thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Host very responsive to any issues we had. Easy to get the keys etc and in. Very well equipped kitchen, all rooms a good size for what we needed. Pleasantly surprised with the bathroom, the pictures really don't do it justice, it was lovely! TV was easy to use and sign into our apps. Fire also easy to use. We ate twice at the Travellers rest as it's a short walk away. lovely meal, portions are VERY generous. We were there to go to Diggerland and Beamish, both were a very short drive away and were both a great day out!!

Short break to this accommodation with our daughter and her two sons aged 19 months and 6yrs They loved watching the trains at the back of the property. House walkable into town centre and used two of the takeaways which were good (Fortune Chinese and Capplemans fish and chips. Had a lovely day at Peasholm Park in Scarborough which was about 40 mins drive away. Would recommend this property

We had a great time here in Whitby. The house is huge and well equipped and we had plenty of space for our group of 12. We appreciated being able to explore by foot as the house is within walking distance of the station, the town and the beach. Would love to return and stay a bit longer!

Just spent 3 nights at prospect farm; a family of 2 adults, 1 small child & a dog. The cottage & surroundings were perfect in meeting all our needs, we had the best time. We all loved the outdoor space, & meeting the farm residents. The cottage itself was a great size for our family- & a peaceful spot for uninterrupted sleep. Martyn was great in local recommendations- spoilt for choice with regards to places to eat & local walks. The location is an ideal base to enjoy so much in this area, short drive to Dalby forest & around half an hour from the coast. Martyn & his family were so lovely & welcoming throughout our stay, great hosts.

Great spot! The location could not have been more perfect for walking to family members in the area and shopping. House was ideal for our family of 4. The Christmas decorations made us feel right at home as we were so far away from Arizona. House was very clean as well. Thank you for being so responsive.

We had a wonderful stay at Joannes home! It is so perfectly located to do all we wanted to - seaglass hunting!! Huge benefit to have the parking spot on the front drive. Also huge bonus to be in walking distance to ammenities - asda, pharmacy, home shops and food outlets. Everything we needed was here - a home away from home. The tea/cake/milk was a kind touch. Comfy, clean bright airy base. Comfy sofa and bed. Really well decorated and maintained, lovely colour schemes and accents - nothing has been overlooked. Joanne was an attentive host with friendly communication. Wouldn't hesitate to come back if we are ever up North again. Thank you so much!

We had a fantastic stay in this lovely home and highly recommend it! Spotlessly clean, powerful shower and comfy beds with the most gorgeous views over the fields. The house had everything we needed (plus hand wash, toilet roll, kitchen roll, washing up liquid and sponge, cleaning spray and cloth, tea coffee milk and biscuits, travel cot, night light plug, towels) and the kids enjoyed the books! It was in a nice peaceful location, and we enjoyed the walk down into Runswick Bay. Jamie was a brilliant host- he gave us lots of helpful recommendations, check in was easy, his communication was great and he was happy to help with anything. We definitely hope to return for another visit :)

Seldom is where we stay one of the highlights of our trip, but this townhouse definitely was. It was absolutely amazing. It was warm and comfortable after coming in from our chilly all day excursions. The beds were comfortable, the house extremely clean and the amenities absolute perfection.

A lovely caravan very close to the sea. It was beautifully maintained. The kitchen was excellent. A slow cooker and an air fryer+ a full gas cooker and microwave. I was spoiled for choice!! The price was excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely caravan to anyone. Thanks Lynn. A very friendly and helpful host.

We had a great stay, in a clean, spacious, up to date caravan, was very quiet, as the caravan site isn't open till the middle of March. That was not a problem we made our own entertainment with the cards and games provided, I would stay there again and would recommend it to my family and friends. we have used Air BnB several times and have never had a bad encounter, Lisa kept me updated and was prompt in replying to messages I sent. Thank you from my family and myself.

