I took my two daughters and 4 grandchildren for a long weekend and we loved it. Fabulous location, amazing house, great facilities and amenities. Extremely relaxing and a great host.

The cottage is very well-equipped, with everything you need to rustle up a three course meal - plenty pots, pans, roasting tins, utensils and a huge six seater dining table. It’s really easy to organise supermarket deliveries but only a 10-12 minute drive (Carlisle) if you’d rather pick things up yourself. The location is absolutely beautiful, with plenty of great dog walks close at hand. If you’re feeling less energetic you can relax in the cosy lounge or sit upstairs in the seating area of the master bedroom with amazing panoramic views of the countryside (thanks to the floor to ceiling windows). Sharu was an absolutely lovely host - extremely responsive and ever so helpful, yet completely unobtrusive; allowing me the space to enjoy my stay. I would definitely recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to book again when visiting the area

Paul’s place in Amble was the perfect place to stay for our visit to Northumbria. The property is located in a peaceful residential estate within walking distance of the town centre and Harbour Village. On site parking, dog-friendly gardens and spotlessly clean, we loved everything that this property had to offer and we look forward to a return visit. Amble is a fabulous place. Great pubs, plenty of shops for the essentials and some great restaurants - especially The Old Boathouse where we enjoyed the best seafood platter that we have ever had.

Kirk Andrews house was a fantastic place to stay for a large group, we were four adults and five children. It was equipped with everything we needed, rooms were large & clean, bathrooms equipped with plenty towels & also toiletries. The pool table was an added bonus which the kids loved. For such a big house it was lovely & warm, the only criticism is the chairs & sofas which are well past their best and in need of replacing but this did not spoil our stay at all. The house is very private and surrounded by beautiful views on all sides, lovey walks all around too.

our family had a lovely four nights here over New Year. We made good use of the kids toys and board games. Kids loved the quirky bunk beds. Had a nice breakfast and dinner down in the town, and also a wonderful pizza takeaway. Made several great day trips to Alnwick, Simonside forest and Bamburgh castle. A lovely relaxing home, thank you very much to the hosts 💛

Can’t beat the location. The view is stunning, and the commercial center is less than a five minute walk. The house is as it is described and looks in the pictures. It is a cozy arrangement but well done. We did not spend much time at all indoors except to sleep and wash up so our priority was location, which this home definitely delivered. We would rent again if we were coming through North Berwick.

We loved staying in this property in Rothbury. Lots to do and see nearby and we loved visiting Cragside. The property was exactly as described and Andrew was very helpful with any queries we had. We would definitely visit again and recommend.

What a perfect apartment, ideal for our family, we found it to be even better than the listing suggested! Spotlessly clean with great quality furniture including beds, bedding, pillows and lovely thick towels. The kitchen was particularly well stocked, our 5 year old was delighted with the little boxes of cereals and such a treat to find a Selkirk Bannock too! Would definitely stay again, we had a lovely relaxing stay

This is a very comfortable apartment right in the heart of Corbridge with views over the church. It is well-equipped and has the advantage of a parking space.

This pad is FANTASTIC! If you're visiting Newcastle, look no further because this is the place! It is an excellent well laid out space with all the amenities you will need. The location can't be beat and it's right by the train station! We stayed for a week and felt so at home. It was quiet and comfortable for everyone. We plan to visit Newcastle in the future and will stay here every time! I will also add that, Neil, the host, is so friendly, funny, and kind. As Americans who have never previously visited Newcastle or northern England, he spent time talking to us and orienting us to the area and culture. We felt so at ease after speaking with him and are very grateful for the time he took to talk with us!

The Hayloft had everything I needed for a great stay, including little touches like filter coffee, shortbread and flowers when I arrived. It was really clean and beautifully presented. Joan was really helpful and responded quickly with great suggestions of places to visit. The food in the pub next door was good and the staff very friendly. The Hayloft is perfectly situated to visit lots of places in Northumberland, from stunning scenery, castles and houses, and coastal towns. I explored lots and then went back to the Hayloft to relax. I had a wonderful stay! Thank you!

We had a lovely stay in Wooler for the trail race weekend. Adrian’s house is perfectly located, just off the high street, and lovely. It’s beautifully decorated, the bedrooms felt like a real treat to stay in, and it’s very well equipped for family groups with lots of crockery, cooking things and all the things our young kids needed (high chair, travel cot, stair gates). There are a lot of stairs which mean it wouldn’t be great for people with limited mobility, but my parents in their 70s had no trouble at all. We would love to stay again, Wooler is a great place to visit if you like the outdoors.

The place was absolutely stunning. We were awestruck by the gorgeous interior. Visitors can expect a fantastic time staying in the accommodation. However, having a vehicle to travel is a must. There is parking available. Indoor heating (radiators) is provided in every room and common areas. Fireplace was used during our stay in the winter season. The host is very responsive and friendly. While the location provided is accurate. The drive up to the accommodation can erroneous as google map did not consider the closures at Forest Drive. Hence, it will be good to check with the host properly.

This house is stunning. Much larger than the photos suggest, extremely well equipped, very very comfortable and spacious and the perfect place for a large family gathering with no chance of anyone feeling they can't have any quiet space. So much space both inside and out. We took turns cooking the family meals in the wonderful kitchen. We definitely had a much needed family celebratory long weekend for a new baby due in December, two wedding anniversaries, 5 birthdays, a UK residency and hopefully a new job all happening in lock-down, plus a postponed wedding and to gather strength for an unexpected major operation. We loved it and only left the house on one occasion in order to make the most of the house! We will definitely be back to this wonderful special house and would highly recommend it.
