We loved the quiet serenity of Sara's place. The acorn woodpeckers were out in the trees to greet us in the morning and the views from the deck were of misty mountains and ancient trees. The space was beautifully appointed and comfortable, with all the utensils and cooking needs we could require. Sara greeted us in person to show us around and ensure that we had a good stay. I would definitely come back to this haven.

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay! The surroundings were perfection! The home was cozy but plenty of space to spread out with 2 adults, 2 kids and our Goldendoodle. We had an amazing time and would absolutely stay here again.

We had a peaceful and restful stay at Johnna’s place. The home is located in an isolated area among the trees. There is not much to do in the area and it rained our entire stay. However we were content to stay inside and relax. There are games and books available. The tv and wifi service are spotty but that’s to be expected being so far out. The home is comfortable and cozy. And we had plenty of space and everything we needed. We would highly recommend Johnna’s home.

If you are looking for an escape, this is the perfect spot! Dena & Craig are great hosts with the perfect cabin to enjoy the quite beauty of the Lost Coast. The unobstructive view took our breath away and was exactly what we needed. Their cabin was perfect for the two of us, they kitchen was well appointed, and we cooked almost every day of our 5-day trip. We were able to enjoy dinner on the patio with stunning ocean view and sounds. We brought in most of our food for the week, but the general store had a great verity and had reasonable prices. We went to Gyppo Ale Mill twice and had an awesome meal and service. We also tried the cheeseburger pizza from Delgada and it was delicious! We enjoyed morning walks on near by Black Sand Beach and watching the seals and sea lions at the various lookout points around town. The beds had very comfortable mattress and pillows, we could enjoy the smoothing sound of the ocean waves from the front bedroom. I could go on, but out of space! Stay Here!

This is our 3rd time staying here. The hosts are incredibly responsive. The cookies are amazing. The location is epic.

We had a great time with our family. The photos don’t do justice to how beautiful this view is from the house. If we are ever in the area again we will default to staying here.

Absolutely stunning house in a gorgeous location with near-panoramic views of the ocean! The area is lovely, very quiet and walkable. Most importantly, Aaron was a wonderful host and very communicative.

Our stay here was great, it was a very stocked airbnb and was clean and perfect to bring the dogs. It has a great deck that we all loved sitting on. Beautiful view of the ocean and the fog settling in the valley was lovely. There’s a bit of road noise but not too bad. It’s right next to the little market and only a few minutes from tide pool and the beach. We would definitely stay here again. The last 30 min into shelter cove is quite the drive though so be aware! It’s very steep and windy. Vacasa was great to deal with as well.
