendy the property manager is so nice. She was always very quick to respond if we had any questions. She also came to the house one night and cooked for us. The food was very good. Would definitely recommend staying in for at least one dinner prepared by her and her helper. The key lime pie was so good! There are 3 restaurants with in walking distance from the Airbnb. All three were good but our favorite was La Sirena. The coconut lion fish was so good. Rustic setting right on the water. We loved it there. Chelle’s is also close(5min drive). Try the watermelon juice! The owner James was also very easy to communicate with. We had a small issue with the hot water and he had it fixed quickly.

Gary was a very responsive and welcoming host. He even invited us on a special fireworks adventure at sea, and we had an amazing time! He is friendly, caring and responsive, offering advice on the best places to go in Roatan to help us make the most of our trip. Gary’s place was also wonderful! A gorgeous location, right on the beach, with a private dock to snorkel and watch sunsets off of. We really enjoyed the beautiful pool and well-kept grounds. We had an awesome week there. The home had everything we needed. We felt safe and secure there- right at home. If you’re trying to find a place, this one is better than the photos!! Book with Gary, you’ll be glad you did! We had an amazing stay! The home is beautifully finished out and in a fantastic location—close to everything, but still peaceful and private. The outdoor space was lovely. The pool and balcony were perfect for relaxing, and the outdoor ice maker was a great bonus for our family of six. We also really appreciated the thoughtful welcome gifts—our boys especially loved the hats! Having a washer and dryer with detergent provided was incredibly helpful, especially for a family with young kids. Jorge, the on-site security guard, was wonderful and made us feel safe and cared for throughout our stay. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to other families!

Gary’s Villa is a true gem – ocean views, lush landscaping, and a prime location. It’s a turn from the paved street, making it easy to drive in and out and for an extended stay. Everything is well maintained so you’ll feel right at home from the moment you arrive. Natalia managed the Villa during our stay. She was proactive in communicating with us and she incidentally manages one of the best tour companies on the island, Scuba Nomad Roatan. Friendly neighbors add to the welcoming atmosphere. The villa is thoughtfully furnished for comfort, with ceiling fans even in the en suite bathrooms. You’ll find blackout drapes in the bedrooms. No roosters, so you can actually sleep in! Copious seating inside and out. Since we do occasional cooking, the well equipped kitchen has more than was listed during our stay—a blender, a toaster and lots of cookware. We enjoyed the private pier and excellent restaurants a short walk away.

Bella and the management company helped arrange transportation and being able to check in, after their office closed for the day. This place is perfect for the vacationers that want the serene of the beach, without the bussle of West Bay, and the activities of a short walk to West End.

Enjoyed our stay here. Accommodated our group of 11 with no problem. I highly recommend! Short walk to the beach, about a 15 minute walk alongside the beach to the main strip of West End. The breakfast here at the resort was delicious. Owner appreciates the guests and welcomes them like family
