We were visiting our children and grandchildren who lived a few blocks away from this lovely home, so the proximity was a key feature. In addition the yard was a real treat for the granddaughters to play in a safe and enclosed area with sufficient space to wear them out for their naps!!. The house itself was quite lovely, boasting multiple spaces for entertaining or just getting away from the group with a quiet book. The kitchen was very well appointed, far better than many of the homes we have visited with airbnb. The spacious bedrooms were very comfortably furnished,and everything was squeaky clean…the owner was very proactive, often checking that we had every amenity available to make our stay comfortable. We will certainly choose to visit again when we return for the next family gathering.

The place was great with a group of friends, even had leftover rooms.

We had a lovely holiday weekend in this spacious and well-furnished house. Our hosts were responsive and accommodating. We felt the house was set up beautifully and really had everything we needed for our large group. This place is a real gem and I highly recommend.

Erin is a great host and was in quick contact with us when we needed anything. A very clean, eclectic and comfortable place in a very cool Berkeley location.

A nice apartment. A big plus was that there were multiple power strips placed in the bedrooms and in the living room to easily plug in computers and chargers. Very good and comfortable beds. Good parking for the car. Despite a lot of traffic on the road outside, there was nothing that disturbed. A good accommodation.

I had a lovely stay. I work overnights and cherish quiet places like this. I almost can never sleep during the day without ear plugs and a noise machine. It was so peaceful! The hot tube and outdoor shower are amazing. The host was very friendly and responsive. They talked on the phone with me twice, once before I got there, and once after, but left me to my privacy. Honestly couldn't think of a single improvement. The house is clearly lived in and has everything you could think of. The bedrooms are older, but that's part of the charm. I spent most of my afternoons waking up on the deck or throwing the ball for my dogs. I wish I could stay here every time!

Gina’s place is a sanctuary. The views are absolutely stunning and you feel transported, like you’ve gone to a tropical paradise. Everything was spotless and beautiful and at the same time cozy. I could not recommend this place enough.

This is located in a quiet and nice neighborhood! You can sleep with the windows open without issues. Alexander is a very nice host and is always available when needed and has great suggestions and otherwise will fully respect your privacy in a very proactive manner. You can use the pool upon request which we have done a number of times. The unit is a standalone dwelling and therefore fully private. You can park in the driveway and have your own entryway. I enjoyed it very much and only didn’t stay longer as he was already booked for another 4 months!

This was such a restful and productive stay for me, and I felt like I was staying in a spa retreat! Beautiful Casita with all the comforts of home and a hotel! Melodie was so welcoming and helpful, and has put together a stunning space. Location and scenery was spectacular, tho also super close to everything! I was also very productive while remote working from the Casita. Bed was super comfortable, and kitchen was well appointed to cook --I never miss the Marin Farmers Market on Sundays! I visit the area regularly and will definitely stay here again!

This was a GREAT Airbnb. The location was fab- very close to a local coffee shop (2min up the road) and close to Whole Foods. If you’re coming in for work at Adobe, Zoom, or Deloitte, this is a perfect location- less than 10 min to the office in a home where you can cook, chill, great backyard and fruit trees out front.

Serene is the perfect word to describe this property. It was refreshing and quiet. We would love to come back

I really enjoyed staying here. Rebecca was always there if I had a question. Great hikes near by. It was perfect for what I needed. Was able to work during the day, hike at lunch. Her place had great water pressure and good hot water. Loved the kitchen and large fridge. I slept great on her bed. It was a single style mattress on planks. So comfy. I have back issues and loved it. It was pretty peaceful. She has a really nice piece of property. She has 2 bnbs that back up to each other both attached to her home. I never heard the other guest or Rebecca. Very well insulated. Overall I would most definitely stay here again.

Everything about my stay was easy, booking, check-in checkout. The home was very clean and quiet. The neighborhood was quiet and I felt very comfortable walking my dog. I would recommend Tina’s comfy cottage to anyone staying in the area.

We had a great stay at Stephen's place. It was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. It is in a walkable area with easy access to restaurants and shops. Our kids (ages 6 and 3) loved staying in the trundle bed. And Stephen was proactive in providing helpful instructions and was easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again on a future visit to Alameda.

We enjoyed our stay at Mel’s place! Short walk to the beach. The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen came equipped with everything you might need to cook. Mel was very responsive to any questions we had. Nice place to stay while visiting the area!

Joy’s place was absolutely fantastic. The room was peaceful and tucked away in a really serene backyard. The backyard is fenced and our pups were happy to explore. Joy was an excellent host, very accommodating, and extremely helpful. We would recommend her place to everyone.

This was definitely the best airbnb I've found in the area! The space was private and comfortable. Plenty of clean towels, toilet paper, and paper towels (a surprising annoyance of mine with stays other places!). Responsive host. Helpful instructions. Felt right at home in the space. Clean and tidy. Comfy bed, pillows (actually 4 of them, thank you!), and overall temperature of the apartment. Easy check-in and check-out. One thing to note is that it is conveniently located across from bart station, so there is some noise associated with that, but you ARE in the city, so there's that. It didn't really bother me, just something to note if you're a light sleeper (but the bed was so comfy, it didn't phase me much!). I stayed for 12 days, and it was perfect for my needs. I would definitely stay again! Thank you!!

This place was gleaming clean when we arrived. It looked better than the photos. The little yard was perfect for my dog, who came with me, and so was the sweet neighborhood--an easy place to walk him several times a day. The rooms are good, closet space, etc, fine. The kitchen is quite lovely. We added some things to make it more useful for us, and the hosts were very helpful there too, and accepting of our needs. I was there for surgery at Stanford and friends came to help me, so it was really nice to have the spaces the way it's laid out--with privacy in bedrooms and good common areas, a nice couch, and dining table, and two bathrooms. It suited our needs very well and the hosts were super. The area is much louder than where I'm from--a very rural place, but the sounds of life were pleasant and there are many birds in the trees. It's nice to sit on the patio in the sun. They even fixed the side door to make it easier for us. They were great.
