What a hidden gem of a place! We feel so lucky to have found Stable Oak Cottages and to have spent New Year there with our family celebrating our sons 18th. The place was gorgeous and the hot tub such a treat! The alpacas were great entertainment and the luxurious little touches from bath robes and sliders, to home baked bread and muffins were just wonderful. Highly recommend.

I can’t recommend Lisa’s place enough. We had a different air bnb booked which cancelled on us 2 days before our trip. We were so pleased to find Lisa’s lovely home and we are pleased our original one cancelled! The house is really large and spacious, lots of room for our group of 10. Rooms were comfortable and all facilities were more than adequate for our group. Lots of seating inside and out, lovely hot tub and a lovely sunny garden. The house is on a quiet estate with ample parking. Lisa communicated really well and check in was easy. Would highly recommend

On arrival we immediately felt at home. The surrounding area was beautiful and the grounds were large and very child friendly. My grandson chose this area to do his 4.5Km charity walk during his time here. The jacuzzi was a big hit. The house was also large and accommodated 6 adults and five children between 5 yrs to 10 yrs. with ease. A modern kitchen was very well equipped with good quality items, it was very large and easy to work in, even the larder was well stocked with essentials. You could tell that Tim, our host, takes pride in the house, furnishing it with many William Morris fabrics, amongst others, tasteful art, plus original wooden features etc. Crisp linen and decent size bathroom towels. Tim, an all round lovely chap, popped in to welcome us with a gift of local produce from a local farm shop.....the raspberry jam was to die for. games and books were aplenty also. We are hoping to return again. I will, without a doubt recommend Tim's property.

Outstanding! Jo's place is a real home away from home - spacious, well equipped - notably the kitchen - and within easy walking distance to Hythe town centre (and Waitrose). We stayed over Christmas so made full use of the kitchen to host a big group (we have family in the area). A fabulous time was had by all, and the hot tub proved to be a winner!

We loved our stay at the house. Our highlight of the stay was watching a movie on the massive projector screen and making use of the hot tub. Would thoroughly recommend.

Pauline was not only an exceptional host, responsive, friendly and warm, but her place was stunning. The location is beautiful and so peaceful. Watching the sunset over the fields from the hot tub was perfect! The cottage itself is a perfect size and just beautifully decorated and laid out. And Pauline has thought of everything. The little touches really made our stay. I can’t wait to come and stay again!

Booked the lodge for my parents as Christmas present, and it was great experience for them, they loved every minute of the trip. The hosts was superb and very welcoming, and made my parents feel so comfortable throughout the duration of the trip. Would highly recommend and will book again.

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay at Nina’s place: my wife and I, and two young children. The place is spacious and beautifully furnished. We particularly loved the kitchen-dining area for preparing and enjoying family meals, the comfortable bedrooms, and of course, the hot tub. Our first time in Rye and we are very impressed. The history and natural beauty of the area are more profound than we realised. Can’t wait to return.

The house was spacious, stylish and practical with everything you need. The location is central, near to the beach and quiet. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We had a brilliant stay at Nicola’s house. It is beautifully done and very clean. Easy to find and get in with the lockbox. Amazing location for Whitstable high street and the beach. Would highly recommend!

Great place to stay out of the hustle & bustle of Whitstable but a gorgeous walk in along the beach / coast walk - flat and easy for all. Really enjoyed staying in this area - lovely houses and beach feels very private. Plus the house is 3 houses down from the sea and upstairs bedrooms have great seaview. Very sociable space - 4 couples stayed and we had so much room to cook, eat & sit and the garden is a bonus.

We booked The Crow’s nest as we were attending a Wedding in the Town Hall with the reception at The George. Fantastic location in between both. The property is absolutely stunning, three super comfy beds and plenty of space for three of us. Kitchen was well stocked which was lovely. The products used were also lovely, soap and shower gel etc. Thank-you so much for a lovely stay.

