Das 'Blockhaus' war super gemütlich, geschmackvoll und praktisch eingerichtet und ausgestattet. Die sternenklaren Nächte auf der Terrasse waren traumhaft und morgens wurden wir von den Pferden oder der Katze begrüßt. Ein wunderschöner Platz um zu entspannen und zu genießen. Truly beautiful place to spend our anniversary. It’s gorgeous, private and the place is hosted by friendly people. Would 100% stay here again as it’s close to home but just far enough away for us to get a break

this is our second time visiting and an absolute delight. Lots of care in the details and beautiful surroundings. Had daily visits from the cows and chickens who were both very quiet at night/morning. lovely place to unplug and unwind. Watching the moonrise from the outside bath is just so special. Our hosts were very helpful and kind. We will be returning!!

Greg’s and his place were absolutely amazing and the perfect place to get turned around after 30 hours of travelling. The gorgeous vista along the River and comfortable quiet and serene accommodations was great for all our needs. The hot tub was glorious and watching the sunsets and sunrises from the expansive deck was breathtaking!!! Our travel into Rotorua was a beautiful and easy drive from our accommodations. Our tour of the dairy farm with Angela and Joe was such a great extra pleasure and all of us enjoyed meeting both the managers and herd!!! We are so happy that our New Zealand experience started at Greg’s and we hope to return for a much longer stay in the future because it was a “piece of heaven!” Thank you Greg!!!

We had a really good time at this place, Andrea and her Husband are really friendly and helpful. Really good location and peaceful atmosphere. The house was clean and tidy. Everything was nice and perfect 🤩

We absolutely loved this tiny home!! Sonia and George were great hosts, they were very responsive and provided clear instructions for check in. The views were stunning, the cabin was so clean, bed was very comfy and there were lots of amenities. It ticked all the boxes for us. The entire weekend spent here far exceeded our expectations. Both my partner and I left feeling relaxed after enjoying the views from the baths. Highly recommend visiting we surely will be returning after our amazing time here.

Absolutely beautiful stay, especially for those whom are wanting to escape reality yet still be very close to normality. Sophie was so very responsive as I booked the morning of check-in. Very clean, very cozy, peaceful surroundings and plenty of farm life around. 10/10 would recommend for a couple wanting time out. Kitchen caters to every need, so very spacious for such a cozy little cabin!!

Dave is a wonderful host and went above and beyond to ensure we had what we needed during our stay. The cabin is cosy and well appointed and in a beautiful sunny and peaceful location. Our dogs loved the space and especially enjoyed meeting Dave's own dog (and they are very sorry about the destroyed toy!). Highly recommend this place to anyone traveling with their 4 legged friend. We will definitely be back again.

Had a great stay at Jason's place, Jason and his dad were very friendly and helpful with any queries and made us feel welcome. We really appreciated the bikes and enjoyed riding around the town. The cabin was cosy and very well equipped. We would love to return

Soooo schön! Eine besondere Unterkunft,  so viele liebevolle Details. Die Fotos geben gar nicht wieder,  wie phantastisch diese Unterkunft ist! Durch die vielen kleinen Gebäude fühlt man sich wie in ein kleines Märchenland versetzt. Besonders gut hat uns das Badezimmer gefallen,  es ist eine kleine Wellness-Oase! Die Küche ist mit hochwertigen Geräten ausgestattet. Man muss sich auf ein kleines Abenteuer einlassen. Leider konnten wir nicht länger bleiben, aber wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen! Die Kommunikation vorab war etwas holprig.

Mike is a wonderful host. We had the option of checking in early and checking out late if we wanted to. The cabin looks even better in person. It’s a perfect place for a week end get away. There’s a shopping center less than 5 minutes away and it’s got everything you need. Very quiet and private area, it felt safe. Mike was very responsive and very helpful ! Will definitely be recommending this place and stay here again ! Thank you

Uns hat die kleine Unterkunft von Liz und Neil wirklich gut gefallen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, nicht zuletzt weil die beiden an jedes Detail gedacht haben. Das Highlight waren auf jeden Fall die frischen Hühnereier! So etwas hatten wir noch nie in einem Airbnb:) Auch toll war der Parkplatz direkt neben der Hütte. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt in Rotorua sehr empfehlenswert!

The Airbnb sits on the top of a hill by itself overlooking the farm, and has a wicked view of Tauranga Moana and Mayor Island - so beautiful! The layout was open, but private and we enjoyed the indoor/outdoor flow. The trek down to the river was so worth it, and we got to spend a few hours by the river, just enjoying nature and sounds of the water and birdsong, which we had all to ourselves. The sky was so clear that night, so we enjoyed the outdoor fire while watching the stars. This was a top 5 place for us and we hope to be back at some stage. Thank you Matthew and whanau for being so accommodating and friendly - we appreciate the hard work it took to make such a beautiful Airbnb :)

looking for peace & to switch off from the pressures of city life for a night or two then this is the place for you, Fantastic scenery, private & the option of 3 different rooms. you can hire all 3 and it would be an awesome get away for family or a group of friends. One of the rooms has its own bathroom and the other two shared facilities which were only a couple of meters away in the stockyard shed.All clean safe and great hot shower too! We had the best sleep ever! It is off the grid but the solar power was more than enough for basic power, lighting,charging devices etc.Cell phone reception is patchy but a few steps up to the barn and you well connected to the world again. (also being semi disconnected added to the charm of the place.) Bring all your own food & drinks + maybe a board game or 2 and really just enjoy the awesome spot without having to venture into town &relax. bonus is the use of a private boat ramp, we had our 2 jetskis and had an amazing time exporting the lake

It was a beautiful, private location perfect for couples. We enjoyed our stay and will be back:)
