Heel fijn en mooi verblijf. Erg goed onderhouden en vlakbij Udawalawe om een safari te doen! Zeer vriendelijke mensen. Ook het eten was 100% in orde.

This beautiful cottage is small, and perfect for a small family. Since Nuwera Eliya gets a bit cold at night, the cozy bed rooms and the blankets provided by Thidasala came to our rescue. His father took care of us so well, since Thidasala was not in town when we visited. We appreciate that. The view from the room of the Gregory Lake is brilliant. The wifi is good. We had a small kitchen as well. The bathroom was clean and we had hot water. This place is perfect for a small family who wants to enjoy the city, and not be in the rush. Their hospitality was amazing. 5 star from me.

Wir waren für eine Nacht dort, um am nächsten Tag eine Safari zu machen. Diese wurde von den Gastgebern für uns organisiert und hat uns wirklich sehr gut gefallen. Sanduns Frau war sehr freundlich, hat uns ein bisschen die Umgebung gezeigt und spricht gutes Englisch. Am Abend hat sie uns ein super leckeres Curry gekocht. Das Zimmer ist auch sehr schön und man hat ein bequemes Bett zum schlafen. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Really nice room, comfortable (but squeaky) bed and cute bathroom. I had a really good night’s sleep before our safari. Don’t expect a cottage in natural surroundings - however it’s conveniently close to the junction where you arrive by bus. The host, Dasun, helped us get the best route for our further travels and it worked like a charm. There’s A LOT of competition on the safari market in Udawalawe and I’d argue he overcharges 25-50% though.

We had a wonderful stay here - peaceful and quiet away from the main road, and beautiful gardens to relax in. Dasun went above and beyond to be helpful, including sending on an extremely important item we had left behind! Great communication and a really kind and friendly host. Highly recommend 💜

My husband and I spent 3 nights here and felt super welcome by Sandun and his wife. One of the most friendly hosts we have had so far! (And we travel a lot.) Amazing tropical garden and cozy porch to spend lazy afternoons at. Delicious breakfast (included in the price) and option for a dinner (excl but very affordable). They also organized the safari for us and we were very happy with it (also better price compared to other providers such as GetYourGuide). The room/cottage itself is big and has the necessary things to stay safe and comfortable. Just be aware that it is a cottage in the middle of nature, therefore insects easily enter the room and the bathroom - there is a bed net though. Also, bring your own soap and shampoo. And keep in mind that the Wifi is not very reliable there (even from the eSIM), so do not plan a digital working. ;) Overall great value for the money! Recommended! :)

Ajith was an incredibly welcoming, accommodating, and hospitable host. From the beginning of our booking process to the moment we left, he was helpful and kind. He arranged drivers to and from Udawalawa, as well as a safari. He went out of his way to make us feel at home, including accommodating our dietary needs and wants. The food is made on site and is excellent, always served with a smile. I would recommend Ajith’s establishment to anyone passing through Udawalawa! Thanks for everything!

An excellent place to stay for safari. Such friendly and attentive hosts, with delicious dinners and lunches, and took care to make sure we would get the right bus when leaving despite being early in the morning. Organised the whole safari for us which was amazing, highly recommend this! Thank you for a great stay

The little cabana is located next to the main hotel and had a beautiful view. Everything was impeccable. All the staff were fantastic helping us with some useful local tips. We had a lovely time and would definitely recommend.

A lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings. Although tricky to find with the road up to the cottage being very steep it was worth the drive. Location is quite remote but the host could not have been more helpful and responsive with local recommendations. We also had a lovely tour of the plantation, amazing vanilla pods (just beware of the leeches!) Food was good and the setting for meals was beautiful, but there were a few stray dogs in the garden to be aware of. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you Maljini.

Flow Nature Cottages are an absolute gem!! What a brilliant location with breathtaking views over the Sri Lankan hills. If your just after relaxing or planning on pleasant walks around the surrounding areas during the daytime, then this place is defiently the place for you. If your travelling through Sri Lanka from Kandy to Ella then you must stop off at Haputale Railway station along the way to visit Flow Nature Cottages for at least a couple of days you won't be disappointed. The owner Chitra is a wonderful lady who makes you feel very welcome with her hospitality and kindness. Thanks again, Chitra for a memorable experience.

Wir haben eine Nacht in der Lodge verbracht und waren sehr zufrieden. Man wird sehr herzlich begrüßt und fühlt sich direkt wohl. Da wir erst gegen Abend angekommen sind, wurde uns direkt ein typisch sri-lankisches Abendessen frisch zubereitet und es hat fantastisch geschmeckt. Am nächsten Morgen haben wir eine halbtags Safari im Udawalawa National Park gemacht, die Hasith für uns organisiert hat. Alles lief einwandfrei ab, wir hatten tolle Stunden mit wunderschönen Einblicken in die hiesige Tierwelt. Versüßt wurde uns die Safari mit einem hausgemachten Frühstück, welches Hasith zubereitet und dem Fahrer mitgegeben hat. Es wurde vollumfänglich für unser Wohl gesorgt. Kleiner Tipp: die Safari und das Abendessen kann man in der Unterkunft leider nicht mit Karte zahlen. Aber auch hierfür haben wir eine Lösung gefunden. Hasith war sehr entgegenkommend und ist mit uns zum nächsten ATM gefahren, sodass wir Geld abheben konnten. Alles in allem ein toller Aufenthalt!

Ajith’s father Mr. Premadasa was very helpful and co-ordinating… He helped us out in preparing barbeque and responded to every query of us… We had a great stay and i would certainly recommend all to stay at this place when in Nuwara Eliya.

Lovely place to stay, beautiful view. There are some broken houses around it but the house itself is all clean and had all we needed. There are 3 bedrooms but one of the rooms is only accessible from a separate entrance, so we had to sleep an adult with a child in there as it felt slightly separate. Host was very welcoming and willing to meet us for check in/check out anytime with tea and coffee freshly made for us. Would recommend!

Our stay at this property was truly unforgettable! The location, perched on a scenic hilltop, offers some of the most incredible views we’ve ever seen. The atmosphere was peaceful and serene, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The property matched all the photos listed, and if anything, it exceeded our expectations. The stunning landscape and the beauty of the surroundings made our stay feel like a dream. While public transport options are limited, having a private vehicle is the best way to reach the property comfortably. Once there, you'll be able to fully enjoy the tranquility and breathtaking views. I highly recommend this property, particularly for families or groups seeking a peaceful retreat. We would love to return again in the future!
