Place was super clean, neighbour's were super quiet and everything in the flat worked. bath was super awesome and then falling asleep listening to the ocean was amazing. Even though it is right next to the main road, only really heard traffic in rush hour. Definitely will stay again when needed.

Highly Recommended! We had an great stay at this beautiful home nestled along the scenic coastline of St. James. The views of the ocean were absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunrise, and being just a short walk from some tidal pools and Muizenberg Beach was a huge bonus. The host was exceptionally welcoming and attentive, offering great recommendations for restaurants, things to do, and hidden gems in the area. We would love to go back!

Mark and Alisa were amazing! They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We broke down a few minutes away and Mark was quick to aid us by fetching my family and luggage while I waited for the tow truck. I have to give a huge shout for this act of kindness. Thank you once again. We enjoyed our stay immensely and will be back God willing.

We had a wonderful stay at Leatitia’s place. Leatitia welcomed us warmly and we felt extremely relaxed and comfortable during our stay. The location is top class…walking distance to all the beaches within the Voelklip area. Long lazy afternoons enjoying the garden and Braai area. The snooker table was a wonderful fun addition. We had a lovely stay in Hermanus! Lynne, who is living in the other part of the house, was very nice and communicative. The area is very quiet and safe and the view of the garden and the sea was beautiful!

This place is beautiful. the most comfortable beds, fantastic location, everything you need in the kitchen. Sue was friendly and so helpful. you can tell she has great pride in the house and well she should. Reeks of art and culture, of family and friends. Of a home. We could have stayed here forever. Beautiful, Fantastic. So worth every penny. would love to return.

This is a fantastic 5-star Airbnb! It was a treat for the whole family and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Kim and Petri were excellent hosts and they really care for their guests. I wish them many more years of happy hosting with wonderful guests that will appreciate this wonderful space that they created for others to enjoy.

We had the pleasure of staying at Sean's beautiful apartment and all I can say is wow, what a stunning apartment with a great view. Waking up to that view every morning was a highlight of the trip. Die Unterkunft ist schön und er Ausblick auf die Berge und See wirklich toll. Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig gelegen, sodass man wirklich abschalten kann. Susanne ist eine sehr nette Gastgeberin.

Der Aufenthalt war wunderbar und sehr für Familien zu empfehlen. Durch den Zugang zum Strand ist man direkt in einer belebten Umgebung. Der Pool ist super, vor allem mit Kind, weil das Meer sehr kalt ist. Die Unterkunft lässt einen direkt zu Hause fühlen und bietet alles was man braucht. Eine super Kommunikation, schnell und unkompliziert. Ich kann die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.

House is in an area we know well. Love the walkability to the beach/penguins and the even a simple food option for breakfast and lunch. A short drive or longer walk gets you many more options. House has great bed linens, lots of social space, and, of course, a pool... critical for us. Yes, we'd love it to be heated, but South Africa rarely heats pools, and it's always going to be warmer than the ocean. Home also has one indoor garage space, and a driveway that can accommodate at least 3 more cars. Communication regarding arrival and departure and the offer of help during our stay was excellent. We fully intend to be back.

Beautiful beach house, perfect location. Since we traveled from abroad it would have been helpful to have beach chairs and beach towels and a laundry line. But we had a wonderful time anyway. Thank you

The historic Herbert Baker design provided a comfortable and homely space to dwell in. Our family felt at home immediately. Its was a privilege to have spent the few days at this property.

We had a fabulous week and a bit in Maureen's lovely Woodbridge Island home. The house is spacious yet homely and we were very comfortable and had everything we needed. The outdoor area is very pretty and secluded and we enjoyed sitting out there in the evenings. Maureen is a warm and friendly host and always happy to help with any queries. We hope to visit again in the future!

Probably one of the few homes in South Africa that faces north for optimal sunlight while also offering a stunning ocean & coastline view with distant mountains—ensuring a captivating nighttime landscape rather than darkness. Master bedroom, situated on a corner with floor-to-ceiling windows and panoramic views. Thoughtfully designed (sheltered) indoor braai area. The host is exceptionally responsive and warmly accommodating! LOVE IT!

What a beautiful house and setting. The house was even better than the pictures and was basically on the beach so was wonderful to just walk out the little gate onto the beautiful Silversands beach. We had a wonderful time and would love to come back again one day.
