We walked in and the Christmas tree lights were on and Christmas music was playing. It was lovely. It's a beautiful home and very cozy. Having a bedroom and full bath downstairs makes a difference for many of us (young and older) who may have trouble navigating the stairs to the second floor. This location is nice and quiet yet close to all the essentials. I spoke with Dottie before our stay and she was very nice, helpful, and informative. Thank you again Dottie! My wife and I spent our first year anniversary in this wonderful home. We had a great time enjoying the fall colors and over looking the beautiful pond, especially in the morning as the fog broke. Within 15 minutes there were several grocery shopping options, restaurants, and breweries. Perfect balance of being in a quiet setting but having amenities nearby. Would recommend and hope to go back next autumn!

The house was an amazing location! We thoroughly enjoyed the sunrises & sunsets while grilling dinners in the evenings! The house was very clean and Robert was a great host. I mess him to ask if there was an axe on site. He responded that there wasn’t but that he would get firewood for us the next morning. It was so awesome to sit around the fire at night and hear the loons calling. It was very relaxing. We had to travel at least an hour to do the site seeing we wanted to do but we expected that. Overall was great and I’d recommend the house to others!!

Chris was very communicative from the beginning. Very peaceful and quiet place. Overall, our experience was amazing. We highly recommend Chris and his place, if you want to have great gateway.

This place was a small slice of peaceful serenity, exactly as described and pictured. It was immaculately kept, feeling brand new. The kitchen had a pleasant "pay it forward" vibe with items left by previous guests, which made it easy to contribute for future visitors. Although the house got cold on a snowy day (as others noted), one of the provided space heaters quickly warmed it to a comfortable temperature. I would definitely return for another peaceful weekend, and I imagine it would be even more amazing in the fall or summer.

My cousin and I spent a week at holly's house. We made our day trips from there. All the sights were easily and quickly accessible by car from there. Whether in the north, south, east or west of Maine. We enjoyed spending our evenings in a fully equipped house. From check-in to check-out, everything was uncomplicated. We really enjoyed our time there.

Just returned from a two nights stay at Robert’s. We both enjoyed our time there very much. Everything was just as described and we had everything we needed during our stay. We were even able to make a few easy meals to save on dining out which was helpful. Robert made some great suggestions on how to make the most of our time in the Boothbay area. We hope to return for another visit during the summer months.

This was our first stay in an Airbnb and it exceeded our expectations! The apartment was exactly as described and included everything necessary to make it the perfect “home away from home”! It is in a great location with restaurants, coffee shops, grocery store and Wilson Lake all within walking distance. Debi was a great host. She kept in contact with us before and during our stay, and quickly responded to all questions. We will definitely stay here again!

It was a great find! Jeff answered very quickly, and was very nice to have everything set for us. We were arriving late. The apt was clean and adorable. We usually stay at the Wilton Lake Inn and have to rent 2 rooms. This gave us a family setting with room for our adult son and us. Privacy for everyone. it was great to be able to have my family over for dinner instead of having to go out all of the time during our visit. Very convenient and close to Farmington for shopping and additional resturants. Unfortunately the weather was a bit wintery, and unable to go hiking or walking. A new little coffee shop. 2 very good little coffee shops in Wilton, had to patron both. They are both very nice shops and owners. We will definitely stay here again. Convenient, spacious, clean! You can't ask for better! Thank you Jeff for a lovely stay!

We had a wonderful stay. Pat was very responsive and helpful, the place was comfortable, quiet and perfectly located. It was easy to come and go and the island is idyllic. We loved our first visit to Maine!

Susan’s place was the perfect spot for our getaway trip! The location and views were amazing and only a short trip to Portland. The space was spacious and exactly as pictured. We would stay here again.

Robert’s place is amazing! If you’re looking for a place to feel at home, while away from home, then this is it! My brother & I are here for work & have stayed several different places so far we enjoyed staying with Robert so much, that we booked for another month.

This a beautiful spot! Tucked away from the roads and very quiet. The private lake access is great and the views are beautiful. So thankful we found this place!

Absolute perfect place to get away from everything, while still being close to all that Maine offers. The cabin has everything you could need and then some, and the view and proximity of the lake is breathtaking. Ouda was super helpful and friendly. This is one of the rare airbnb listings where the pictures and description match the reality (and then some because trying to capture what it's like to look at the lake as the sun comes up is impossible). We're already planning on coming back next year, 100% recommended!

We absolutely love staying here! We come back year after year and love the cozy Maine cottage feel to this place. The perfect relaxing vacation and will definitely return for more!!

Wonderful,private, well equipped cottage on pretty pond. Owners quick to respond to our texts. Relaxing hot tub and fantastic sauna! Many restaurants and breweries within a 30 minute drive. Book it ..... you won't wanna leave!

I had a wonderful 4 night stay at the lake house and couldn't have asked for a better place to spend the little getaway. It is beautifully located on the lake and has this huge window in the living room from which you have an amazing view. The house has everything you need, even washing machine and dryer in the basement. I would 100% recommend this unique place! Christine has been super helpful throughout my stay.

Our second time staying. Beautiful location, close access to the water. Thoughtful features inside. For wintertime stay the driveway was clear and we were able to keep very warm in the cabin, even on the coldest of days!! Tara is a responsive, kind and helpful host. Would definitely visit again!
