The place is as advertised. While it could be cleaner, it's not too bad. The furniture is in good condition, which adds to the comfort. The smart TVs are a nice addition, but unfortunately, none of the apps (DSTV, Netflix, Showmax) were working. Access and entry procedures are simple and straightforward. The host’s communication was excellent—responsive and helpful throughout the stay. Checkout can be a bit challenging for a family with kids, but it's understandable. Overall, I had a good experience and would definitely go back.

The place was great, even better than the pictures. All the amenities listed were available and so much more. It’s a dream for young kids, because of the large pool and yard space to run around. The communication was great, all our questions were answered very quickly. The place was spotless and remained so for our entire stay. It truly felt like a home away from home. Definitely recommend 10/10

Lovely apartment overlooking a good beach where you can safely swim, nice pool area, secure building. Easy walk to both the nature reserve one way and the busy village area the other. Lots of food options. We enjoyed our stay.

I recently stayed at a fantastic Airbnb in Kloof for a work trip, and it exceeded all my expectations. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, which made my stay smooth and stress-free. The place was spotlessly clean and maintained to a high standard. It was also very comfortable, providing a peaceful environment to relax and recharge after long workdays. All the amenities in the unit were up to standard, ensuring I had everything I needed for a productive stay. I highly recommend for anyone traveling to Kloof for work or leisure.

Hi Wayne, accommodation was fantastic thank you. close to the pools and the beach access. Unit was neat and clean. We will definitely be coming back and bringing the little girls so they can play on the slides and pool.

Nice and tidy , close to all the lovely restaurants and shopping centres , chilled night life and safe area . The apartment had pretty much everything one would require for a stay . Good host .

Shirley Ann was an amazing host! The place was impressive and extremely neat. The area is safe and amazingly beautiful. Checking in was absolutely seamless. Shirley Ann was so welcoming and always responsive. The place was super pet friendly and accommodated my German Shepherd very nicely. I would definitely want to book again!

What an amazing getaway - absolutely stunning views, walking distance from the beach and near amazing restaurants and shops. We had our toddler and our senior dog with us, and both of them enjoyed it thoroughly. Felt like home away from home. Will definitely be going back 😀 thank you Margriet for being such an amazing host.

Janne's place really is a home away from home. The cottage is peaceful and surrounding by a wonderful garden that overlooks some of the best parts of Durban. We didn't want for anything, the kitchen was well stocked with essentials, the bed was large and comfy, the internet was fast, the aircon is very effective and the cottage was very easy to lock up and go. I highly recommend this spot when in Durban and will be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, love Hajra who really takes good care of the place. Marian is always checking in and keeps us updated. This is our third stay and will be returning. Thank you Marian and Hajra.

Place was exactly as described. A perfect place to rest a mere 10min drive away from Durban central. WiFi was exhausted on day 1 with my 3 children. I like to try new places. But Matt's place is a safe bet so will probably return. High 5 Matt.

Mark's place is awesome - very quiet complex, well maintained and the gardens are lovely. The apartment has everything you might need (except an air-con) although that did not bother us too much as we prefer the fresh air. Mark provides emergency lighting for the load-shedding, and although there is no inverter the ambiance of the quiet complex and balcony overlooking the gardens gives us city slickers time to reflect. Overall lovely place we were very happy.

I have booked places for celebrations and nothing, to date, comes close to Smith's Cottage. Their service was filled with much humility and comfort. I am more than convinced that as for now, they will always be my first choice. Thank you, Smith's Cottage.

Ryan was extremely warm, communicative, and clearly concerned that we were "okay" and had everything that we needed. He was generous, kind, and eager to work with us to find a solution for whatever came up. The apartment was PERFECTLY located for our needs: we were in town for a conference, and the apartment was a quick(cheap) ride from the International Conference Center and a lovely place to come home to (THAT VIEW!!!!) The neighborhood has tons of options for grocery shopping and some nice restaurants nearby (our favorite was Market, a beautiful place with both indoor and outdoor seating, delicious food, and incredibly warm service). Because we were in town for work, we didn't get to explore the city as much as we wanted to, but we DID enjoy having the Botanical Gardens nearby – such a lovely spot! The apartment is compact and perhaps a bit tight for people who are inclined to travel with tons of luggage, but most people should be fine, plus you don't need all that stuff, guys – there's access to a laundry room here! There's also a nice looking pool, but it was winter AND we were crazy busy, so we didn't have the pleasure of experiencing it personally. All in all, our time in Durban was made much better by having such a great home base and such an accommodating host!

We stayed for the weekend with our daughter and her friend for my daughter’s 7th birthday and for them having the beach a stone throw away was perfect they had the time of their lives!! House was clean and neat and we loved the games Nicole has at the house we got to all play as a family. The girls enjoyed their room as you can see the ocean from there. Nicole was also understanding and friendly always. 100% enjoyed our stay!

we had the most amazing holiday, I have fallen in love with Umdloti. The beach water was lovely and warm, the weather was just perfect and everywhere was so easy to get to. The apartment was just perfect, the views in the morning was to die for. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us, we loved it.

We had a great stay at Natalie's place,she was so friendly and welcoming she even extended our check out time.

Staying at Duncan's place for our festive holiday enabled us to make great memories, enjoy the fabulous layout and convenient amenities. The pool was perfect for cooling down in the hot weather and then relaxing in the tranquil garden. We appreciated the security and safety features too. The home is on a quiet street, with great views of the sea in the distance and a bit of the cityscape. Duncan and Kate are great communicators, always available to respond to messages to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We'd love to stay again in future.

Justin's home was a perfect holiday home, the house it self was neat, beautiful and a great location. 6min from Umhlanga main beach, Spar is just around the corner and if you wish, you can walk to the beach down the road. Dolly, the house helper is an absolute GEM. We had a wonderful stay