Lovely caravan - easy check-in with lockbox, and parking space next to caravan. Lots of extra thoughtful touches inside that made it feel very home-from-home (board games, DVDs, even a jar of biscuits!), extra blankets, lovingly decorated, and the essentials were there too so we could get comfortable straight away (I’ve stayed in some places where there wasn’t even one toilet roll, hand soap, or washing up liquid!) The location was nice, The view out of the lounge window of the sea was lovely, and it’s a short walk to the beach. The site shop etc obviously wasn’t open as it’s out of season, but local shops are a short drive away. Two toilets is a lifesaver with children. The two doors into the main bathroom from the hall and the master bedroom gave us a giggle as I thought it was a cupboard - remember to lock both doors if using the main toilet haha! But space-wise, it is a clever idea. Midday checkout was really useful too, less rush! Would definitely stay again, thanks for having us!

What a wonderful stay. The caravan is lovely, with a fantastic jungle theme which the children loved. It was spotless throughout and there were lots of extras included which made the stay very easy for us.

Caravan was immaculate and very homely loved the added touches. The Seaview was a bonus as the children loved it. Our family enjoyed our Christmas in the caravan was a lovely experience. Would definately recommend to others. Great host 5*.

We had an absolutely perfect stay. Wonderfully warm and friendly hosts, fantastic amenities, a beautiful setting and truly dog friendly! The pool is a fabulous added bonus and great location for Malton and Castle Howard. Would 100% recommend this cottage and we would love to come back.

We stayed at the Lodge for 4 weeks due to a delayed house completion. The location is amazing in every respect. The lodge is more spacious than the pictures suggest - walk in wardrobes amazing for our extended stay. Well equipped, very efficient heating and hot water Long local beach walks with the cafe (great ice cream), literally 15m away. We did not use the entertainment complex but it always looked busy Thoroughly recommended

If there was a six star rating then I would definitely pick that! Julian’s house is superb, we stayed for 4 nights after the new year as a family and have had the best time. The house is just beautiful in a gorgeous location and very spacious. There were 9 of us and 3 dogs all together and we had more than enough room. I would wholeheartedly recommend Foxhall farm along with Julian and Jolene who are great and very helpful. Thank you for fab holiday 🥰

We had a really lovely stay at Curlew Cottage for my husbands 40th birthday weekend. It was a great base to explore the surrounding area as we are into our walks. The house itself was beautifully presented, spacious, very clean and had everything we needed. The setting was very peaceful with beautiful views all around. We spotted lots of wildlife which was lovely. We would highly recommend and hope to visit again in the future.

A fantastic stay at Ray's place - thank you Ray! Communication was always prompt and the accommodation was very comfy and well appointed with everything covered! The location was excellent - travelling was easy both by car and public transport and great to be able to do walks from the very front door. Thanks again Ray for a great stay!

Always nice to stay here. With family in the area, an ideal quiet place. Not far from the town and beach - all walkable.

Highly recommend this is our 2nd visit as we love it so much. Having this fantastic base to return to after exploring the local area is absolute perfection. Caroline is a fantastic host. Her home was perfect. It had everything we needed and more. Some lovely small details that make it extra special on arrival- welcome pack, well stocked (cleaning materials, dog throws and bowls etc). Fantastic location. We loved how peaceful it was at the cottage and the close proximity to the beach. We would definitely recommend staying at Paddy’s cottage and hope to be able to return there in the future.

Beautiful comfortable place , we felt at home clean spacious and lovely surroundings. We really enjoyed our stay. Kendra was really helpful in recommending places to eat and visit. What a hidden gem this cabin is. Peaceful private location within easy walking distance ( off road) to Pickering . Only two downsides, we could not get the fire hot the hot tub to stay lit so we couldn’t use it - which was in the over all cost of the accommodation and therefore not good value for money to us and there was a nuisance of flies within the cabin which was worse when cooking. This is obviously an ongoing problem considering that the hosts have left items to help manage this - sticky fly tape from ceiling, fly swatter and fly spray.

Me and my partner had a wonderful stay at Pete’s cabin. It was lovely and peaceful. The hot tub was amazing. Pete was always on hand to help re heat the hot tub. The fresh eggs from the hens were a great addition and were very tasty! Overall it was an amazing stay and would highly recommend Pete’s cabin to anyone wanting a lovely peaceful get away!
