This was my second time staying at this beautiful home on Copake Lake and this stay was even better than the first! We had two families of 5 and found the home to have plenty of space to all come together as well as spaces for quiet time alone. The road to the home was well maintained despite snowy/rainy/icy conditions. It was a breeze to get to and from Catamount ski resort. We cooked all of our meals in the home and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. My kids are now begging to go back during the summer when the lake is not frozen solid. We will definitely recommend this home to others and hope to be back again!

We were a group of ten family/friends, not really interested in local happenings or activities because we were just there for the weekend to stay at the house and relax and unwind. The living room couches and dining table were great; we had plenty of room to hang out together, and the downstairs space living room wasn't even needed. The kitchen is very well appointed, but it's pretty small, so not really able to fit more than one or two people at a time. The beds were comfortable and with a variety of bed sizes, accommodated our group nicely. We appreciated the nice furniture and decor, I think it made everyone feel relaxed along with a fire in the wood stove. Had a fire down the hill by the lake, and unfortunately it was too windy to use the upper deck and outdoor furniture. Vincent quickly answered any questions we had. We didn't get to use any of the summer amenities but the lake looked like it'd be inviting in the summer.

A perfect spot for rest and relaxation, conveniently located near a supermarket if you prefer cooking in. It's also just a 20-minute drive to Woodstock for a night out. The house boasts an impressive collection of movies and music, and since the owner is a musician, be sure to check out her album—it perfectly complements the house's vibe!

The Nest is a lovely place with a cozy feel and nice views of the lake.

Anne Marie's place was exactly what we were looking for! It is extremely well stocked, with everything you might need, from kitchen appliances, extra blankets, many towels, etc. The surroundings were gorgeous and the area is very quiet and peaceful. Anne Marie was friendly and very responsive, answering questions quickly and flexibly. We can't wait to come back!

We had a wonderful long weekend at this place. Beautiful to watch the snow through the large living room windows. We’d definitely return!

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying in Adele’s home. The place was beautifully appointed and matched the descriptions. We enjoyed the water view and clean interiors, access to local hiking and the fire pit/hot tub. We will be back!

What we needed was really just a "heads in the bed" type situation as we had plans that were to keep us away from the house most of the day but really the place was very homey and lovely to come back to. Everything was just as described. The hosts were flexible and offered early check-in/late check-out unprompted which was nice to have some time to relax the day we checked out. Overall it was a great stay!

I can’t say enough positive things about Daniel’s place. The setting was beautiful and serene; It was so quiet and peaceful we almost felt like it was our own private lake! The house was lovely and so tastefully and uniquely decorated. All the windows gave a constant view of the lake. There are many quaint towns to explore within a 30 minute drive, but you may want to spend most of your time enjoying the lake and kayak. We hope to return in the summer.

Staying at Sonya’s house was an amazing experience! The house is very clean, updated, quiet and had everything we needed! I highly recommend staying at the cottage on the lake. The porch was an extra spot that the sun shined all day! It truly was a beautiful weekend!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. The cottage was clean and comfortable. The hosts thought of everything and made us feel right at home. We could not have been more pleased and would highly recommend this property.

If you are looking for simplicity (which we were) this is the perfect place to. I’ve always wanted to stay at a lake house. We couldn’t have asked for more. Serene, tranquil, beautiful are the proper descriptions of the house and the area. We came to Connecticut to visit my daughter and family and they ended up coming to our place instead. Jason was extremely helpful when needed. We would definitely stay there again!

Loved Ali’s cabin ! Small and cozy, has all you need. Ali was super responsive and clear. Would love to stay again.

I visited this beautiful place for valentines weekend and it was absolutely amazing, nice and clean kitchen equipped with all you need if you want to cook and the rooms were nice and cozy. Also this is a lake house so you have a beautiful view and you can enjoy outside too. We had a great time. I would only suggest to get the drive way clean from the ice/snow during winter time it was a little bit dangerous walking to our cars.

The home was spotless and the view was even better than the photos. The living room has tons of windows and great fireplace.

Tobye’s place was the perfect location for our Thanksgiving trip. Had all the amenities as listed and is a very responsive host. Was flexible to add a day as well and we so appreciated that! Kids loved the Xbox and we loved the coffee and peaceful view.

This was our 2nd time staying at Brian's place, the home is perfect for a larger group and has so many toys for the kids, they LOVED it! Everything is very clean, and the kitchen has all the pots/pans needed for cooking. In Feb there was so much snow we got to go sledding in the front yard, and a few from our group made the trip to Stratton for the day. We love going to Wilmington for coffee/lunch. Planning to be back again in 2026!

This place was perfect for a peaceful weekend getaway. On the chilly fall weekend the wood stove and sauna were much enjoyed. We hope to return!

What a great chill stay for Thanksgiving! Absolutely loved hanging on the deck with our baby and dogs (deck is enclosed), listening to the river and watching people fish. The cabin was very Scandi and it felt super peaceful and clean! We walked our dogs on some of the trails and they loved it. It felt cozy in the winter and can’t wait to try it out in the summer. Samuel and Catherine were super helpful and communicative. Loved it! They also left fresh eggs and a bottle of wine! 🧡

Had a wonderful time at this Airbnb! The space was clean, cozy, and well-located. The hosts were friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing stay :)

I stayed at Jim's cabin with 6 of my friends over Presidents Day weekend. it was perfect! the cabin is gorgeous, classic but modern. the heated floors, beautiful master suite with tub under the skylight, fireplace, game room, big dining table, large sectional couch - it met our needs (and wants!) with no complaints. the property is also lovely and we took a lot of nice snowy walks. we already are planning our next stay at Jim's. note for future winter guests: the driveway is a little scary in icey weather, but manageable with AWD.
