John was a lovely host, always friendly and up for a chat when we caught him. The house is in a great location & super easy to find! Albie, their cat, is the sweetest boy ever and often came over for snuggles! Would recommend staying here if possible :)

Exactly as described and photos are reliable. Was easy to check in, very close to beach, accessible (no stairs), was perfect for our family and I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect beach batch! Extremely close to a beach access and great surf spot. Grocery store, cafes and restaurants are all within an easy walking distance. The apartment was very well equipped and so much space for surf boards and hanging out outside.

When we drove up to the property we felt very welcomed by John he was a real hoot. Very comfortable home away from home great comforts of home. Thanks Jane and John for your hospitality.

We had a wonderful time in Rotorua and at Marie's place. Everything you need is there. The shower is a dream. 😅😍 We had a car, so it was easy to get along. But there is a bus station right in front of the house. Marie and Warwick are great hosts, had some lovely chats with them. Warwick even baked delicious cookies. Would definitely stay there again.

We had a lovely and homely stay. Lynda and Graeme were wonderful hosts and the drinks and nibbles were a lovely touch. It was also a good location. Graeme recommended a fab bar/ restaurant on the Friday night that we thoroughly enjoyed. We would love to stay again, thank you both.

Jane our host is lovely and accommodating . A later check out was offered which was appreciated . The kitchen with full fridge and dishwasher was great . Bed was extremely comfortable and everything beautifully clean .

The Pearl was one of the best AirBnb’s I’ve stayed at in quite some time. The charm of truly feeling like you’re a guest in someone’s home + a cozy, comfy and immaculately clean space you’d get from a hotel. Loved my stay!!! Great location, great apartment. Felt safe and secure being on my own, was in walking distance to everything. Comfy bed, all the little touches were thought about. Will come back without hesitation 🩷

The hosts were friendly and helpful, and my daughter loved the trampoline. The location is convenient for mountain biking at the redwoods. We missed being able to cook (no stove) but the kitchenette and the fridge is good enough for breakfast &sandwiches. Thank you for the wonderful stay!
