The casita was perfect for my needs on short notice. It was clean and comfortable with easy access and located in the part of town in which I was interested. It has a small kitchen with a decent-sized refrigerator, no hot pot, but a countertop range and a tea kettle. The freezer didn’t freeze my ice block, but I didn’t adjust any settings either. My only notable downside, as a shorter person (5’2”), is that where the shower head sprays is not adjustable at all. Still, this is a very comfortable casita, and I enjoyed my stay very much.

Great place but small. Not an issue - it's posted as space for one person but just be aware. Delightful. Sitting area, bed, kitchen area, and for me the coup de gras was the outside space - a table with two chairs in the garden area where I spent a few contented hours just reading. All about 1/3 mile from the bosque, another reason I chose this place. Yes, there is only one (kitchen) sink where you will do your daily self-ministrations, but well, that's why it's listed as space for one person. Another reviewer complained about insects? Bugs? the place is ground level in a natural garden. I get that you don't want such visitors in bed, but I had inconsequential issues. Fresh coffee and filters were on-hand, and some welcoming fruit and snacks.

We had the best experience!!! Not only was the house beautiful and spacious did I mention comfortable but they didn’t miss a single detail. Games appliances ect.. Trisha was wonderful we are very grateful.

Totally cool casita. It was homey and totally outfitted for a long or short term stay. We got a bonus when a very friendly Luna, older black lab puppy came to great us. It was a great stay and Seth was super responsive. Great location. We'll be back!

We had a lovely stay at Sara's. It was very walkable to Old Town and there was a great coffee shop a couple of blocks away. The casita was clean and comfortable and Sara was very friendly and accommodating.

this place is eclectic and artistic but also very home-y. cozy and also kind of complex and layered. i very much enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again when I for some reason find myself in Albuquerque for like the hundredth time in a year ha ha!

Stayed here with my baby for a quick weekend trip and it was everything we needed! So cozy and private and the hosts were wonderful. Made us feel right at home. Would 100% stay here again next time I visit.

I would go back here anytime. I just loved it. I had one problem (I could not figure out how to work thermostat), and the host came within minutes and was extremely helpful.

Yun’s in-law studio was the perfect pit stop in our roadtrip to Texas. Not only was the space spacious, homey and accommodating specially for parking, Yun was so responsive with our questions as we wanted to be respectful guests. Truly enjoyed when Yun messaged in the morning to share there were deers sleeping outside in the patio clear for us to see. Lovely space.

I’ve stayed at this Airbnb four times now, and each visit has been just as great as the last. This home is in a safe and quiet neighborhood, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway or a peaceful work trip. The backyard is absolutely beautiful—spacious, well-maintained, and a great spot to enjoy a morning coffee or unwind in the evening. The hosts are fantastic! They’re always quick to respond to any questions and go out of their way to make sure I have everything I need for a comfortable stay. It’s clear they take pride in their home and truly care about their guests’ experience. Whether I’m visiting for work or just looking for a quiet retreat, I know I can always count on this Airbnb for a consistently great experience. I’ll definitely be back again!

My stay at the casita felt like home - it was the perfect size for just me and had everything I needed. Including a day pack cooler for adventuring! My trip was for business. The neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors were friendly. The casita was cozy, about the size of an average hotel room. I was definitely living out of my suitcase. The kitchenette was well equipped. A table and stools for dining were stored next to the refrigerator. I just used a small end table and bench. The cooling/heat pump unit was great for keeping the temperature comfortable. The tiny bathroom required some challenging logistics. No surprises except for a few ants. The property owner was quick to mitigate the ant situation. Overall, my stay was comfortable and peaceful.

What a sweet place! Just as described, we felt right at home. We loved the easy parking, the private patio area, and the very well designed place. It is in the heart of Old Town and a quick walk to the Albuquerque museum, many shops and restaurants. And don’t miss ice cream at Kokopelli’s!

Our visit to Albuquerque was an enjoyable success due to Essie's comfortable, clean, and welcoming guest house (rental). Essie responded to our questions promptly - great communication. The rental is quite spacious; it was described and photographed accurately. The kitchen was very well equipped - we ate nearly all meals at the rental. The location worked for us quite well - near hiking in the Sandias and shopping needs were met via businesses on Paseo del Norte. When next visiting Albuquerque, we would absolutely request to stay at Essie's rental again.

My wife and I were amazed about what thoughtful planning resulted in. For the small space, the casita was comfortable, well arranged, and with a great flow. The kitchen was perfect with the island; the bathroom was large and comfortable. Casitas are not allowed in the subdivision I live in Colorado, but if they were, I’d replicate this one!

I had a wonderful stay while on a work trip. The home was clean, in a quiet neighborhood and had everything I needed. I loved the fenced in outdoor space for my dog who travels with me. The hosts were very kind and checked in to ensure everything was well. I felt very comfortable. I am a solo female travel and I would highly recommend this property to others who are looking for a safe and peaceful place to stay.

We had a great week long stay at Jay and Elena's casita. The location is so convenient for walking to Central Avenue businesses and restaurants, and getting on I-25 takes about five minutes. It's very close to UNM so would be ideal for folks visiting students. The Casita was much quieter than I expected given the location, and the sleeping was great. We really appreciated the snacks and beverages Jay provided as we didn't have the energy to go to the store the night we arrived. We also enjoyed visits from Bella the cat. Wish it had been a good time of year to hang out in the courtyard, but we were on the go most of the day and it was chilly by the time we got back. Maybe next time!

Lovely little spot! Perfect for a solo traveler or a couple exploring.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Gray Fox for 8 nights and absolutely loved it. I was traveling alone and was nervous about where to stay. This was the best choice I could have made as it’s safe, quiet, cozy and has everything I needed. On top of that Lori and Gordon are truly the loveliest people and made me feel more than welcome and very safe. They made sure I had everything I needed and that I was comfortable in the space. It’s a wonderful space and a great place to stay when in Albuquerque. If I’m back in the area I’ll definitely be back to the Gray Fox, it really felt like home away from home.

Cute spot for sure and the hot tub saved my sore muscles after hiking the sandia’s . The heaters were nice too.

I loved this place! It was less than half a mile from my daughter’s apartment, so that was the main reason I initially picked it, but I would go back here no matter where in Albuquerque I visited!! It was a beautiful, safe, peaceful neighborhood, I had a private garage to park in, the studio was squeaky clean, with everything I needed - including washer and dryer and beautiful deck. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in, I rested great! So quiet and relaxing. Thanks for hosting me!
