Le logement était encore mieux que sur les photos, la vue était époustouflante et nous nous sommes vites sentis comme à la maison! nous avons pu voir tous pleins de toucans, entre autres! j'y retournerais sans hésiter! merci Nicole!

We had a lovely 2 night stay at the end of our Costa Rica vacation. It was a perfect place to settle in and unwind from all the adventures in our trip. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was great for cooking meals in. We did enjoy the restaurant on the hill (which you can see from the house) but note they only take cash. It was rated at the top of the best Costa Rica food we had. The drive was not as bad as I had anticipated since we had drove in Monteverde and other mountain towns. Definitely steep in some parts but moderate to places we had encountered before. I would still suggest at 4 wheel drive vehicle. Take a book or a family game and enjoy nature from the mountain top.

I had the most amazing week here with my two teenage daughters. The house, spread across three floors, provided plenty of extra space, but what truly made it unforgettable was the breathtaking location and ocean view—absolutely worth it. Lorenzo, the host, was fantastic—always available and willing to go the extra mile to ensure that my first big adventure with my daughters was a memorable one. This trip was something I had been waiting to do until my girls were old enough to embrace long days of exploring and take on thrilling excursions like zip-lining, whitewater rafting, and scuba diving. The villa’s location made everything incredibly convenient—just steps away from a bank, grocery store, wine shop, and some incredible restaurants like Terraza, Emilios, Le Papillon, and Tico Times. If you’re looking to wake up to monkeys, toucans, macaws, and sloths right off your balcony—peeking at you through your screen doors—this is your place

Above and beyond; This house is amazing, good facilities amazing location and very nice owners that are exceptional in their communication and service. House was very neat and clean! Would definitely recommend to stay here!

It was perfect! We were just 2 for a big place like but wanted full privacy and is in a gated community with a guard. It has very beautiful tropical landscaping, birds everywhere, ocean views from the pool, and we slept like babies. We only used the top floor bedroom, which also has a kitchenette, but used the big kitchen outside. It is fully equipped with gas stove, and 2 bbq's. There's a waterfall in the community with 2 natural pools to swim. Beautiful beautiful! I appreciated the easy self check in, it was simple and did not have to get through bunch of boring explanations (lol). We felt right at home, and will be back soon :)

We often stay with Wanda and have in previous comments all that there is to say. We are always happy to come to this pleasant and well maintained property. Wanda his response quickly if needed, but that is not often the case

We loved staying here, we were a group with four little ones and it was a great spot to spend the week while exploring the natural wonders that Costa Rica has to offer. The house itself is gorgeous and a short walk to a beautiful baby friendly beach (just be ware that this walk is not stroller friendly). Our host David and Carlos were both extremely responsive and helpful giving us recommendations and booking some activities for us. We used the chefs for a few nights who made us delicious Costa Rican food (chef Freddy and chef Carlos were amazing!) and the cleaning service was so helpful for keeping a house full of little kids clean and sand free. The only thing I would mention for future families is that the balcony (which is beautiful and often times visited by local monkeys) is set into a cliff and requires very watchful eyes to make sure the little ones don’t get too close to the railing. Just something to consider, Overall wonderful stay here and would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful week in Ismael and Francesca’s Jungle Roost. The Villa is something really special because it is one of the only large properties that is set in a natural jungle corridor in the middle of Manuel Antonio. We saw more monkeys here in one week than in one month of traveling CR. We saw way more animals in general around Jungle Roost than in the National Park… We also loved that we were just minutes away from the best part of the beach and some of the best restaurants. The Villa itself is perfect, with tasteful furnishings, high quality bedding, a very good equipped kitchen and one of the biggest pool decks/ pools we had in an Airbnb in CR. Ismael was a great help and support in planing our stay. Thank you two again for the great hospitality, we will definitely come back.

We just came back from a week in the beautiful rainforest villa…it was heaven on earth! What an absolutely gorgeous property. Comfy beds, wonderful space for 4 kids and four adults (could’ve fit another family too), daily macaw and toucan visits on the balcony, wonderful housekeeping and the best pool. From the moment we booked, Hazel reached out to help us seamlessly setup all transportation and activities. She was proactive, very communicative and had everything setup for us without issue. Jorge then met us at the home to welcome us and was available for anything we needed throughout the trip. Jorge and Hazel made our trip so easy and fun…thank you! We hope to return again in the near future…absolutely loved our trip!

My family had a wonderful stay at Casa Papillon. The house was spacious enough for my group of 7 to feel comfortable and not crowded, and the views from the porch were incredible. My kids enjoyed the waterfall pool, and we were pleasantly surprised to find a corner market and a local restaurant just a quick 8 minute walk down the road. Maria, the concierge for this property, arranged excursions and transportation for us, as well as pre-stocking groceries prior to our arrival. She was also able to have any small maintenance concerns handled right away during our stay. This location felt very private, while also being close to restaurants and shops in the touristy area of Quepos and Manuel Antonio. The best part of our stay was seeing lots of animals right on the property - squirrel monkeys, capuchin monkeys, coatimundis, iguanas, and toucans - all spied from the patio while we enjoyed our morning coffee. Highly recommend!

