This place has amazing views of the ocean, is comfortable and has everything you need for a little coastal stay. A short walk to cafes and the beach.

I would give six stars (if I could) for our stay at Jan's place. It is a nicely updated and well furnished house perched on a hill that affords a scenic view of Binalong bay. We found the unit to be very clean and well provisioned for a five day stay. From the house, a five minute walk will get you to Binalong Beach where one can swim in tranlucent turquois water and walk along long white sand beach. Ten minute drive from the house will get you to downtown St. Helenes where great coffeeshops and restaurants abounds. We ate at many of these eateries and all were good to excellent. A bit longer scenic drive , may be 20 min from the house, will get you to a beautiful and friendly winery where one can sample seven different types of high qauality wines at 15 AUD per person. If you feel like splurging, buy a bottle of 2016 Pinot Noir and drink this elegant wine on the deck while watching the waves landing on the beach. Book this place and collect wondeful memories.

Great place to stay. Close to beautiful beaches and the house was comfortable, clean and spacious.

We LOVED our stay here and already can’t wait to return. Chris’s place instantly felt like home when we arrived. The view is beautiful, as you can see in the photos. Chris was so helpful with local recommendations of places to visit and spots to eat. Oh and the bed is the most comfortable we’ve had our whole trip! Highly recommend!

Couldn’t recommend this place more, we have 2 young children and it was so family friendly, just a short walk over the bank to the beach, a play area, amazing clean pool, every area and the whole room was clean and well maintained We will be definitely returning

Scamander is centrally located for key parts on the East Coast such as Bicheno, Binelong Bay and Freycinet. The house is a 300 metre easy stroll to the beach and the awesome River Mouth Cafe. The property is well equipped and beautifully quiet.

A fantastic location. Beautifully appointed and perfect for a catch up with old friends. The top lounge affords amazing coast view and comfy couch to curl up with an cuppa, the bottom lounge cosy with the wood stove and any number of lovely outdoor places to sit and enjoy the great garden which is perfect for a dog. Kitchen has all we needed and the wood fired pizza oven was fun for home made pizzas. This truly is a stand out place to stay. Immaculately clean and Jan was responsive and provided great support for our check in and stay. Thank you!

Perfect for our 2 night stay exploring the Bay of Fires area. The heating had been put on for our arrival, and we felt very welcomed and at home. Fully equipped kitchen, loads of provisions, super comfy beds and lovely to have a hot soak in the bath. Matt was fantastic to liaise with, great communication, helpful & friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Stunning views of Binalong Bay, quiet neighbourhood, large unit, full kitchen - this is an amazing spot to stay in Binalong Bay. The view from the balcony, bedrooms and living area of the Bay of Fires is exceptional and unimpeded by any other houses or obstructions. Getting to the beach is an easy 5-minute walk down the road. This unit is the lower half of an older large beach house. The rooms are large, the balcony is large, the lawn in large - it is not often I find that the place is actually bigger than the pictures on Airbnb suggest. The kitchen is well stock with utensils and there is ample counter space with which to do food prep. Plus there is a barbecue on the balcony and even a wood-fire pizza oven in the backyard. This is an excellent house for those planning to cook their own meals and use as a base to explore the area. Con was extremely responsive and offered quite detailed instructions for check-in and house amenities. I would unequivocally recommend staying here!

Lynette’s place was easy to find, clean and comfortable with wide open spaces, a lovely beach and a great pool close by. We were there for a wedding in Falmouth and the cafe/restaurant was a great place to catch up with friends and family. It is also an easy drive to Bicheno, Frecinet, Scamander and St Helens. If we’re ever in this part of Tassie again we’d be more than happy to stay at Lynette’s place.

as a regular weekend airbnb visitor. This was top of the tier for me as far as airbnb's go. With completely clean and modern yet home vibe unit with a view to die for. Just to have the options of walking 2 minutes to the beach and with the resort even closer for a beer and a feed. And host was very detailed in directions and check ins! very happy will definitely be back.

Great area, about 1.2 kms walk into town. Peaceful with our unit set back from the road. The unit had everything we could need for a short stay, it was clean and tidy. A bit frustrating as we tried contacting the owner to check all was ready and to find out how we were to gain entry and we got no reply, so we had to turn up and then we found it was units with a reception area on site.

Bella Costa is a wonderful place with a great view of the beach at Binalong Bay. Access to the beach was easy (there’s a pedestrian path just round the neighbouring house). So it’s about 50 metres to the beach for a swim. The kitchen is great and allowed us to eat in, although the pizzeria next door looked good and did tasty ice creams. Good shower, comfy bed and strong WiFi. Overall a great place to stay in Binalong Bay.

We enjoyed staying at Heather’s place - it is comfortable and just a little quirky! Spacious bedroom, living room with big couch, huge bathroom with spa. Separate kitchen and eating area, with basic cooking facilities, and marvellous outdoor deck with beautiful view, all set in a lovely garden. Short drive to St Helen’s shops and waterfront. We didn’t meet Helen, but all instructions were clear. Parking on very steep slope in driveway. There is a steep walk with luggage around to the back of the house, which wouldn’t suit people with limited mobility.
