The house was great for our needs. We especially loved the sunroom! The beds were comfortable and slept well every night.

What a great place with a beautiful view of the River. Everything was clean and Melissa was a great host with great communication. Thank you again to her and we will be back.

We had a very nice time. The home location was very convenient to downtown. It was just a short drive. The home was very clean and cozy. The hottub was great as was the rest of the outdoor area. If the weather had been warmer, we would have been out there most of the time. A lot of natural light in the home. The home is very private. The mattresses are extra firm for those who prefer that. We would definitely stay there again.

The house was so beautiful. Warm, inviting, well-maintained…it was worth every penny. We would absolutely stay here again.

Their home is beautiful, it was delightful to wake up in the morning and look at the beautiful Chowan river through the blinds, it was the first thing we did upon waking to remind ourselves of the paradise we were in. My wife and i really enjoyed our stay. More so my wife since she lived in nature her entire life and recently relocated to NYC to live with me, and it has taken a toll on her health. We didn’t want to leave. NC is such a beautiful state and their home was so quiet and peaceful. Follow the directions they give you to make sure you get there, turn left on the mailboxes. Their place was PERFECT for me and my wife. If you like nature this place is for you. Edenton is a 20 min drive, very nice, lots of history and they have tours so make sure you plan accordingly. Outer Banks (OBX) was amazing! An hr and 40 away. Lots to do. Thank you Shelby and James 🥹❤️

This house has an amazing view of the chowan river and is emasculate on the inside. All guest had a great time and the host was very good with communication.

We had a wonderful time at Melody’s Place! It was clean, very comfy, and super accommodating for all of us. We didn’t get to spend any time outside due to the weather, but the patio was such a beautiful set up. My 6 year old wants to go back!

I have stayed in many Airbnb properties over the years and this is definitely one of my favorites! The house is very well appointed, the neighborhood was quiet, the beds were comfortable, and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful. This is the only place we will want to stay whenever we come to Edenton.

I had a great weekend. Perfect location for the Pilgrimage tour. We walked to most houses on the tour. Great location to everything we wanted to do. Cottage was well stocked. I would love stay here again.
