As advertised. Close enough to Charlottetown and out in the country near water. My grandson enjoyed the pool. Nice and quiet even on the weekends. Aundrea was a wonderful host

We had a wonderful stay at Jesstine’s cabin! This is our second summer staying here with our two kids and two dogs. The location is incredible and the cabin has everything you need. We hope to come back for many summers!

We had a fantastic first-time stay at Todd and Jessica's cottage. The cottage's front lawn comes to the water so it is easy and incredible to sit on the spacious patio and watch the tides, Spoon island, and numerous waterfowl like great blue herons, eagles, crows, seagulls and cormorants. The cottage is clean and well equipped, inc. two pairs of binoculars, games, and well equipped kitchen. The fire pit is beautiful and we had sufficient supply of wood. We appreciate being able to bring our dog - we walked the nearby Gagong Nature Preserve every morning and it was great. St. Stephen is nearby for convenience as is a great little local vegetable market (inc. fresh blueberries, NB honey and maple syrup) - on route 170 toward St. Stephen. We highly recommend the place! It was so peaceful and beautiful here. You truly feel like you have the whole area to yourself - the beach is great for swimming and watching the sunset. We had a great time!

Kristine was an excellent host! Her place is incredibly beautiful. We would love to come back in the future.

This was a fantastic little place for a staycation. The bed is the comfiest I have ever slept on. Close to so many little shops and some restaurants on the main strip and a quick drive to Lunenberg. The cottage is very private and cozy. The shower is fantastic as well.

The cabin is rustic, but it has everything you need for a pleasant and easy stay. The cabin was clean, the bed was very comfortable and warm, the bathroom has plenty of warm water. The heater was enough to keep the cabin warm. We travelled with our pet and she was very comfortable throughout the entire stay. The location is excellent! The farm is beautiful and has several trails to hike and enjoy the scenery. The area is quiet and peaceful, with plenty of fresh air. The cabin is about 10 minutes away from town, where there are plenty of good restaurants and friendly locals. It is also very close to the Roque Bluffs State Park. We had a very pleasant stay and Lisa was wonderful!

Idyllic location with a panoramic view of the Bay of Fundy. Christine and Andy are warm and welcoming hosts with lots of suggestions for activities. Extremely responsive. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Our stay was an amazing, relaxing weekend. Stephanie was extremely responsive to our message when we had trouble finding the place initially, and Peter was also extremely helpful! Thank you both for an amazing stay, we will definitely be back :)

Me and my partner had a great time! It was a well needed get away suited for all weather with the shelter covering all of the patio so you can still sit outside when it rains! As well there are lots of different ways to cook with the bbq and the fireplace, it had everything you would need for your stay if you only had the clothes on your back! The tote you get with the supplies for making a fire was excellent and well thought of. Overall it was a great stay and we will definitely be back!

The perfect spit in every way.. we were very grateful for the hospitality and thoughtfulness from our hosts. With family in the area and Conrad Beach a walk away, we will be back. 10/10 recommend.

Couldn’t say better things about our stay! It was clean, all set up with fire logs ready to go for a fire, wood fired hot tub was ready for us and heated up to hop in right away! Amazing views, woke up to the sun rise over the water that we watched in bed each morning! It was just a perfect gateway and way to recharge! Thank you so much Jenn!

What an absolute gem! This was my first solo getaway, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The space is beautifully decorated, thoughtfully laid out, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The sauna was such a luxurious bonus, perfect for unwinding. I especially loved that the Bay to Bay trail is just steps away—ideal for a peaceful walk or a bit of exploring. My only regret is booking just one night; I would have loved more time to fully soak in the charm of Lunenburg and Mahone Bay. The location is unbeatable, and Kathryn was incredibly responsive and welcoming. If you’re a busy mom in need of a little reset, take this as your sign—you deserve it, and this is the perfect place!

We had a wonderful stay at Marit and James’ Airbnb. It rained almost our entire stay but that didn’t dampen our experience in the slightest. We were still able to enjoy the hot tub, we enjoyed playing the games that were available in the dome as well as some local restaurants. The sound of the rain on the dome was so peaceful! Marit and James’ attention to detail was obvious in every nook of the dome and they were very helpful with directions and recommendations.

Bunkie on the Bay was just what we needed. A welcoming and peaceful place with everything you need. They have thought of everything and we loved our stay. It’s a great experience for couples to get away together and relax. A definite must stay. Thank you

Our stay here was incredible! The spot was so picturesque and peaceful. We couldn’t believe just how close we were to the beach! Everything was in pristine condition and truly had a seaside cabin feel. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. We would definitely love to stay again!

Lovely place! It was so comfortable and homey. Rebecca was very responsive and was there for anything we needed! We thoroughly enjoyed walking the beautiful trails! We visited in the Spring time but we will definitely be back in the summer when we can enjoy the lovely other amenities the property has to offer!

We spent 3 nights at the cottage and we could have stayed forever! The cottage is cozy but has absolutely EVERYTHING you need for a truly comfortable stay. Everything was absolutely spotless and the bed SO comfortable! The view from the gorgeous deck was absolutely STUNNING! Watching the boats over the harbour while sitting having a fire was one of the highlights of our trip. There really are no words to accurately describe the views, and the location couldn't be more perfect. I could gush over this space forever! Kim was so kind and helpful, and we would HIGHLY recommend this amazing cottage to anyone! Thank you so much, Kim. ❤️

We had such a beautiful stay at Stephanie’s retreat! We loved the privacy the property offered us with the peaceful atmosphere right on the river. The place was exceptionally clean and even more beautiful than the photos can do justice!

Great location for getting away from everyday life. multiple lodgings if ever you want to rent as a family unit. the water access and equipment is a bonus!

My partner and I had such a wonderful and relaxing time away. This place was a perfect get away from the city. It was cozy and very private. It was very clean. There was bottled water provided for us upon arrival. The kitchen had everything we needed. The hot tub was our favourite part of the stay. It was clean and so warm! It was a perfect size for the two of us. We thoroughly enjoyed our time.

Cute tiny home located near the water (not for fishing or swimming) but had a nice view! Inside was clean and had all the linen and towels. Very comfy bed. Stairs are a bit steep to get to the bedroom and the ceiling is low. Overall we had a great stay!

My dog, girlfriend, and I stayed at The Petite Retreat for my birthday and had a wonderful time. The area was close to the ferry and there were plenty of things to do in the area. Alana gave great recommendations on places to visit (highly recommend Cape Forchu) and there were some great food spots within a close driving distance. Alana was very reliable when it came to communication and instructions. The only drawback was that there was no running water but there is water access in the tiny home so very small problem with a easy solution. I will definitely be recommending The Petite Retreat to any friends interested in visiting Nova Scotia!!

When you escape to a little cabin in the woods , you want to feel like you've gotten away to a secret little place of your own and this is how this place feels. Liana has put a lot of thought into this little gem and even though it sees other fellow visitors, it is so pristine and tidy it feels like you're the first person to stay in it. Lots to explore and enjoy on the property. This was my first visit and won't be my last. Liana is an exceptionally kind, friendly and multi-talented host. I felt very comfy and safe.
