being from the outer Banks area and coming back to visit we couldn't have found a better place,it offered things I didn't know were available there...the host were great and responsive and understanding and the house was everything that was described, the feeling of home is the only way to describe the stay, the overwhelming feeling of peace is an understatement,definitely going back in the near future,highly recommend Brittany and Kelly to anyone who sees this add 🙏🙏

We really enjoyed staying here! It was nice being closer to the beach and the marina in Psalter Path. it was our first time on the island and even though the weather was not great we had fun. Thanks David for making sure we had some snacks and necessities in the house!

Charming, beautifully restored, well-appointed, dog-friendly farmhouse in quiet, safe, unique setting of Marshallberg – as described and pictured but even better! Easy check-in and check-out. Excellent, communicative hosts. Very enjoyable – no problems at all. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it to others! Top notch!

We fell in love with this little bungalow! It was so clean and had everything you could need or want! Super convent location to so many things! You could literally hear the ocean and it was so peaceful! We can’t wait to come back with our family! Highly highly recommend!!! And of course the hosts were so welcoming and communicated well!

I highly recommend this property. The location is spectacular, with amazing sound views and the sunsets over the sound are extraordinary. The house was spotless and extremely comfortable. The amenities—kayaks, golf cart, beach chairs, etc. were simply fabulous. We loved our stay and felt very welcomed by the host!

We have stayed at roughly 50 different places across the country and nothing we've seen matches this place. Sitting at the dining room table, we were able to witness a spectacular sunrise, accompanied by multiple songbirds doing their thing, and for the finale, the dolphins lazily swam by 20 yards from the front lawn. Magical. The setting is beautiful, everything we needed was provided, the owners are wonderful, and the neighbors we met were very kind. Often times neighbors are a bit leery of being too chummy with guests they know will be off on their next adventure soon (understandably so.) Not here, felt like we'd been in the neighborhood for years. Our intention is to return often. Enough said.

3rd time staying with S&L but 1st time at this property and my children and I LOVED it. Right away they loved the vibe, scent, lighting, cleanliness, and the second bathroom had a fancy light!!! We will be back for sure!!!

The home was comfortable and inviting with a great view of the Sound and only a block from the beach. It was exactly what we needed for a short getaway and some R&R.

Our stay was incredible! We were close to the beach, nearby restaurants and shops, and close to the venue we were going to for a wedding. Team was responsive and EXTREMELY helpful in regard to helping us locate an item that we left behind. Would recommend!

Our family had a wonderful Thanksgiving week here. Jessica was extremely responsive before during and after our stay. The house had everything we needed, and there was room for everyone. It was great to be so close to the beach while also having a comfortable house where we could enjoy our Thanksgiving meal, games, movies, and family time together in.

Jeff and Julie's place was exactly as advertised. We were on the island over the weekend (March) and they were extremely communicative and flexible before and during our trip. Jeff even came out to increase the temperature for the heated pool so that our toddler could swim. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and it was great to stay within walking distance of the beach, restaurants and shopping as well.

Nice place for the price. I arrived a little early and they were happy to let me check in. The room was clean, and the location as a whole was nice and peaceful. I’d stay here again.

The house was beautiful and serene and Dawn was a fantastic host. Super responsive and helpful. I wish we weren’t here for work and got to enjoy the area more!!

We had a great time visiting Beaufort, Harker’s Island, Shackleford Banks, Cape Lookout, and Fort Macon during our trip. The home was clean and cozy with plenty of space for our family to gather. Kerri was responsive and friendly when we had questions, and we’d be happy to stay there again.

JUST BOOK IT! My family cannot say enough amazing things about this stay! From the game room packed with books and game, to the super relaxing hot tub….there are endless activities to do at this beautiful home! The golf cart was so helpful and convenient, my 84 year old grandmother was even able to get down to the beach for the first time in 20 years thanks to the golf cart! The hot tub and pool were so clean, and the backyard was extremely peaceful and relaxing especially with the surround sound speakers! The home is spotless and has every possible kitchen appliance and utensil! We also thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and grill! You will not find a better spot or a kinder host! Check in and check out where super easy and low maintenance. The host was also so friendly and responsive! Don’t think twice this spot is worth every penny!

This home was AMAZING!! We felt right at home here. Beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Melissa and Family great people. Very friendly and helpful. The home had a stunning view of the sunset. 100% recommend.

Such a nice quick getaway was made possible by this location. Lots of great childhood memories in Atlantic Beach and this stay did not disappoint

Adorable spot that was perfect for our stay. I booked last minute due to a cancellation of another reservation, and I’m glad it worked out that way! Deborah was super nice and personable, and her place had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Randy was so kind and helpful. My family enjoyed our Thanksgiving holiday and it was so well stocked for us we were able to cook and have everything we needed for a great meal!!

This is a lovely place, it was clean and furnishings were very nice. Everything I needed. It is a convenient location to downtown. They even welcome dogs. I liked my stay here very much.
