Our stay was unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by an incredibly friendly host, Rachel, who made us feel right at home. The location was stunning—peaceful, private, and surrounded by the beauty of nature. Watching the assortment of birds and kangaroos around the property was such a delight. The accommodation itself was immaculate and beautifully presented, with thoughtful details that went above and beyond. Everything we could have possibly needed—and even things we didn’t realize we did—was thoughtfully provided. It truly felt like a home away from home. This perfect retreat offered us both relaxation and connection with nature, and we were genuinely sad to leave. We can’t recommend this wonderful place enough and look forward to returning again in the future.

The view from the cottage is absolutely stunning - you’re looking out through the trees over a valley with a river below, so peaceful and quiet. They have some kayaks that you can use, and I paddled from the property down the river to the ocean mouth one day. Just keep in mind that it’s a tidal river, so don’t do my trick and be paddling back upriver to the property when the tide’s going out and the water’s against you. Because the cottage is high up on the side of the valley, we had a cool breeze blowing up the hill. We didn’t have any phone service at the property, so drove back into Eden when we wanted to make a call or send messages. The owners are lovely and are great with advice and helping with any requests. They gave us a pedestal fan when we got a bit warm. There are lots of great beaches and restaurants in the area. This is a great escape for a couple who want to to get back to nature and slow down.

My friends and I loved our stay at Numeralla. The cottage was the perfect place to unwind, wake up to bird songs, cook up a feast in the kitchen and bbq, enjoy many coffees on the verandah, have a fire, search for platypus, and go for a little wander. Ken and Gail were friendly, helpful and fantastic hosts!

beautiful location with beautiful views of the farmland and valley. 10/10 reccomend staying here. Leanne and Colin were very hospitable and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great holiday we had so much fun on the tennis court and in the pool. The house was immaculate, all bedrooms clean, comfortable and great sizes. The combined kitchen, dining room and loungeroom were perfect and functional with the massive very comfortable lounge able to fit us all :) Our pooches also had a great time running around the yard and swimming in the creek a short drive from the house

A most brilliant bush location, with beaches nearby. Jeannie was a wonderful host. You are part of their sublime home and property. Generous and kind in personality and the spaces you access. What a place! We stayed here for 2 nights with our little children and absolutely loved it. Driving through Australian farmlands to arrive at a gorgeous rustic cottage, it felt like a home away from home. We spent our time looking at the animals, riding our bikes, exploring the waterholes and enjoying the hot tub. It is a great opportunity to slow down, relax and enjoy each others company. The cottage was very well equiped, good cooking facility, comfortable beds, nice hot shower and bath and beautiful fire places. Although there is no airconditioning, the cottage actually remained quite cool considering it was a warm day in March. If you are considering booking this place, book it! You won’t be disappointed.

It was such a beautiful stay amongst the bush and near the ocean. Have stayed here before and it’s relaxed and low key accomm, perfect for those who want to respect the nature around them and live amongst it. The host are lovely, thanks to Pauline and Neil for lending us the kayak and canoe as well. Very hospitable.
