Beloeil : locations de vacances

One of our favourite places to stay when we ski in the Eastern townships. Sophie is a great communicator and always quick to response when an issue arises. Plus we like the basement living room since our golden retriever will not do stairs. The heated floor in the entry is a bonus and the mud room has plenty of space for both of us and two larger dogs.

Très beau séjour de 3 nuits pour terminer la relâche entre amis, 4 adultes et 2 enfants. Yoann a été très proactif et m’a transmis toutes les informations utiles pour profiter pleinement de notre séjour. Le chalet est très confortable pour 6 personnes et bien équipé. Il y a tout ce qu’il faut pour cuisiner et c’était très agréable d’y passer nos soirées. Plusieurs activités hivernales à faire à proximité et le spa pour relaxer en fin de journée a été très apprécié de tous. Le chemin et le stationnement était très bien déneigé et le coin est très tranquille et paisible.

We stayed at this lovely location for our first family ski trip - 3 young kids and grand parents. Lots of space for everyone to relax. The location is great, a short walkable distance to the water park, easy to get to the magic carpet to zip the kids to the chair lift and off to ski school. The beds were very comfortable and linens soft! Made for a perfect landing spot after a busy day.

We arrived during a power outage following Hurricane Debby's visit to the area. It was pitch dark and scary quiet. Dave was prompt the next morning with bottled water and water for flushing (water supply to the cottages is by electric pump on the property). We did not do much of the kayaking and canoeing we thought we would as it the weather was a bit windy and unpredictable. We just wanted a quiet place to bunk down after doing some exploring in the area during the day, and it was perfect for that. And, we saw the Perseids on Saturday night through nearly light-pollution-free skies!

Sandra’s place was as described with beautiful surroundings. It was located on Lac Brôme a little ways away from the closest town, but very easy to find. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this is the place. We had some difficulty with our car rental the first evening we were supposed to be there and Sandra offered to leave lights on and have the place warm for us. Unfortunately we weren’t able to arrive until the next day, but I appreciate Sandra’s responsiveness to our situation. Just one bit of information if you do rent - the beds upstairs are infinitely more comfortable than the one on the main floor.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. I’m unsure why I didn’t picture the lake being covered in snow for a February stay but it certainly was. Which didn’t ruin our stay at all as the view was still beautiful. The house is beautiful and looks exactly like the pictures. I would have liked if the deck was completely shoveled so we could go outside with tea some mornings but I guess with how much snow there was this was not feasible. The hot tub only got warm to me even at 105 degrees it wasn’t burning hot just rather warm. I think that’s simply due to how cold it is in Quebec. The house layout was different I’m not accustomed to sleeping on different floors from my children so that was an adjustment. I checked on them multiple times throughout the night. Lastly we were presented with an offer to extend our stay at a discounted rate but did not hear back from the host as he was traveling, which seemed like a missed opportunity considering how much we enjoyed the space. Claudine's lovely Chalet is between a lake and the P'tit Train du Nord piste. The Cottage is tastefully furnished, and spotless. Claudine was a charming and responsive host. We're grateful for your wonderful welcome !
