We came this weekend for a snow tubing trip to River Riders. There were 5 adults, 5 kids and 2 dogs and there was plenty of room for us all! The fenced in backyard was perfect and everyone enjoyed the hot tub, even in the freezing temps. The old house is super cute and has some unique qualities. It was clean, plenty of towels and everything needed in the kitchen to cook breakfast, lunches and dinners! No issues were encountered at all and we will be back in the Spring for river tubing! Highly recommended.

Between the enormous, gilded mirrors, the dramatic lighting, and the art that is everywhere (yet never in the way), Alex's place is a museum. But however chic the furnishings, they were all COMFORTABLE. It's a place where form meets function, and it made us very content. On a practical level, the location couldn't be better: just 20 minutes' walk to the Lower Town, five minutes to some of the area's best restaurants, and 10 minutes to dramatic overviews of the Shenandoah and Potomac Rivers. The place was quiet. The beds were perfect. The neighbors were friendly. The kitchen was well-stocked. The jetted tub was a dream. And the hosts were very communicative and helpful. Our only regret is that we had to leave. Thank you for a great stay!

Awesome stay at the school house very relaxing getaway. Hot tub was amazing at night and everything was very clean. Will definitely book again!

We absolutely loved our stay. The place was private and quaint making it for the perfect escape for a long weekend. We will definitely recommend to others and will return as well.

This was our first time in Harpers Ferry. Deans place was absolutely awesome and cozy. The house is small, but very inviting and cute. We loved the decoration and and the big fireplace. Everything was like described and super petfriendly. The Gayte House is within walking distance to all attractions, nice restaurants, and beautiful nature. We would stay anytime again.

My favorite thing about this place wasn’t even inside it, it was the driveway. Pulling a uhaul trailer on a cross country move, we always have such trouble parking it safely at Airbnbs but not here! There’s a huge, spacious, paved driveway big enough to just U-turn and park. No awkward backing up or struggling to fit. It was perfect. The place itself is super cute, comfy, and peaceful. Exactly as advertised and a great deal for the price. Would definitely stay here again! :)

We loved Claudine’s home. We live in an old home ourselves and know that old homes are such a labor of love and it’s obvious Claudine takes great pride in her home. Claudine was an excellent host, she also provided us with updates as a big storm was coming in. The home was very close to the historical district, and Shepherd University. There was a lot of space for our family to spread out in. We will definitely be back. Thank you Claudine!

Excellent stay at Tony's home. The view is fantastic and the home is exactly as pictured. We had a wonderful time with our two kids and another couple. The hot tub was great! We did not explore the area a ton, but we went next door to the equestrian center and they were extremely accommodating to our two very curious 4 year olds. If you are into horses, I recommend giving them a call. I would recommend this home and location to anyone looking to get away.

We loved this place. So close to restaurants and shops. We could park the car and walk to everything. Host is very responsive. We had a great stay and would return to any of Zeb’s properties when visiting our family. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Shepherdstown or the surrounding area. Lori & Jon Charleston, SC

Being smack on mainstreet yet setback on a second-floor level gives the benefits of both. The lower level is a small professional office that was empty overnight, so no worries on walking about, playing television etc. We were there during a hot spell, and remained comfortable although the poor window AC struggled…with a fair amount of noise. (Brought to host’s attention). No smell of smoke which others have noted. Enjoyed the Keureg coffee provided.

My husband and I were very pleased with our lodging. The photos and description were accurate. The rooms were very clean and even though it was still cold out, the heating inside was perfect. We loved how quiet the area was. Out side at night you could hear the proverbial "pin drop". We were within walking distance to all attractions. I would absolutely stay at this location again.

This home was exactly as described. We loved that we were in the heart of the historic town. The home was clean and neat with everything we needed for our stay. We would recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy Harpers Ferry and the area around.

Lesley is a great host who gave us clear instructions for getting in and parking which was very helpful. The area is really neat. This is a fun, convenient, and clean stay to experience Martinsburg and the surrounding areas. She even gladly helped us re-book when we last minute decided to stay longer to check out Harper’s Ferry! With all the help and local recommendations we would absolutely recommend.

Ralph and Vera were great hosts! My 2 year old son loved the cars they had in the back yard. We were just at the house for one night, but because of the playground, cars, and toys in the house, it was the favorite of my 2 year old!

Great place with a great view and was comfortable and nice. Plenty of activities, nature, and restaurants and breweries in the area, not to mention it is wine country. Very private and Baker was a great host.

Everything was perfect! The instructions were clear and Jason was very responsive. The location is perfect and in walking distance from many local restaurants and parks!

Visiting my daughter from out of state and it was in her same apartment building. We stayed really close and walked to everything. Great Irish pub close by and Grandma's restaurant for breakfast. The beers at Abolitionist Ale Works were delicious.

This was our second time staying with Valerie! We have family in the area, but value our privacy when we're up for a visit. Valerie's place was a good find for us. We're hoping it'll always be available when we're in the area!

We found the space on Race to be just what we needed for the motivation to get up and go to our daily bluegrass festival at the fairgrounds. If you needed something last minute, the Dollar Tree was a quick walk down the hill. The kitchen was perfect for morning coffee and eating routines. The couches were comfortable and the WiFi worked fine. All in all, this was a good location to suit our needs.

We stopped here as a pit stop during an 18 hour drive. It was perfect for us as it was right off I-81 and had lots of nearby restaurants. The place was comfortable and was really perfect for our needs. Some restaurants are walkable but our only minor complaint was a lack of crosswalks when we wanted to stretch our legs.

Perfect location to walk to the slopes! Had everything we needed.

We loved staying in this condo! It was very clean and had everything we needed for our weekend stay. Will definitely be recommending this place to others.

I think this is the best slope side ski condo at Whitetail. The slopes are right outside the door and the place is cute, clean, and comfortable. We will be going back!