We had a wonderful two night stay. Katy and Bryan were lovely hosts, and we very much enjoyed the freshly-baked bread and home-made jam. The location was beautiful and peaceful, and the cabin was charming and comfortable. We will be returning!

We absolutely loved our stay at The Stable. The photos when we booked looked amazing but in reality it was superb. The bed and settee were super comfy and all the TV set up was great. We had amazing weather for April so really enjoyed the little sun trap of a garden. The lights at night were so pretty. Going to get some for home. The kitchen had everything we needed. Little goodies left by Greg were very nice. Our little dog was very well behaved and enjoyed his holiday too. The stable is in good walking distance to everywhere in Southend. We walked miles both ways on the beach. Luckily we came before 1st May because after that till September dogs are not allowed on the beaches. And that would have been a game changer for us. All in all it is a lovely little cottage. Designed beautifully well done.

Lovely property, only a couple of mins walk from the beach and the Old Neptune. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend! Property had everything we need and was in immaculate condition. Stairs to the upstairs bedrooms are very steep (not an issue for us, but to keep in mind for older or less mobile guests). But otherwise a perfect property and would definitely stay here again if returning to the area.

Dani's place is stunning, the beach was less than a 5 minute walk, its peacefu, quiet and such a stunning area. The house was spotless and looked just like the pictures, everything you need for a trip away. Felt like home. Dani was super helpful and quick to respond. I visiting Dani's house by myself and my dog, and i was spoilt for room. Its suitable for the whole family :)

Lovely place very clean and cozy. Hot tub was great also very clean. Love the little touches with the eggs and orange juice. Will book again in the summer when the pool is open thanks for our stay.

Nice stay! Comfortable beds, clean rooms, thoughtfully laid out, well equipped, and so close to great walks and heritage sites. The kids loved the indoor pool. The chalet is probably meant to be enjoyed best in warmer weather but Neil provided enough space heaters to keep warm. The electricity is run on coin meter- took about 6-7£ for 2 days in February, could probably get away with half of that in warmer months.

Had the loveliest stay at Larissa’s place on her gorgeous land. The place was perfect, had everything we needed and was presented amazingly, the garden was beautiful and we made good use of the hot tub. The animals were the cherry on top for us, the little lambs came to see us and we loved Prince Onion the cat whi came and introduced himself ☺️Perfect location as well for our shopping day at Ashford Designer Outlet. Thank you Larissa!☺️x

I must admit I was somewhat worried after booking and reading previous reviews but my worries were unfounded. the chalet was lovely and I didn't think it was dated. the kitchen had everything we needed, the chalet was homey and comfortable. There were extras like a clothes horse to hang wet towels and costumes, games, hand soaps and cream etc. My only slight niggle is that wifi isn't included. Regardless, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Lyn's chalet and would stay again!

The caravan was the biggest and most luxurious caravan we have stayed in. It was better than described, very well equipped, and the best location on site - very peaceful and great views, we loved watching the sheep! If we come back to Parkdean Camber Sands again, we are booking this caravan!

The accommodation is exactly as described in a great location with sea views. Perfect for families as well as couples or individuals. Having a sea view is lovely and it is within walking distance to the beach.

Fantastic location, beautiful and comfy house. Perfect for a large family get-away. Games room was good fun and the garden was perfect in the sunshine. The pebble beach is just a few minutes walk away and access to the Cliff walk is easy as well.

I booked to stay at the cottage for my husband's birthday and it didn't disappoint. The communication between myself and Tim & Maite was great. They were always responsive and super helpful. The photos of the house don't do it justice. It’s such a lovely area and although you may see the occasional walker in the distance, you feel like your'e in the middle of nowehere. The hot tub was a great addition to the property, especially since the pool at the house was not available due to it being out of season and super cold, as explained prior to our arrival. We ( and the kids) loved the house, loved the fire, loved the hot tub, loved the games, We played the family edition of Cards Against Humanity and it was just a lovely relaxing family weekend away without computer games - it was bliss. The perfect setting and in my husbands words - it was the perfect find! Thank you so much to Tim and Maite for such a wonderful stay.