Our stay at Mariana’s house was fabulous. The 360 views from the house were amazing with ocean and rainforest views. The master bedroom was beautiful with completely glass walls/windows and super tall ceilings, the views from the room were awesome. There was a great infinity pool as well. What stood out the most was the concierge service. They were incredibly helpful with booking activities, providing recommendations, coordinating food deliveries and a chef, and helping book transportation. The house is on a huge hill (which is why the views are great), so 4 wheel drive is definitely needed. I would highly recommend staying here!

Words cannot describe the beauty of both the house and the surroundings. We arrived after dark and when we looked outside in the morning we were met with the most unbelievable view. There were 8 of us and not once did we feel like we were in each other's way. The house is huge!! The daily maid service was absolutely a bonus that we weren't expecting,,, she gave us so much extra time to enjoy ourselves. The wildlife was so much fun. We didn't even want to leave the property because we were scared to miss something. Monkeys galore everyday,, a sloth and a toucan plus lots of others. We walked to so many amazing restaurants and bars. We took ubers to the beach because it would have been quite a long walk. 100 percent rent this place if you are ever considering Manuel Antonio,,, you will not be disappointed.

Really special place!! The views are incredible and we saw so much wildlife from our beautiful wrap-around deck and the pool area, including monkeys, scarlet macaws and agoutis. Loved the privacy and serenity of the villa, but was a short walk to the Mariposa hotel. Would definitely stay here again!!

Our stay here was absolutely magical and was truly a trip of a lifetime for everyone in my group! It was a girl’s trip for my bachelorette - 11 people total and beyond comfortable for all. We each had our own beds and plenty of space. The housekeeper and maintenance/pool man came daily. There are several terraces and outdoor spaces with equally unique and beautiful views! The villa is even more stunning & impressive in person. We opted to do the all-inclusive private chefs and it was BEYOND WORTH IT and really made our trip so unforgettable! Our chefs Mario & Adrian were absolutely INCREDIBLE; we ate like royalty everyday! The concierge team was so responsive and helpful in planning the trip and making all of our reservations for every type of activity we wanted to do! Excursions, spa day massages at the villa, airport transportation… they will help you book and organize every request! There’s not a single complaint or negative thing that we could say. STOP HESITATING & BOOK IT!!!

Our stay was great! The place is centrally located, close to grocery stores and restaurants. It was very large, plenty of rooms and bathrooms. The kids loved running around and swinging in the hammocks and the pool. The place could have had some upgrades, like soap in the showers and more absorbent towels - small things that were not a huge bother. There also seemed to only be hot water in the main house.

We had read reviews about wildlife and hoped, but it didn't disappoint. Daily Scarlet Mackaws, heard howler monkeys twice, saw a white faced monkey trying to get a lizard in the yard, squirrel monkeys in the canopy, iguanas, tree frog at night, and neighborhood dogs would visit each night randomly. Our kids loved the wildlife from the pool and searching around the property and neighborhood hikes to look for more. Not mentioned in the post- there is a washer and dryer in the basement area, along with wifi, outdoor shower to get off sand, and several grills to use. There was a wonderful gift basket when we arrived with pineapple the kids loved, coffee (so thoughtful), and local snacks. The AC in the rooms and fans worked great. The front gate was a nice feature for security (and keeping our kids in honestly). Great home and great location. Only downsides were depleted silverware for house with six people and hand washing dishes. Thanks for the flexible arrival and departure!

This is an excellent place to stay whether you're in town for a few days or more than a week. It's private, clean, close to Quepos Centro and Manuel Antonio, fully equipped and beautifully decorated. I also enjoyed that the property has nice areas, such as the pool and book corner. Have to mention that Vernita was great, and it was amazing that she speaks both English and Spanish; I'm also a tourist, despite I'm Tica. I appreciate they spoke in my native language although I communicate mainly in English for work. Lastly, the type of people that stays here is very calm, you don't hear them them at night making loud noises nor partying. We visited on business and felt like a vacation.

Beautiful house overlooking the city of Quepos with an excellent view of the ocean. The sunsets over the ocean from the pool are magnificent. And the property manger is very thorough and very friendly. We enjoyed staying here very much; and we highly recommend the house. We definitely want to stay here again on our next visit to Manuel Antonio.

Un lugar super tranquilo, no hay ruido de nada, ideal para descansar y compartir tiempo en familia, la piscina super limpia y muy cerca de un río para poder refrescarse sin ningún peligro, calle poco transitada, ideal para llevar nuestras mascotas en un ambiente agradable, los recomiendo don José y doña Elizabeth muy gentiles

This place was a hidden gem. The listing photos don’t do it justice. I wish we could’ve stayed for longer! We went with a big group of 4 adults, 1 elder, 1 baby & 1 dog + the space was spacious enough for all of us to have our own private rooms & to share comfortably in the common areas and kitchen. The location is beautiful & the beach is basically private… for the time of year that we went (between Christmas & New Year) the beach was pretty empty — only a few others around. The surroundings are beautiful for morning or evening strolls with the baby & dog & the pool was the perfect spot to cool down. The cleaning staff were all super friendly & welcoming. The only downside is that the listing said there was wifi and one of the people in our group needed wifi for work, I messaged Sami & she clarified the listing hadn’t been updated. There is wifi by the pool & it barely reached the villa, a couple days in someone came in to put a repeater for us which worked only for a day
