We were 7 of us, mostly siblings, so with 6 bedrooms it was perfect. The rooms were simple yet clean and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. While the house is not right on the water is is a very short stroll down to the docks and we had a beautiful view of Keuka Lake from the front porch and windows. There is much to do in the area-hiking, fishing, wine tasting. Also we enjoyed kayaking on the lake which is very beautiful and clean. All the stores you may need for supplies are about a 5 minute drive away in Penn Yan. We did a lot of cooking at the house and found the kitchen to be well stocked. There is a fire pit encircled by Adirondack chairs and we enjoyed campfires 2 of the nights we were there. Brian lives 2 doors down, but we never saw him, so there is no worry of the landlord being intrusive. All in all we would definitely stay again!

Thank you for our wonderful stay this weekend. Your place is the quintessential lake cottage. Everything we needed was supplied and at our fingertips, without being overrun with “stuff.” Well-maintained, clean, and comfortable. It was a cool, rainy weekend and we took full advantage of the bedroom fireplaces and extra blankets! Would love to come back to enjoy summer-time at your place. Thank you!

Historic. Modernized. Spacious. Equipped. Darned near perfect. Our three generations, population ten, aged five months to sixty-some years, just spent three days at Greg’s place. This 200+ year old farmhouse met our family lodging, social, and entertainment needs in every respect. Each bedroom was comfortable with its own personality. The kitchen/galley area featured eat-in and room for big meal prep, while the large dining room allowed all of us to sit together at the massive old long table. “Historic” does not preclude “modern” -- there was proper tv in every room, and lots of ‘smart’ items throughout the house. Some of us braved the (very) cold to enjoy the lovely hot tub on the screened porch. Others of us enjoyed the basement game room featuring, but not limited to, a pool table. The snow masked what is undoubtably a charming outside area with deck, pavilion, and patio seating area. Bristol Mountain is approximately three miles down the road. All in all… just outstanding.

Denise’s home was beautiful, comfortable and convenient for our needs. The rooms were spotless and very cozy. The bathrooms were sparkly clean and even stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body wash which was a humongous help as I usually forget my own when I travel! Denise was so responsive and attentive to any of our needs. Her father was a huge help during our stay and came by anytime we had a question or needed help with something. We were able to bring our fur children which was a huge bonus. The fenced in yard was great for my girls who were able to roam free and do some exploring in the snow. The addition of the large dog crate and dog runs were also great. I loved seeing that doggy shampoo, dog poo bags, some dog toys and even a muzzle were available if needed.

Thank you for letting us stay at your lovely house! We had the best time. The location is perfect, the house was so clean and the view was stunning. We highly recommend this lovely lake house!

The place looked exactly like the photos. It was beautiful, clean and had wonderful views of the mountain. It was walkable to Bristol but that's weather dependent and if you already had a lift ticket. If you had one you could hop right into a lift once you got to the mountain. The fireplace did not work and the caretaker did not respond to outreach. It was the main bummer of the place because of course you want a fireplace for apres ski! The kitchen had all the cookware needed but didn't have much outside of coffee and some creamer. We would definitely go back!

First off, Denise was an amazing host. She had already provided activities and options for us before our stay, and was checking in constantly to make sure things were good. Besides that, the house itself was beautiful and full of personality. It was cozy and inviting, which is needed, given we had some snow days and spent a good amount of time inside. The hot tub and pool table/air hockey were especially highlights, options for fun and relaxation. The location is close to everything, only a short drive to wineries and, our favorite part, about a million waterfalls. Get out and explore the area, because this home sets you up for a perfect stay in a serene and blissful place. Just be prepared to drive on some icy roads in the winter!

Went with a group of friends for the holidays, and everyone had a great time. Lots of things to do (boards games, pool table, fire pit, sauna, hot tub) and the house layout was great. The host was super responsive whenever we had questions or requests. The views from the house are also really nice. Only thing is that the beds are a little soft and squeaky but that’s a very minor (and subjective) note. There also seems to be a bit of sulphur in the water but I guess that’s not uncommon in the area (it’s not harmful, just smells strange). Nevertheless, would highly recommend!
