Our group was extremely happy to find this gem for accommodations for the Wharf Rat Rally! We had 3 1/2 couples in our group and there was plenty of room for all of us and our gear. It is located realtively close to Digby and the ride to and from was absolutely wonderful! We were happy to find plenty of rooms, a fully stocked kitchen, 2 spacious bathrooms and a diningroom large enough to fit us all. The property and views were beautiful as well. It was a great place to relax after a long day of riding. Last but not least, our hosts were amazing! They made sure our stay was the best! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Was in town for a tournament, this place was what we needed to get some rest.

Great location but there are stairs to the bedroom locations, which are not soundproofed. House was clean and all ameneties were provided..

We stayed for a week and the house was so inviting. We loved the layout! It was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed and lots of essentials provided by the host. Checkin was easy, and any communication with Ron was responded to very promptly. The deck was great, allowing us to hear the birds down by the water while enjoying the warm (ish) spring days. My only regret is that the pool was not open yet for the season. Will definitely return!

Lovely place! It was so comfortable and homey. Rebecca was very responsive and was there for anything we needed! We thoroughly enjoyed walking the beautiful trails! We visited in the Spring time but we will definitely be back in the summer when we can enjoy the lovely other amenities the property has to offer!

bit of a late review but I wanted to make sure I left one as I was behind satisfied with my stay. the place was very clean and tidy upon arriving and there was even a little goodie basket to welcome me. The people that live in the unit below were the nicest people ever and shoveled and salted the driveway when it snowed and even brushed off my car and put the windshield wipers up for me. The place was well stocked with all necessary amenities and even a bunch of nice bonuses like the keurig machine that had kcups with coffee and hot chocolate. The hot tub being in its own little sun room was very nice and sitting in the hot tub while listening to rain on the metal roof was so relaxing. all around a great place in a great neighborhood, very welcoming and cozy with amazing owners. would definitely stay again it was hard to leave. Love everything about this place! If you are looking for a place with lots of fun activities and fun this is the one for you. Came with everything we needed and not too far drive from Cavendish! Will stay again in the future.

This was my second visit to this location. Great spot for a large family or a Girls getaway. Everything you need for a group is on site. Large fridge and Wine fridge. Big kitchen counters for our potluck meals. Big dining table/games table. Cozy sitting areas that fits everyone. And Masstown market is minutes away for shopping or those last minute items.

What a beautiful place to stay! Denise welcomed us, and took us on a tour of the house. Her house is equipped with everything you need, it was awesome. the home was clean and very comfortable. The nature cant be beat! The sky at night is of course incredible, as is the beach right across the road. Beautiful stones, a rockhound would have a ball. I cannot wait to go back!

I stayed at Rob's place twice now and both times were great experiences. He has been flexible with check in and the place is well kept! I look forward to staying again next year :)

We had a struggle with the mortgage company for a home that had purchased near Yarmouth, but this made the hassles easier to deal with and it was a great location to get out and meet our new neighbors

Outstanding host. Truly blown away by Gerry’s warm welcome to Halifax. Every day he offered assistance and advice, which was much needed and appreciated since we had never been to Nova Scotia before. His friendliness is genuine and heartwarming. And his place is totally fantastic. An unexpected bonus was 100% the best hot water pressure in a shower that I’ve ever experienced in my life. Highly highly recommended.

We had an absolutely lovely, peaceful stay. Super friendly hosts, cozy vibes and everything you need for an enjoyable retreat. Very dog friendly, great rain shower and even little treats to enjoy. Thanks again!

Colleen was the best host we have ever had! Her cottage was spotless and felt like a home away from home. It is an excellent location, close to downtown Shediac and minutes from Parlee Beach. We cannot recommend this cottage more and will most definitely be back!

I had a wonderful stay at The Bear's Den. Liana is a warm, friendly host who communicates clearly what she expects and keeps the treehouse beautifully clean and tidy. She has created a peaceful oasis on her large property and gone the extra mile with the well-marked trail to the river. I'm looking forward to returning for another forest retreat.

Loved it and really appreciated that it was pet friend. Very peaceful location and central to many locations on the island and very close to cavendish. Would definitely recommend!
