Great place to stay. Parking right by unit which was great. Great support from the host. Well supplied and really could not have ask for more. Fabulous view!!

the guest ranch was absolutely amazing!! this is a must stay! Hopefully the next stay will be a whole week!! can't wait to go back! if you get a chance you HAVE TO STAY HERE!!

Great place for our group trip. House was large and spacious with lots of places to hangout and the property was well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The lake access was a bonus and there is lots to do in the surrounding areas of Cranbrook and Fernie, both a short drive away.

Anna was unable to host us due to a bad water situation at the ranch. AirB&B informed me that they have to penalize Anna due to the cancellation.. I want to leave this public review to express how helpful, accommodating, communicative, and lovely Anna was through the entire process. If you’re thinking about it, absolutely book a stay with Anna at the guest ranch. She is a fantastic host.

This home fulfilled all my ski trip dreams. beautiful tall ceilings with huge windows. Wood burning fireplace and a hot tub. The kitchen was fully stocked and fun games in the basement. It was an amazing weekend with friends.

Anna's place is better than advertised. Spectacular surroundings, peaceful, private and was everything we were looking for in a weekend getaway to get grounded and reconnect with ourselves and each other. The hot tub and sauna were easy to operate; the cabin was meticulous with every attention to beautiful detail. Highly recommended - we will be back with family and friends! WOW what an amazing spot! Everything about this property was very well thought out and put together. The Ski In access that leads straight to the hot tub was amazing after a long ski day. Dan and Michelle did an amazing job at communicating and making sure the place was up to standards. We were even greeted with a bottle of Prosecco! Can’t recommend their place enough. We will be back!

Ray’s cabin was the perfect peaceful getaway! I was there for a month with my pups while working remote and it was so relaxing. Definitely left feeling recharged, and got to see the leaves change color which was amazing! Sunsets, giant soaking tub, beautiful views, privacy, mountains, you really can’t ask for more. But Ray was also super responsive, friendly, and helpful whenever I needed it! Even went out of his was to check in throughout the month to see if I needed anything!

What a wonderful setting for a peaceful and relaxing time away from the hustle and bustle. The home is right on the lake and was well stocked with everything you would need to make it your own home for several days. The nights on the patio deck with our family was wonderful and spending time on the dock and in the kayaking in the lake was amazing. We've already sent link to a few friends who inquired based on our social media posts and would certainly stay again in the future.

Absolutely loved John’s place. The photos really don’t show how great it is. Beautiful view of the lake from the deck. Kitchen incredibly well stocked and with all the things you’d need. Plenty of space for all. We were two couples vacationing for 6 days. John was super helpful and great to communicate with. Lake Koocanusa was a dream. Such a find. We loved it. We brought our Sea-Doo and got out on the lake. We biked on local trails and explored Eureka and Whitefish. Such fun. Highly recommend!!

My wife and our family got together to celebrate our 40th Anniversary and my wife’s retirement!! With the help of our children and their families, this special celebration was awesome!!! When you plan so far out and now we look back at it all, the experience we had with everyone at Tom’s lake property, brought memories for all that will last a life time!!! From the moment I booked till the last hour, we were taken care of! Although we were only there for a short time, it felt like home! We didn’t want to leave at all! You know when you look at a few pictures and get the idea what the place will be like…. well this place is better than your imagination! We truly enjoyed our stay and we sincerely thank Tom for being a great host and allowing us to be able to stay at his place and experience lake house living is truly amazing and appreciated!! Thanks again Tom for this great celebration getaway!! Unbelievably an exceptional and memorable experience for myself and family!

Would absolutely stay here again! Perfect for a quiet weekend getaway. The big living room windows offer incredible views of the trees and mountain. Make sure to wander to the back yard to star gaze.

Such a lovely stay! My second time here - first was with my Mom and this time I brought my friend for her 30th birthday. She was blown away and said it was “the best birthday gift ever.” I’m sure it’s all been said before… but this cabin getaway makes you feel like you’re the only ones alive in a wide, beautiful world. It’s so secluded and peaceful, with scenery so breathtaking it almost hurts. Everything about the setup is creative and thoughtful, you can tell the hosts have put a lot of care into it. The simplicity is refreshing and provides such a perfect reset. We wandered happily on the hiking trails, watched fireflies and stars at night, sat for long hours around the fire and swam even longer hours in the lake. A very memorable and special two days.

The best word to describe this stay is "magical." If you are looking to unwind and reconnect with quiet, nature and yourself, look no further. Debora has thought of every single detail to enjoy the winter wonderland that is her home and property. The cabin was completely stocked with everything you need to cook and relax. Tons of board games if the weather gets bad and an ideal setting to watch wildlife. We were lucky to have received a bit of snow while we visited, which we completely enjoyed. The cabin and property are pristine. Debora is an exceptional communicator and helped guide us to whatever we need. Of note if you are not accustomed to winter stays, you need to adequately plan for your food and water. It is a trek into town if the roads are questionable. We are used to rural living, so it was not an issue, but this is not a location that you can jump out and grab coffee around the corner in the morning. :)

Greeted with a personalized hand written note welcoming us. This place has everything you would ever need. It was so nice to get up in the morning to the gorgeous lake koocanusa water only steps from the property. Perfect location. Tied our boat up front, lots of room for the boat trailer on the driveway. Taryn was very accommodating. At night we turned on the propane fire pit. It was so peaceful and created a relaxed ambiance. What a beautiful home. We sure enjoyed our stay !

A hidden gem in so many ways. All you need for some relaxing private lakefront time is right here. Fully stocked kitchen and bbq make cooking easy and mornings with coffee and the view were amazing!

Great place to rest your head for the night. Bed was comfortable.

Bill was great at communicating. Any questions we had he immediately answered. Nice quiet location with plenty of room for parking. Rooms were cozy, clean and had that "cabin" feel. Great place and will consider staying again if in the area.

This is an older property tastefully updated. Lovely! Although the hostess is offsite, Virginia is close by for any questions or concerns. Extremely helpful to us! You need to get groceries before you arrive, limited selection in Fortine. We had other events planned so didn’t get to explore the property. Did see a deer in the driveway chased by 2 coyotes. Only criticisms are minor: remote blinds in upstairs bedroom wouldn’t close which let room get too warm from sun and some of the snacks/stables are past their expiration dates. I’m sure those things will be corrected immediately.

The cabin is warm and inviting. It is surrounded by gorgeous views. I especially enjoyed the large deck with propane fireplace. There is a lovely bathtub that I found soothing after my days spent exploring the woods. I recommend staying here. Host was friendly and helpful.
