Had a lovely escape at Fernmount. You felt very remote, and deep in the bush, but we’re a short drive to the conveniences of Bellingen. The kids had a fantastic time, hunting for frogs, possums and insects. Andy was a fantastic host, great communication through the whole process. It’s a lovely little slice of the world, and I hope to come back some time soon. Many thanks!

A beautiful stay amongst nature, Andy’s place is a true gem! Wake up to birds chirping, relax in nature and the beautifully decorated barn. There is a huge lawn with a private view of the forest, outdoor bath, and the barn itself is delightfully decorated with small touches.

Dear Ann (and Chris), thank you for hosting our large family. We felt right at home the moment we parked out front and you came to greet us despite the late hour. Thank you for sharing your beautiful and very loved home, stories and animals with us during our stay. You had everything in the house to make our stay comfortable and your recommendations were great. The family was all praises too. The glorious sunlight from the large windows, birdsong, Lara and Cash instantly put a smile on my face and I was in a happy place. Our boys especially loved your place and insisted I write you their message, "Hi, I am Shveta's son and I am 11 years old. I went to Valla Beach's top spot and to be honest I was really surprised at how well kept the house was. The house was huge and Ann (the owner of the house) was hospitable to me and my brother. Honestly, this was my best farm stay I'd ever gone to, and I have been to quite a few. Please stay at Ann's house. It is the best". We will be back :-)

Lovely place to stay. Lots of quirky displays! Power point near under cover carpark was very handy for our EV charger (we asked host first if it was ok to use it). Lots of wildlife and animals noises along with bird life and possums. I liked it but if you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs or get used to being amongst nature. Comfy bed. Spacious living areas. Camp creative a very short drive away. Most enjoable stay!

What an amazing place to stay. A great cabin to relax and reconnect with nature and yourself.

Chris is friendly, we felt at ease. The cottage exceeded our expectations, we were very comfortable, we would like to visit again. The surroundings are spectacular and quiet. Highly recommend!!

Idyllic setting, birdsong, just picturesque perfection. That’s on top of the lovely interior, comfy beds, beautiful linen, super comfy couch for movie watching. Deluxe. Thank you thank you.

It was a great experience in a unique property. Peta was a very good host and provided helpful information even for our travel to the property. She responded promptly to messages and was very pleasant. Overall we had a lovely stay.

We loved the serenity of Dale's beautiful little cottage, off the beaten path, quaint, beautifully and sympathetically appointed, we simply loved it. Shame about the power cut, which meant our two night stay became one night, but that was beyond the owners' control, and their prompt notification of their problem allowed us to find suitable accommodation elsewhere, at very short notice. Couple of tiny cleanliness issues, but nothing that spoilt our overall enjoyment. Highly recommended, if you value something a little off the beaten path. Oh, and our cocker spaniel just loved it too.
