We needed a cosy and comfortable cottage to stay in for a relaxing break, with great places to eat, easy access to local amenities and plenty to do should we fancy a day out. Beatrice Cottage was the perfect solution. Immaculately clean with everything you need and a very warm welcome from Grace we had a wonderful short break. With the beach only 5 mins away this is an accommodation for any time of the year.

Wonderful, comfortable Cottage, right on the beach. We brought our dogs and had some great walks - and had no trouble finding a lovely pub two doors down! Excellent holiday stay.

This is the second time we have stayed at here and it was perfect yet again! Excellent location, super comfy bed and had everything we needed! We hope to come again!

Words cannot describe how amazing Simone is and her gorgeous retreat. I took my Dad away for a little trip away as he is rather poorly and the original place I had booked was appalling! So bad I refused to stay. Thinking I'd have to take my Dad back home as finding somewhere suitable for his needs is slim picking, never mind on an August Friday night at 6pm, last weekend of the summer holidays. Nevertheless, after refusing to give up I found this gem, both in Simone and her retreat. Just what we needed . Simone went above and beyond from the second I placed the booking, she rang me straight away, said she would met us there, she had the retreat warming through for us, lights on and made us feel absolutely at home. So much so I had to give her a hug. The whole experience from start to finish was 10 star. The place is beautiful, the views are outstanding, area is perfect. My Dad is dying to go back already. And I can't wait to take him. See you soon x

Absolutely lovely lodge in a great location to explore Northumberland. Grandparents staying and a grandchild to amuse for a few days. The pub and site is very friendly. The lodge is very cosy. Has everything you need for a homely stay. Perfectly sited next to the lake. Was visited daily by the swans and geese which the granddaughter loved. The hot tub was amazing to end a busy day visiting tourist spots. Diane the host was easily contactable should we need her, which we didn’t as everything was as stated. Would definitely recommend. Thank you Dianne. Look forward to staying again.

The whole process was great. Check in was smooth, the lodge was wonderful , clean, spacious and so comfortable. Everything we needed. Great location. The hot tub was wonderful. Would recommend every time.

We had a lovely stay and our pooch loved it also. It was warm and welcoming with lovely views. The hot tub was a great place to star watch. We hope to visit again

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Debra’s apartment. It is even more spacious than pictures portrayed. The apartment was extremely clean, tastefully furnished & all necessities provided. Debra’s instructions were clear & easy to follow. The waterfront is at the end of the road and from there it is a quick stroll into Seaham. We have friends living nearby and look forward to returning & staying in this wonderful apartment.

We had a lovely, peaceful and restful time. The nearby village of Morpeth is really lovely and packed with interesting shops. The coast is lovely too. We had our poorly doggy with us so spent a lot of time at the property. It really is lovely, well maintained and very peaceful. We needed the rest and that is exactly what we got. Carrell was on hand if we needed her, which we didn't. Highly recommended and well well worth what we paid. We will hopefully go back for a longer stay in the not too distant future.
