We absolutely loved our stay here! It was a perfect location to the ski hills yet a very quiet setting that we could relax after a day at the slopes. The house was a perfect size and layout for our group, decorated very nicely, and had great amenities; hot tub, sauna, comfortable choices, and a great sized kitchen stocked with all the essentials.

Beautiful getaway. A river runs by providing soothing sounds and picturesque sights. Can be seen from the wonderful hot tub out back and from the long covered deck. Some property to walk, but also close to many waterfall hikes, if you're wanting some outdoor adventure. During bad weather or you're feeling lazy, the couch is very comfy and the TV large. Hannah was extremely responsive and helpful (I got my car stuck, through my own fault, and she facilitated my escape). She provided recommendations of her own accord, and they all turned out to be accurate.

We rented both sides and it worked great for two families. Two kitchens and two living rooms when you have 4 kids makes everything easier. The hot tub was a big hit with the kids and the walking distance to the hill was a bonus. We would definitely rent this place again!

Plenty of space and a good location for ski in/ski out

Our stay at the Lily Pad Lodge was phenomenal. Beautiful property, great amenities, and Kristin was a fantastic host. We were in town for the Winman Enduro and this made a fantastic home base of operations and a peaceful retreat after a day of racing. Highly recommended.

Hemlock Haven was an absolute gem to stay at. The place was very nice, with really nice furnishings and very well stocked. The drive in is just gorgeous and very private. We walked our dog off leash daily and never ran into anyone. Felt like we had the world to ourselves. Fishing was pretty good too. We caught walleye, perch, northern and a few small Muskie. Bob was so helpful and gave us lots of tips and places to try out. The out door deck in the back is so cool and where we spent lots of time cooking, eating, and listening to music. We never turned on the tv once! It is tight to go up to the master bedroom which is accessed by a spiral staircase. We stayed in the bunk room because we didn’t want to leave our senior dog downstairs alone in a strange place, so we had to bring our luggage upstairs as there really isn’t anywhere to put anything downstairs. It was impossible to get my luggage up but managed to move some stuff around and make it work. This was the only negative! 5 stars!

Great location! We’ve been doing this trip for 5 years and we’re never able to bring our pup who loves the UP and the snow so we really appreciated that we could bring him this weekend. The place was clean and had plenty of space for the 10 adults we had. The kitchen was fully stocked and allowed us to do all the cooking we wanted. Would stay again!

Cozy little cabin in the north woods. Comfortable beds. Nice enclosed patio. Located right on the lake. It has all the amenities you would need for a long weekend. We'll stocked kitchen with all the cookware you would need.

If you are looking for peace and quiet this is your place. The lake is beautiful and the fall colors around the cabin were breathtaking!

We had a great stay. Things were very clean and comfortable. This is clearly a well-loved family cabin with a history, and we appreciated getting to stay here. We cross-country skied at Mecca on the way up and at ABR and Wolverine on Saturday and Sunday. The cabin was very convenient for trail access.

A great spot to enjoy the outdoors and feel like you have the island all to yourself. Quiet and secluded with a beautiful couple of nearby hikes that lead right up to the water.

Pride of ownership abounds! From little to big everything is well provided. Lake view and Landscaping were gorgeous. The Blackstone grille was a real treat. The kitchen and deck had everything you could want to serve a family comfortably. Home was wonderful a true slice of heaven. Absolutely loved the WinMan biking trails. Turtle Lake was beautiful for pontoon boating. Host was incredibly responsive including activity and restaurant recommendations. Loved hearing the history of Winchester and the lake home property from visiting the Winchester Library just footsteps from the property. A very memorable family vacation.

Cozy, quiet cabin in the trees. Loved the closeness of the water. Had a bonfire every night. Tracy is super prepared and responsive. Great place!

We absolutely loved our time here! The location was perfect and the view is unbeatable. It’s obvious this place has been loved and cherished over the years and easy understand why. It’s a little rustic, like a cabin should be and having only one bathroom made me nervous initially but it was never an issue. Bonfires every night, card playing on the big dining room table, and sand castles on the beach. This lake house has a true Madeline Island vibe and we all want to come back soon.

I was looking for something rustic and in the woods, and I found it. So close to hiking trails and so many waterfalls! It’s not super private but it was still quiet and I barely saw anyone. It’s is dog friendly (thankfully), so a few barks now and then. I was in a predicament at the end of my stay and she was SO incredibly helpful and gracious. Would love to come back.

We had a wonderful girls weekend staying at Adelaide Adventure house! The house was super clean and comfortably decorated. The kitchen had all the amenities including sharp cutting knives (and if you are a frequent renter, you know how RARE this is!). The gas fireplace added cozy ambience and welcome warmth after a long day of xc skiing. The house is very close to Winman for all season recreation. The host was easy to communicate with, we felt very welcome and taken care of. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
