We loved staying on Port Tack. This is one of our favorite areas in Palmetto Dunes. We have young kids who are learning to bike and we always find this area to feel very family friendly and are comfortable letting the children ride their bikes. We stayed here after Hurricane Helene waiting on things to “normalize” back at home in NC. Having the pool and spa provided some much needed fun with friends during this hard time! What an incredible stay! My husband and I loved our "home away from home" located in one of the South's most beautiful neighborhoods! Partner that with Eliza's gracious hospitality, excellent communication and numerous amenities throughout the house and community, it made for the perfect extended stay. Plus the location is centrally located for day trips to Bluffton and Hilton Head SC, as well as Savannah GA. We definitely hope to return!

The house was perfect for our large family! It had plenty of bathrooms (and hot water) for quick and easy clean up of the little ones after long days at the beach and on the water. The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe! Lots to do in the area all within minutes of the house. The whole family enjoyed the swimming pool. The location offered easy access to anywhere we wanted to go. Tracy was wonderful and easy to contact. I’d definitely pick this home again if ever in the area!

We really enjoyed our stay at Michelle's place. It is a beautiful, peaceful retreat and we spent every morning on the porch enjoying the views with our coffee. The location is as remote as described and you better have some great vehicle backup skills to use on the one lane causeway! :) Michelle was a great host and very responsive. We lost power one evening and she immediately answered my call to report the outage and direct me to candles for the house. Overall, we had a very relaxing wonderful girls trip! Thank you, Michelle!

We had so much fun on our trip to Fripp. The house sits by the marina on one side and the marsh on the other but wasn’t too loud or too busy. We spent most of our mornings out in the back deck watching the tide come in and watching wildlife with the binoculars provided. Monday morning we found that there was no internet. I had a conference call for work, so this was a bit inconvenient. I went up to the guest service center and found they too had no internet. That afternoon we went to Hunting Beach, and they also had no internet. Check out was a bit early, but we still managed to use the bikes in the garage to run down to the beach for sunrise and clean up before we left. There were no trash cans so we just put our trash bags in the area the cans were supposed to be. Can’t wait for our next low country trip!

This place is great. Just like the pictures. Very private. Beautiful views including wildlife sightings. Dolphin, deer… Everything was very comfortable and clean. Minutes from restaurants. Biking paths everywhere. Communication with owner when we arrived and left. We didn’t need anything. The best place to be.

This is a great, fully equipped, home on the marsh. The Kitchen had everything we needed to cook a big holiday meal. The location feels private, and there is a small screened in porch. Access to the beautiful beach is a quick golf cart ride away. There are basketball and tennis courts, and fishing spots in the neighborhood, plenty of activities. The neighborhood is gated so you need to coordinate access for each car and access is limited. Overall, a great, fun place.

We loved our stay at James’ place! The house was very clean and well-stocked. It was charming and had an amazing screened in porch that we used every day! We were very close to the beach and loved the gorgeous Spanish moss and palmetto-lined street the house is on. The golf cart was an added plus, we loved using it to get around the island and to go to the pool at the resort. James was responsive and helpful leading up to and throughout our stay. Lastly, we loved being able to bring our four legged friend. Our dog loves spending time at the beach so it was great to find an Airbnb welcoming to dogs. Would recommend for your next family vacation!

If you are looking for a quiet place to get away from it all, this is it! Sunsets are amazing. It is perfect for stargazing. And the silence seeps into your soul. We left rejuvenated. Her place was perfect for the 2 of us. I would stay here monthly if I could! Ps. I highly recommend getting some shrimp & oysters (if you come in the ‘R’ months) at Flowers on Hwy 174 heading to Edisto Beach.

Kelsey’s property is a gem! It’s location mere steps from the water and just a short walk into town is perfect. It allows for the guest to easily pick between staying on the property to enjoy the pristine landscaping or walking into town for some truly incredible dining, shopping and art gallery options. The home itself is a lovely little property. It was pristine, well furnished and not cramped. The bed is very comfortable, thanks to the cloud-like mattress cover. And I could not forget to mention the tub!!! Beautiful artwork adorns the walls. Kelsey was very responsive, flexible and a pleasure to communicate with.

We love staying here so much we brought our children back after 7 years to make sure they would remember it! Staying on Egret Island Is truly like being in your own personal nature preserve. We ate dinner on our beautiful porch, watched the sunrise and sunset, observed dolphins swimming below the dock, and spotted all manner of local bird life. The house is immaculate and has everything you could want provided. We definitely recommend eating locally for lunch but taking snacks home for dinner--there is nothing like easing into a home away from home at the end of site seeing (grabbing sandwiches and wine from Blacksheep x Boundary or sushi from Locals are top recs to bring back to the comforts of your porch dining table!). Comfortable beds and couches, a massive bathroom, spotless surfaces, and a hot tub right outside your front door! Don't miss this one. We will definitely be back.

Adorable cabin that felt remote but was close to town and recreation. Wish we would have had more time than a quick overnight to explore the area. Christopher was a great host and we plan on making another trip sooner than later.

This place is AMAZING! I wish we had taken more pictures. We had such a great relaxing time from the beautiful house and dock with it’s breathtaking views that we just enjoyed life and each other. The deep water dock was perfect for our boat. Only a short boat ride to the inter coastal waterway and beaches. Janie is a fabulous host. We couldn’t ask for anything better. She gave us excellent advice and recommendations for local restaurants and a close boat landing. Not only will we be come back again and again, but we have already started sharing this fantastic place with all our friends and family!
