The cottage and location are beautiful, and the hot tub was a great addition that my son really enjoyed. Grant was always quick to respond to messages and was friendly and helpful. If you're planning on spending evenings in, it might be worth bringing some entertainment options (e.g. DVDs, games) as the TV is fairly dated with no apps, and wifi is slow. We had a lovely stay and really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay at Coleman’s Retreat. We were a group of two families - four adults, four kids and two dogs - and had plenty of space. The living area is just beautiful and the bedrooms spacious. The hot tub really made the stay for us (it was very cold February weather!); it’s very large and over looking the garden, fields and horses. Ashley was very helpful, quick to respond and booked our ferry tickets at a great discount.

We had a lovely stay at Jane’s lodge, the hot tub was amazing and helped us totally relax. We had a car so was able to go out and explore. However there was also plenty to do within walking distance. Highly recommend Jane’s place

Really relaxing, comfortable and peaceful. Superb decking area and private garden area. Lots of places to visit and the setting is lovely. In fact, met all our expectations and more! Really pleasant stay in sumptuous surroundings. Outstanding host!

My family and I enjoyed a superb week at Haviland cottage, celebrating the New Year. The cottage itself is spacious, clean and with everything you need for your break. Although it was a bit too cold and wet to make use of the garden, we made full use of the hot-tub, which is emptied, cleaned and refilled after every guest. The cottage is a 10-min walk to the delightful town centre / beach of Ventnor, where there are plenty of shops and pubs and restaurants to provide supplies and entertainment. Lots of lovely local walks and within easy drive of everywhere else on the island. Host Alan was incredibly helpful and responsive, providing discount codes for the ferry and flexibility for check-in time. Highly recommended.

We loved staying at the cottage! It was perfect for our family and had all the things we needed for our kids. It felt very private and peaceful. We were able to check in early and there is just so much to do on the Isle of Wight as a family (even in the winter). The beds were comfy and the floors had heating in the kitchen! It was a dreamy holiday!

The converted stable has been finished to a very high standard and is absolutely beautiful. Fabulous bathroom with a lovely roll top bath as well as an excellent shower. Kitchen finished to a very high spec with all needed utensils in place. Bed was extremely comfortable with great quality pillows & duvet. The hot tub was the icing on the cake, which we enjoyed every day. We were lucky enough to see two red squirrels when out walking early in the morning as well as a barn owl 🥰

Lovely little cottage. Really cosy and plenty of space. Great pubs nearby all in walking distance, and some lovely walks too. Great place to take the dogs! Thank you for such a lovely break!

Anne-Marie was a brilliant, accommodating and communicative host. We had a lovely stay in her very clean, functional and cosy annex cottage. She was great at making sure we were comfortable and on hand for any questions. A super host. Thank you !

Estuary Cottage was the perfect sanctuary for a couple of days. Tucked away on the edge of the estuary it was ideal for exploring the local area. The property was a great size for my parents and I - it had every thing we needed and was lovely and clean, warm and quiet. Susie was really quick to reply with recommendations for the ferry. I would absolutely recommend for anyone wanting a peace and calm. The Red Lion pub was a short walk through the field and was perfect for an evening drink / dinner.

Had to move myself and two small dogs out of my home at quite short notice for some works to be done. Found this beautiful little cottage in the grounds of a family home on the Goodwood estate that looked perfect. Small, private and secure enabling me to set up to work within a few minutes of arriving. Carol was super flexible, enabling me to move in over my lunch break and provided easy to read instructions for a seamless move. The place was just as described and spotless. A welcome basket was provided with local bread, butter and conserves, chocolate and biscuits, as well as, should you need them, lots of ideas for local places of interest to view. The dogs and I had a thoroughly rested stay, was able to work without interruption and were able to enjoy the secluded and private garden with some friends who came to visit. It was lovely to be met at the gate most days by two friendly hens. The cottage represented exceptional value for money and I would highly recommend.

Peaceful location, annexe equipped with all necessary amenities, great place to stay and lovely location . Slept well , owners very friendly and responsive.

What a lovely place this is. Clean, comfy and has great views. Jasmine was quick to reply if we needed any assistance and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

We had a lovely stay - lovely house, very comfortable and easy to live in - home away from home! It would have been nice if we could have checked in earlier (4pm felt very late) and checked out later (10am is very early) but apart from that we had a great time and I would recommend the cottage for those wanting a relaxing stay in a beautiful area. It was a bit further away from the beach than the photos suggest but walk is pleasant and the beach beautiful.

Such a cosy house and beautifully presented

A lovely cottage, with very cool furnishings and overall style. It's a little cold, a little small, and perhaps lacking in modern conveniences, but with a cottage of this unique nature that's not what you're going for anyway. The cottage is a little awkwardly placed on the corner of a main road, but its not particularly busy, and the wider location (Godshill, Niton, Ventor) means there's lots of the IoW's best bits only a few minutes drive away. Def worth a visit if you like staying in more unusual, aesthetically-pleasing buildings.

Fantastic location, we visited in Feb but will be back for sure in the summer! Lovely modern space, with a decent central location to most of the island. We will be visiting again soon!

Thank you Kate for a glorious weekend stay for our babymoon. It was the perfect setting, very relaxing and beautiful with loads to do in the surrounding area, topped off by some stellar sunshine this weekend!

We had a lovely stay here, the house had everything you could want, epically with young children. Could’ve have asked for anymore.

What we loved: - Amazing location. Rowlands has great facilities, nice pubs, cafe, a shop and lovely walks. - The property has stacks of character, it’s really beautiful. We really enjoyed the fire. It was just a gorgeous place to rest and be. - Good amenities - coffee machine, smart TV, well equipped kitchen. - The cottage was very clean and warm (we stayed when it was very cold outside). - Good shower. - Very comfortable beds, good quality linen. - Good communication from hosts. - As someone who is terrible at parking I would dispute other reviews that say you can’t park - you just need to turn right into the road and reverse back. Small suggestions - The window in the bathroom really needs privacy film. - For the price point the welcome basket is a bit light, would expect milk & small bottle of shower gel & shampoo. But overall a wonderful stay and we would stay again.

We had lovely time this July in Bembridge. Fintray Cottage was close to the beach and also close to Bembridge village centre. We thoroughly enjoyed the big garden it came with. The house has a large kitchen, ideal for a big family or for the occasion of entertaining guests. Will definitely recommend.

Lyn and Chris are extremely friendly hospitable hosts. They are there when you need but never intrusive and they both deserve all the fab comments 😊 the cottage was spotless and luxurious. Very high spec, from Molten brown toiletries to the lovely smelling Jo Malone diffuser. With the sauna you could think you’re in your own mini spa. Lyn has thought of everything, even down to the hot pasties each morning and the extremely well stocked fridge and kitchen . Everything you could wish for and more. We loved the sunny bench at the end of the garden, the grounds and wildlife. We had such a great time. Even coal for a bbq. Really everything you could possibly need. We highly recommend and we will definitely be back. Thank you for making our break amazing and best of luck to both of you 🥰

This is a high quality well cleaned, equipped and maintained cottage with everything clean and new. Especially helpful for us was the secure and handy bike stand Glyn had built round the corner. The location is perfect for cycling and walking with quiet lanes, paths from the cottage to the downs and the sea, and with a superb village shop and pub a short walk away. So it was perfect for our short holiday. Glyn was very helpful with our discounted ferry tickets and Vanessa concerned we had enough bedding. The cottage is very secluded with trees all around. There is a lovely patio area but it only catches the sun for a short while in the afternoon. But you can see the stars in the dark night sky through the skylight. Lovely place!
