Wow! Stunning views all around and amazing sunsets. Very quiet and peaceful. House is exactly as described and more. Has everything you need, all amenities provided. Very comfortable beds, large bathroom and two toilets. Outdoor furniture provided. Outdoor bath was extra special for our overseas visitors. Lovely friendly host with good communication and instructions on location. Will definitely return. Thank you Cyn, one of the best places we have ever stayed in :-).

Close to redwoods and felt just like home away from home! Cats were super friendly too (even the big striped one who wasn’t supposed to be there 🤭) Julie was very responsive to messages and nothing was a problem! Thanks Julie and family for letting us borrow your home for an epic weekend in Rotorua!

My wife and I stayed here for a weekend. the house itself was stunning, very homely with beautiful decor. The views were amazing and sitting in the spa pool looking out over the lake in the evenings was awesome. Super private and peaceful place. We'd love to come back again.

The house was perfect for our group of 5 adults and was in an amazing location. There was plenty of space for everyone to lounge and relax, and we loved how close it was to the beach and great cafes in town. There is a small Four Square supermarket about 10 mins walking distance which has plenty of supplies (including Mount Sourdough Co bread!) and a larger New World supermarket that was a short drive away. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to cook meals at home, and for coffee making had both a French press and a coffee pod machine and a milk steamer. The Mount Surf Co sells coffee pods from Flight Coffee and was our favorite place to restock the pods. We loved our stay and would definitely return :)

We travelled down with my elderly parents and the place was just perfect. Peace and quiet, one level home, my parents sitting outside the deck watching the golfers, big house, plenty of room to move around. Beach and diary 2mins away by car. We stayed for 2 days and everyone loved it especially my elderly parents. So thank you to Vicky and Chelsea. We will definitely be back

Beautiful home to stay in! There was lots of space and had everything we needed to make it an enjoyable stay. Would definitely return if we come back to Tauranga.

Stu (and Bear!) were amazing hosts. Stu's place is a hidden gem, and undoubtedly our favourite place we stayed while in New Zealand. The pictures don't do it justice! Everything was immaculately clean, well presented, and felt like pure luxury. The location was great- we loved the privacy, peace and quiet while only being a short drive to popular spots and amenities. The only thing to note is that the washer/dryer is not within the accommodation itself, but rather within Stu's workshop. This wasn't an issue, and with notice Stu was accommodating enough to allow us to do some loads of washing. Overall, we had an unforgettable few days here in Stu's little oasis, and if the chance presents we'd love to come back. Thank you!

Fantastic property in a great location. Great areas with 2 outdoor spaces and really great en-suite with master bedroom being away from the other 2 bedrooms. Really well setup kitchen and amenities. Would definitely recommend this property and we would stay again. Host responded very quickly and check in made easy.

Raewyn's place was a wonderful stay. Her place was spacious, the kitchen had all the amenities, super comfortable bed, close to the beach and lovely patios to sit outside. Raewyn and her husband are lovely hosts and were extremely helpful and caring. We would go back in a heartbeat and sorry we couldn't stay longer.

Have stayed here before when attended a local local yachting regatta and found the location convenient. The property is close to the western ramps for launching support boats. Will rent again if the property is available

Lovely location overlooking Lake Taupo and into the sunset. Spacious deck to relax, eat and enjoy the view. Helpful responsive host. Very clean and well equipped living areas. Lovely Millennium Hotel restaurant right across the street. Great location for a relaxing break.

Our stay in Waihi Beach was exceptional. We loved the area and our host. The apartment was just as beautiful as shown. You could hear the ocean from the apartment. Thank you Campbell and Julie for wonderful hospitality.

Out of every place we stayed in New Zealand, this was by far our favorite. It was very clean, modern, spacious, great location, and the views were priceless. When we come back to NZ we will definitely stay here again. What an incredible place.

Fantastic accommodation with amazing hosts - would highly recommend!

This was a great place to stay for a family of up to 8 inc 2 kids. The pool is clean and private, off road parking was perfect for our visit as we had a ute and trailer. The house has everything you need to enjoy your stay. we can definitely recommend this place as a great place to stay.

Great to deal with the host, just everything was perfect. Flexible check in and check out process with great communication. The place was spotless and beds are very comfortable. One of the best air bnb places that we ever tried. We will definitely come back again.

If you want to go to a peaceful haven with beautiful views, an amazing walk,tons of bird life,a comfortable place and very friendly hosts this is the place for you. It was so amazing how Merle and Al have worked so hard to make his arbnb such an oasis. This is one of those places you don’t want to leave during the day because it is just so nice sitting on the deck and taking everything in. This house is located in a beautiful area, a very quick walk across the road to a pristine beach. The house has everything we needed for a Sisters weekend getaway! The only time I contacted the host with a small question I received an answer within 5 minutes, this home is very private and also very quiet (except for neighbors dog, who like any dog would bark at us 😄) I would recommend this home to anyone wanting a fantastic getaway.

Sylvie’s house was an absolute dream!! Everything from the views, the decor, the location- it was all amazing. There were lots of little touches that made it feel like a really welcoming and comfortable home too (not a soulless holiday let), which made it even more special. Sylvie was incredibly warm, accommodating, and responsive- overall a really lovely host. Thank you for an amazing stay, we really hope to come back one day!

Des’ place is awesome! The whole place feels like you’re staying in a museum of sports, every corner of the house tells a story. It is so personal and cozy, it makes you feel at home. Perfect location with second to none surroundings. Just a few minutes drive from Rotorua, perfect if you want to get away from the noise and hurry of the day to day life.
