I recently stayed in this apartment for a conference at the Basel Messe, and I was very satisfied with my experience. The apartment is clean, modern, and well-equipped with new appliances and furniture. The location was very convenient for attending the conference, the conference center was an easy walk away – about 10 minutes. The tram was literally under the house making it very easy to commute around the city. The host was very friendly and responsive, and overall I would highly recommend this apartment. I had an excellent experience!

Perfektes Wochenende in einem wunderschönen Haus! Wir hatten ein absolut großartiges Wochenende in Franks Haus! Von Anfang an war die Kommunikation mit Frank super freundlich und unkompliziert. Die Anreise war reibungslos, und als wir ankamen, waren wir sofort begeistert. Das Haus ist nicht nur wunderschön und stilvoll eingerichtet, sondern auch makellos sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Lage ist fantastisch – ruhig und idyllisch, perfekt zum Entspannen, aber dennoch gut erreichbar - Tram 15 min entfernt und Bus ums Eck. So waren Basel und Weil schnell und unkompliziert zu besuchen. Besonders genossen haben wir den schönen Ofen und große Wohnzimmer mit vielen Kinderbüchern. Frank ist ein toller Gastgeber, der wirklich an alles gedacht hat, um seinen Gästen einen perfekten Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Beautiful house with a grande view of Sankt Blasien and the dome. We were there with 9 people, had more than the space we needed in a cosy house with places to join as a group as wel as places to be by oneself. Very well equipped. Good beds. We had a great time. We all would love to come back.

Wir haben noch nie eine so liebevoll und gemütlich eingerichtet Unterkunft erlebt. Die Küche war mit allem, was man als Familie zum kochen braucht ausgestattet. Das Kinderzimmer war für unseren kleinsten das totale Paradies mit Spieloptionen von Autos, Eisenbahn, Küche, puzzeln und Büchern. Die Unterkunft war zu unserer Ankunft bereits kuschelig warm und mit Begrüßungsgetränken ausgestattet. Man kommt super von dort aus zu tollen Ausflugszielen. Wir waren rundum glücklich und Martin stand jederzeit für Fragen zur Verfügung. Absolut empfehlenswert!!!

Amazing host, thank you for all your help during our stay. The pictures don't do the house justice, it's fantastic and the area is amazing and peaceful. Only 30 mins on the tram into basel. Will stay here again when visiting the area, thanks Silvie for everything.

A beautiful and cozy apartment where we enjoyed afternoons spent reading on the sofa and loved preparing dinner in the excellently equipped kitchen. The apartment is located right next to a lovely bookshop/café and serves as a great starting point for hiking trips. There is even a whole folder with maps and recommendations for hikes in the vicinity, in case you arrive unprepared. We very much recommend staying there!

Bel environnement, bon accueil et logement très propre

We hebben echt een heel fijn verblijf gehad. Alles wat we nodig hadden was aanwezig. De omgeving is schitterend. Lutz reageerde snel op de vragen die we hadden. Ik kan deze plek iedereen aanraden.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in dem geräumigen, sehr gut und liebevoll ausgestatteten Apartment. Die Küche ließ mit ihrer Ausstattung kaum wünsche offen und die zwei Schlafzimmer ermöglichen Privatsphäre. Mit dem Auto lässt sich von hier aus die Umgebung und der Schwarzwald schön erkunden.

Sehr nette Gastgeberin und eine super schöne und saubere Wohnung. Ich kann diese nur weiterempfehlen und werde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

The apartment was fantastic. Contrary to many other places I have been, it was heated from the start, so the arrival late in a cold night was very comfortable. The place is really good. I could work in a very spacious working space. The kitchen had everything. René was kind enough to allow me to use basic stuff, like oil and sugar, so I could cook without needing to buy everything. I had a couple of questions for René who replied to me straightaway in very precise and polite maners. The main space was looking the Rhine and it was fantastic to have breakfast or dinner there. The location is wonderful, with views over the Rhine and the other side of the river, with boats passing by, and enjoying Basel at its heart. I am very grateful to René and I am looking forward my next trip to Basel to ask him again to stay there.

Besides the minor hiccup I had trying to unlock the lockbox for the key. Nicole’s place was a dream come true! Amazing views with lots of greenery and a small town which was exactly what I needed. I can’t say enough about Nicole’s personality and gracefulness. She was kind, helpful and went above and beyond to help me especially a nice basket of breakfast goodies when I didn’t have anything to eat since market was closed. Nicole took time out to converse with me and accommodated me with all my needs. I would definitely stay there again at Nicole’s sanctuary.

Amazing place to stay, very clean and beautiful, felt spacious and looks like photos. Easy to find as the bus station right behind the house. So quite and also feels peaceful. Beatrice has been a great host and made everything smooth. Absolutely recommend it 🫶🏼
