What a magical place! We absolutely loved our stay here and already dream of coming back. The inside is soooo beautiful and comfortable that we didn’t mind staying in on rainy days. We could never get sick of watching the sheep roaming the hillsides or the ever changing coast from the fabulous sunroom. The only downside is we were unaware of the time involved to bring the wood-fired hot tub up to temp. It takes an hour to fill with water and “up to 3.5 hours to heat in the winter”. Since we can’t leave the fire unattended, we weren’t able to enjoy it until our third night since we arrived home so late on the previous nights. It is also very hard to find in the dark and the pin led us to the wrong spot. Google Mapsing the house name took us to the right spot, but we arrived in the dark and were unable to see the sign to the bottom right of the gate. Everything else was completely perfect and we highly recommend staying in this lovely place.

Everything was truly perfect. All facilities, including heating, hot water, and electronic devices, worked perfectly without any issues. I absolutely loved the size and layout of the studio. The dishes, cooking utensils, and interior decor were thoughtfully arranged, reflecting such exquisite taste. I especially appreciated being able to experience items from local businesses on the Isle of Skye. The single-track driving guide was extremely helpful for a foreign traveler like me, and I thoroughly enjoyed staying up late reading Hidden Scotland magazine available at the accommodation. I also loved how close the studio was to the Talisker Distillery, one of my favorites. On the last day, after checking out, I visited Talisker Bay Beach, and it was an unforgettable experience. Thanks to this beautiful and cozy studio, I had a truly happy trip. I really hope to visit again before too long. Thank you so much!

We loved our stay at Beams. The panoramic views of the ever changing skies are just stunning. Sunrise and the starry skies were definitely highlights of our stay, alongside the viewing of Eagles and a herd of Red Deer. The space is comfortable, warm and the whole place just fills with fantastic light when the sun shines. We loved the layout, furniture, comfortable beds and the home was well equipped with everything you would need. The only thing missing was a bath or hot-tub but the setting and views are the real star of the show and this is one of the best Airbnb's we have ever stayed at.

If you want some time to yourself in unbelievably beautiful surroundings staying in lovely accommodation you need to book Granny Mary’s with Wendy. Loved the way Wendy runs her place with clear, concise instructions and friendly communication that left us to ourselves once we were in. Couldn’t recommend enough. Thank you for a wonderful week.

Joan was super responsive. Although her instructions were limited to 2 pages, she answered any question I had within minutes. The area is lovely and she recommended The Brewery, which is a great restaurant with a wide selection of beers brewed on the premises. She also recommended a local weaver, which was a highlight of our stay. The house had what we needed. The heating boost was easy to use.

Wonderful stay. Well situated to expore North and South UIst, with lovely cafe, fish shop, and wool shop, within easy access. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Very thoughtfully, and tastefully, furnished and equipped. Lovely views of the loch, and very entertaining sheep wandering by. Robin and Michelle couldn't have been more helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our break in their beautiful cottage.

Beautiful little home in a stunning remote location. On our first day we were treated to views of white tailed eagles soaring above the Loch from the big picture window. Debbie had great recommendations for where we could eat out, even out of season, and was very quick to respond and helpful when needed.

Iain is a very nice and friendly host, he gave clear instructions that helped us find the chalet easily, and getting in to the chalet was also easy. It was very clean and well equipped. It is located in a very quiet and peaceful area.

Catherine was a lovely host, receiving my girlfriend and I with a warm welcome. She was very helpful and responsive to any questions, concerns or requests we would have. Her space was beautifully decorated, and neatly organized, providing us with many amenities to make our trip that much more enjoyable.

Island hospitality and generosity at its best. The place was well stocked with everything we needed and extra. Lovely touches of shortbread, fruit, milk and breakfast cereals. Central to Tarbert perfect for exploring both North Harris and the south. A very comfortable spot for 2. Well 3 including the dog. Thanks for a lovely stay will book again.

The views from our living room during our stay in Dunvegan were absolutely amazing. Jennifer was always available to help us if we had any questions. i fully recommend this location to anyone who is thinking of staying in Dunvegan.

A Truly Magical Stay on the Isle of Skye. This place is a perfect blend of the majestic and the deeply comforting—a haven where we felt both enchanted and completely at home. We highly recommend this gem! After long days of exploring the green, velvety hills of Isle of Skye, this Airbnb was the perfect home away from home to rest our travel-bones bones with a deep, luxurious bathtub that beckoned us to soak and the heated tile floors throughout. Diana even generously stocked the fridge with sourdough bread, eggs, and coffee. The highlight of our stay was the flowery gardens, babbling brooks, and exclusive access to a hidden beach bungalow. With two comfy beach chairs and a wood-burning furnace, it quickly became our favorite spot to enjoy breakfast and dinner in tranquility. Diana and Alan, were the epitome of hospitality, welcoming us with warmth and kindness, especially as an LGBTQIA+ couple, this meant the world to us. They are lovely. We are already dreaming of our return.

Beautiful, peaceful spot off the beaten path — couldn’t imagine a better place to stay for my first time to Skye. Takes a bit to get most places, but it’s so worth it to stay in this wonderful home (clean, spacious, private) with a spectacular view from every room! Rosie is a terrific host, extremely friendly and made me feel right at home. She had some eggs, bread and fruits waiting for me after my long drive up, which I found to be a special touch. Her dogs and cat are sweethearts as well! 100% recommend.

It was fabulous: the appartement, the surroundings, the view from the apparentment window. Lita and Carol spoiled us with a stuffed fridge with all kinds of local scottish food to discouver. And if we had a question they responded immediately. The best place we’ve ever been.

We very much enjoyed our holiday in Sheena‘s cottage. It was perfectly equipped for our stay and the view is absolutely spectacular. We hope to return!

Lovely studio to use as a base to explore the Isle of Skye. We had a great time over three nights and had everything we needed. It was very clean, well equipped and warm. Mary Flora is a delightful host. We have no hesitation in recommending this listing. Ps foreshore walk nearby is worth doing.

Karen and Phil were helpful and a delight. Their place was cozy with an easy-to-use wood burning stove, large bathtub and shower along with all the washing and kitchen amenities you would expect. Beautiful back garden and two excellent eating establishments within walking distance.
