Joey and house manager Alex were responsive and very easy to communicate with. They made sure the house met our needs and that we were comfortable. The home was meticulously clean, well appointed with a fantastic view on the Albemarle Sound. I would definitely rent this house and recommend it!

I’ve stayed in some beautiful places hands down this is my favorite! Kay & her husband are the kind of people that instantly make you feel more than welcome. The house is full of beauty & history warm cozy absolutely beautiful. This will be our go to I’m so happy we found this house and met the most amazing hosts.

We had a very nice time. The home location was very convenient to downtown. It was just a short drive. The home was very clean and cozy. The hottub was great as was the rest of the outdoor area. If the weather had been warmer, we would have been out there most of the time. A lot of natural light in the home. The home is very private. The mattresses are extra firm for those who prefer that. We would definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful time at this property. Located on the main street, we enjoyed a parade from the beautiful front porch and walked downtown for shopping and sightseeing. The space has multiple rooms for lounging (we chose the kitchen and the sunroom). The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Communication was seamless and our host was very gracious. We would definitely book again!

We were in town for a local event and this cottage was in the perfect location for us! The sound of nature & the birds chirping in the morning with the views of the river off of the back porch were so peaceful! The house was incredibly clean and well stocked with anything you may need, including kitchen items to cook a meal right there in the house! Laura was an incredible host and responded immediately to all messages! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the River cottage to anyone traveling to the area!

This was our third time staying at Melody's place. Once again we found it to be very comfortable and cozy. The location is perfect for us and Melody is a wonderful host.

This home was super quiet set in a rural area. You can literally sit outside and have the most peaceful experience in this setting. The home was definitely a country home super cute and quaint, but please be mindful this is a animal friendly home. The host responded and adjusted things that I had concerns about in a timely manner. Lindas home had menues to local restaurants which i found super helpful we used a few and we all were super surprised as to how good the food tasted. Everything was in working order.

Fantastic host! Even though the listing was dog friendly, it didn’t smell or look like dogs had ever been there. The beds were all clean, the furniture was comfy, and the space was perfect for my husband, baby girl, and me. Although not walking distance to Edenton, it was a great location the sweet little town. Will 100% stay here again if our travels take us this direction.
