They were very helpful and accommodating. I’ve never seen a kitchen that had everything that you could possibly need. I would definitely recommend staying here and enjoying the north country!!

Westwood is a rustic and beautiful home on a large, private lakeshore lot. Richard and the lodge management staff were very friendly and ensured we had a great stay. Had an amazing visit and would highly recommend it!

Lovely cabin. Clean linens, bathrooms, full size kitchen, living room. The fireplace in winter is an added benefit. Nice location close to Bemidji and Buena Vista ski resort. Great family get away. Though the restaurant isn't open in the winter, the pool and store have limited hours for use.

Great place, location, view, amenities! Had a little issue with the keypad dying and Brian came right over and gave us a key to during our stay. Bathroom and interior doors could use a little work, but other wise nice place. Clean! Will be back!

Mitchell was quick to answer any and all questions. We Rented a pontoon from him to hang out on the lake, enjoyed a campfire with neighbors we met, and the outdoor room was so enjoyable to hang out in with the large screen doors and breeze. It was a nice little get away and would recommend it.

It was lovely staying at Mitchell’s cabin over a weekend stay with my husband. Very rustic cabin feel but with electricity, an indoor bathroom, and a small kitchen, which my husband and I enjoyed. Excellent place to have a “base camp” of sorts with us doing day trips to the nearby Lake Bemidji and Itasca state parks. Very nice to start up and wind down the days with a walk out on the dock or just listening to the call of the loons in the mornings and evenings. The weather was fantastic as well which led to great stargazing for the Perseids meteor shower and surprise northern lights appearance. Definitely would recommend and stay again!

Other than a couple of very minor things that Mitchell addressed immediately, our stay at his cabin was everything we had hoped for. Quiet, peaceful, relaxing, friendly neighbors & pet friendly (which was awesome). There was no TV, but that didn't bother us in the least. We were pretty much only in the cabin to eat and sleep. We had a good view of the lake from the cabin and were a short drive from many fishing lakes. The lake the cabin is great for fishing as well. Highly recommended. We would definitely stay there again.

if you are around Bagley MN and want a peaceful camping out style experience but with a comfy cabin (heat, A/C, bunk beds, electricity) this is the place! Just be aware there is no running water with this cabin. Wonderfully clear signage and hiking trails galore!

This place was located very close to the event we were attending, the host has a bit of an issue with the house and was in contact immediately and we were able to get the issues sorted out without any disruptions to the travel plans. Great host !

I was a bit skeptical at first, but thought, never judge a book by its cover, and I’m glad I didn’t. If you need peace from that busy, crazy life of city and towns, you love sounds of nature and listening to wildlife, this is your place. I have sensory when it comes to noises, and not having to hear constant noises from cars, people, sirens, etc. best place to recollect yourself and get back into your own mind. Mitch was great at responding quick, and had suggestion when needed. I will definitely be back, also, privacy is essential for me, and that is exactly what I got. Thank you!
