Bedfordshire : séjours à la ferme

Very much enjoyed our stay here - such a peaceful and serene setting. It was the perfect place to unwind, and our toddler really enjoyed having the cows, alpacas, and horse right outside the studio. The trampoline and beautiful woodland walk in the grounds were also great - so much space to explore and enjoy nature. We didn’t get the chance to try the coffee club this time, but it sounded brilliant and we’d love to come back for that. A really special place - highly recommended.

What a delightful stay I’ve just had at The Stable. Wonderful farm surroundings. Very peaceful and secure. Rita was an amazing host and the Cottage was extremely clean and comfortable and I wanted for nothing :-)

We were a family party with ages from 5 to 75 . Lots for everyone to do ( swimming , tennis, billiards/snooker & beautiful walks all there) There was enough space both inside the wonderfully converted barn and outside in the extensive grounds to enjoy each others company without being overcrowded. Thanks Sarah for enabling a lovely weekend .

We stayed in the annex for three weeks, as our son was attending an intensive course of physical therapy at NAPA in Harlow. The property being only on the ground floor was perfect for our son in a wheelchair. There is a step at the front door but we found that this was not at all a problem. Our stay was an extremely comfortable one. It is a beautiful property that is comfortable and well thought out. The annex has both style and substance. It feels like a home. The surrounding farm is beautiful and was a joy to look at. Sally herself is a perfect host - informative, kind and good fun. The only negative from me is that the fridge was too small for our purposes. However, Sally let us kindly use another fridge and I know that she has plans to install a bigger one. All in all, we loved it and we have already booked for later in the year.

Myself and some good friends stayed at the Bull Pen for a lovely weekend. The setting is impressive, peaceful and quiet and there are some beautiful cows grazing right next to the house. The barn itself is perfect… there’s not many places that are faultless but they have thought of everything. Cosy and well furnished, kitchen had the essentials for hot drinks and cooking, it was spotlessly clean and they communicated well. Thank you for a wonderful weekend! We’ll be back!

My partner, our dog, and I stayed here over the weekend for a short city break from London, and we had such a relaxing and enjoyable time. Sophie is a fantastic host, friendly and accommodating! The house is set in a peaceful location, perfect for walks, and just a 30-minute stroll from the charming little town. We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend it!

We had a fantastic stay at the Stonehouse. They were fantastic hosts. The place is filled with artwork and is truly stunning. Everything was as described and the location was fantastic. Being able to have a professional massage and then sit in front of a log burner in a beutiful home was simply amazing. We will be back. Thanks for your fantastic hospitality.

Katie was amazing! We booked to stay here the night of our wedding and couple of nights after, not only was she reachable at any point throughout our stay but also went beyond in helping us when we had an emergency and needed transport. So friendly and really easy going, nothing was too much to ask. The lodge is stunning and the pictures are exactly on point in showing the beautiful location aswell as the lovely interior. We didn’t want to leave and are already planning to book again!

We had a fantastic experience at Cathanne’s cottage. What a stunning place, with such warm and welcoming vibes. We have nothing bad to say, this is exactly what every Air BnB should strive towards. Thank you Cathanne for hosting us, and to Dooby for your welcoming tail wags!

Wir waren drei Tage in Braunston und haben uns in The Barn sehr wohl gefühlt. Janice hat uns in Empfang genommen und wir waren begeistert von der hellen und sehr gepflegten Wohnung. In der Umgebung kann man sehr schön länger spazieren gehen. Von Braunston aus ist Oxford und Birmingham gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Wir würden gerne wiederkommen.

Outstanding hosts. We were super happy to stay with them for a second time! The welcome basket was a really thoughtful gesture and the extra touches like robes and slippers were very helpful.

I can’t speak highly enough about this property and also Ashling, the Host. I arrived with my five-year-old daughter and we both loved the property. Ashling was an amazing host, not only personally checking us in, but also checking during our two day stay that everything was okay. Little touches like having a pint of milk in the fridge were just so incredibly thoughtful and also helpful. I will definitely be going back!

My son and his family had a wonderful time staying at Gardener’s Cottage. It was a cosy and comfortable place for them to stay in.

The stables is a well appointed Airbnb that worked really well for our family. We loved the in unit laundry and found everything we needed in the kitchen. We really appreciated the hosts providing us with the essentials, rubbish bags, toilet paper etc and we loved that they had bought fresh bread, milk and eggs for us. The location was great for walking to local parks and grocery stores. We had a great stay.

Geraldine’s place was perfect. Lovely and cozy bed was super comfy and the village had everything you need. I was actually gutted that I arrived after eating as there seems to be a lot of choice for food with the three pubs in the village. Geraldine is very friendly and unapproachable, not that I needed it but I got the impression that nothing would be too much trouble. I would happily book to stay here again. I would recommend it.

Miranda was an amazing host! The place is absolutely beautiful, so clean and looked after. She made us feel right at home. It was a lovely location with horses you could visit. She definitely went above and beyond to make our weekend amazing! She also accepted a hen party which many places don’t. Thank you so much Miranda x

Great stay lovely location very peaceful. Amazing communication throughout from Susan. Everything is thought of no step missed. The place kitted out with all you need and super clean. Would highly recommend if you fancy an off the grid break!

Had a lovely 3 night, warm and cosy winter stay in the loft. A great location to relax, read and explore nearby villages and jump the bus into Oxford. Anna and Jonathan were great hosts, who communicated well throughout.

We absolutely loved our stay at 'the Piggery' We could not have wished to stay anywhere better. The cottage was very well located for our visit to Leicester and the perfect place to come back to and relax after a busy day. It was spacious yet cosy and spotlessly clean. The decor was very stylish and luxurious with super comfy sofas. The hot tub was a welcome addition. Thank you Emma, you have created a beautiful luxury place to stay and we look forward to returning very soon on our next visit to Leicester.

Fionnyala's accommodation is beautiful. Quiet, alongside a lovely house and garden. Everything was just right for us, and immaculately clean. It was very well placed to get into the city, with frequent services into Oxford, just a lovely 5 minute walk up the private road. We used a badged guide to see the sights of the Oxford. That was a real treat, and the very best way to get the most out of our time there. It was easy to cycle around - Oxford is made for it. We had a lovely trip out to Abingdon along the river one day and chanced upon a fabulous Social Enterprise Bakery and Coffee shop called Proof. The queue outside the door was a testament to the quality within. Highly recommended.
