I felt right at home the moment we stepped in our rented room. Stays like this make me prefer staying at airbnb rather than hotel rooms 🙂 Place is safe, with CCTV, with doors properly secured. Ate Cora was so accommodating to attend to our needs. Very helpful indeed!

A lovely room attached to a great diving resort. The resort itself focuses heavily on diving, but the owner was incredible at facilitating activities both in and out of the resort and made everything as painless as possible. The hassle of COVID restrictions to enter Mindoro was 100% worth it to escape the reality of NCR.

we had a wonderful and restful stay at Ten Sparks. it was memorable place for a memorable time and really value for money. the host is also very generous and flexible in many ways such as allowing a birthday party for my husband at short notice. the caretaker turned out to be as nice as what other guests had described in earlier reviews. the italian pizza place and the filipino restaurant across the street (at the neighboring hotel named Sanghaya) was truly a good recommendation in the ad we will surely want to come back here. we found that the warning regarding the sharp corals at the beach across the street indeed can cause cuts - we were all injured after swimming there, so just wear aqua shoes to be safe. but there were so many fish to see and the water was crystal clear :)

This is the third review of my visit. It was a really satisfying trip again. The amenities are even better than before. I really want to recommend this place to travelers from this area. I will definitely choose this place for my next trip as well.

We had a very good stay. Ate Rose and Alvin were helpful--keeping the place clean, getting things we need from the market, and even cooking for us. Alvin was especially attentive to our needs. We love the quietness of the place. 3 nights is not enough, we should have booked a longer time so we can explore other places. On the day we were to go to White Beach, it rained, but Greg's team still managed to get us a boatman when the skies were clearer. Alvin also took us to the river nearby. Things to note for a better experience: - If the power goes out (which is something expected in Mindoro), don't hesitate to reach out to the staff. You may need to unplug a few things before the generator gets turned on, but at least you'll have electricity for the next 10 hours. - There are still patches of unfinished roads, best to arrange with Greg re: transportation to and from the house. - Check the weather and time activities accordingly. It's not advisable to ride the boat when it's raining.

This is an architectural fantasy come to life with artefacts and knickknacks from all over the world. Be prepared for the unconventional & to climb a few steps exploring the spaces. It’s a good location if you have a vehicle. It’s a quiet area with a great ocean view up a steep hill yet close to a beach. Michel met me at the ferry dock and assisted me with motorbike rental and return transport which was very helpful. If you opt for meals, they are amazing, ample & affordable. They also provide drinking water. It’s as private as you want or join convos in common areas and kitchen. I appreciated the suggestions and anecdotes! All the rooms are unique & have their own perks & quirks. Some with A/C, some with wifi, and each has unique furnishings with comfy beds. It’s a place to relax and recharge more than a place to do desk work. A/C is good apart from a power brownout when the generator stopped at night. Pick a room with good airflow as synthetic sheets add to the heat without fans.

I quickly felt right at home. The staff were helpful and the Manager was close at hand to sort out any needs. My room, a studio, had everything I needed including a functional kitchenl that I used everyvday. My view from the balcony was across the strailt to Luzon. l went to sleep every night to the sound of the waves breaking on the beach below my balcony.
