Samantha's house was an amazing summer break for me and the family. The house has a gorgeous view out over the town, is very light, spacious with a beachy feel. It is also extremely comfortable, absolutely spotless and very well equipped. We took advantage of Sam's excellent manual to go on a walk to Long Point lookout and eat at Bar Monti and Superette in town. Can highly recommend all of the above!

We had an amazing stay at Sue and Steve’s place in Merimbula! The house was super clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay with our baby and dog. The location was perfect - right by the lake and just a short walk to the beach and town. Sue and Steve were responsive and made us feel so welcome. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature, and we’d definitely love to come back. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a pet-friendly getaway!

The stay was perfect! We were travelling from victoria for a close family friend’s funeral and needed something to fit the whole family! This exceeded our expectations and made the weekend that little bit easier! Thank you would defiantly come back

Great place, dog friendly but clean, close to main street, lovely backyard for the doggies / firepit and all the little extras that add up- herbs etc which we of course contributed to.

We had the most lovely weekend in Pamela’s beautiful home. The gardens are incredible and the home is just stunning and very comfortable and clean. We felt at home right away. Pamela was a great host and gave us all of the information we needed for a great weekend away! I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Such a wonderful stay in this unique off grid boxhouse! A beautiful peaceful place, with incredible natural lighting and stunning views that allowed us to decompress, rejuvenate and connect with nature. The stocked supplies, the amenities, the stylish touches allowed us to feel right at home. A lot of care has gone into creating a warm and comfortable space. Great location to base at whilst exploring the sapphire coast. Liz was also a wonderful host, easy to communicate with, proactive with many recommendations and great hospitality! Looking forward to our next stay.

Immaculately Presented and Perfect for a Short Stay. This guest house is a hidden gem. It is thoughtfully designed and beautifully renovated, offering a cozy and comfortable stay. The big yard is perfect for those traveling with dogs. Jo provided thoughtful touches like bread, milk, eggs, and other essentials. A beautiful, compact kitchen with just a microwave and mini bar fridge, is good ideal for short visits, and nice to have a washing machine with dryer. The serene back porch is a peaceful retreat, and while neighboring properties are visible, the greenery promises to create more privacy as it grows. Secure parking at the back is another bonus. Just a short walk to Main Street and beach, being dog friendly, this is a wonderful and delightful place to stay, blending comfort, charm, and tranquility seamlessly. Highly recommend!

We had a very comfortable 2 night stay. Grateful we could have our dog with us. The deck at the front and enclosed yard at the back were very handy for us to sit with our pooch and enjoy the outdoors safely. Quality fitout and comfy beds with all quality amenities provided were most appreciated. We will definitely be back!

beautiful location with beautiful views of the farmland and valley. 10/10 reccomend staying here. Leanne and Colin were very hospitable and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great holiday we had so much fun on the tennis court and in the pool. The house was immaculate, all bedrooms clean, comfortable and great sizes. The combined kitchen, dining room and loungeroom were perfect and functional with the massive very comfortable lounge able to fit us all :) Our pooches also had a great time running around the yard and swimming in the creek a short drive from the house

Probably the best location possible between the ocean and the lake. Home facilities including the pool, barbie and everything you need, coupled with an amazing location for an easy walk to the beach and wharf. Ok it’s not 5 star in terms of brand new furniture, bathrooms and kitchen, but it is comfortable enough for an easy-going family holiday where you can easy wind down at home or outdoors. Peter was easy to reach, but we didn’t need a thing for the whole stay. We had a great time and would recommend for families with children. Thanks again Peter!

Been holidaying for years in Merimbula but this place stands out with it's water frontage and access to the town. Could sit out the front and gaze into the water whist watching the birdlife. Good paths/limited steps needed to get around making it suitable for those with limited mobility. Thanks to the host for a great holiday. PS ..can highly recommend the local oysters...yum

Place was really cozy and fully equipped for the remote area, which was really impressive for the price and location. Luke was friendly and made sure we had all the info we needed even though we a late check-in. We were able to find the place with ease, without much trouble. Would definitely recommend the place for anyone passing by needing of stay, however make sure you've made all arrangements regarding food, as this is more of a camping vibe and there's no local restaurants, cafes or even grocery store around.

Lovely location right near the boardwalk. Nice views of the bushland and water from the house. the pool was fantastic! The house is well stocked with kitchen utensils and supplies. Kelly super responsive and friendly when we needed to reach out to her. The only feedback would be that WiFi would have been great!! Thanks for a great stay

We loved the very spacious apartment which catered well for our needs. It was in a great location and so peaceful whilst being close to amenities and beaches. Our hosts were friendly and made check in easy. The pool was an added bonus to our accommodation. The kids loved the cubby house. Thanks Michael and Janet.

Colleen's place is great for families with dogs. Big TV, good internet, hot shower, and a brisk 8 minute walk to the beach, it was exactly what we wanted! And unlike some other listings, the house is *actually* dog friendly - if your dogs love sitting on the couch (like ours do), Colleen was perfectly happy to let us cover the couch with a couple spare sheets (which we brought ourselves). The only thing missing was a pantry - but we probably cook more than most visitors. Will definitely be back!

Absolutely delightful! Lovely host and spotless unit with absolutely everything we needed. Dog friendly which we appreciated and certainly hope to visit again soon.

We absolutely loved our time in Tathra. The house was better than expected, the photos don’t do it justice! We were two families and our pet dog. The kids shared the bunk room and adults each had a nice and comfy large bed in the two other rooms. The home was extremely well equipped with all the appliances we could possibly need, great quality and functional. Beds and linen were really comfortable and also great quality. We loved sitting out on the terrace in the evening watching the kangaroos hop past. Perfect for sunny and rainy afternoons with the large roof area. The house is in a great location being an easy flatish walk to the beach and town. Tathra is our new favourite place to holiday, we will be back!

My dog and I came to seem by retreat for a week to unwind after a very busy holiday season. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back! 🐶💛

Love Love Love Karens Place. Second visit and already planning another. We've said it all before. Truly a spectacular home in every possible way in and out. Karen is a special person to have created a haven in a very special and beautiful part of the south coast of N.S.W. It's always so hard to leave.

Great location, a delight to stay there. Great back garden to play croquet in.

A great property, close proximity to Tathra overlooking the bush. Very clean and comfortable. Tess was a fantastic host, responded quickly and was extremely helpful. A great place to stay just outside of the "hustle" of Tathra.

It is indeed a tiny house but it had everything we needed for a lovely stay. We enjoyed the peaceful setting and the views from the deck. It was so relaxing and highly recommended it.
