We've just come back from a few days at Tom's as a very last-minute half term break. The house feels like a home more than many cottages. It's a simple space with an open plan living/diner upstairs and two bedrooms and bathrooms below them. The entrance to the house is up a set of stairs. It has everything you need- dishwasher/washer/dryer though a bit tricky noisewise because of the open plan. Only logs for the logburner were missing. The house was quiet and undeniably has beautiful views and of course the original timber frame structure is a gem. Straight from the house you can walk up Caer Caradoc. There's a route from the property itself and we were at the top in under an hour. It's a short drive to Carding Mill Valley for some longer walks. Shewsbury is about 20-30 mins depending on traffic and we were really impressed with the museum there. Nearest town is Church Stretton where you can bankrupt yourself buying outdoor gear all the while convincing yourself that you need it.

We had a wonderful 5 day stay over October half-term for a family get-together. There were 11 of us altogether from grandparents down to grandchildren. The Hall is impressive and the views across the countryside are beautiful. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed exploring the grounds, watching the alpacas and visiting Elan Valley. The kitchen is well equipped for catering for large groups and there was no problem organising supermarket food deliveries. All the rooms are nicely furnished and everything was spotlessly clean. All three bathrooms have baths, two also have good showers. The house is huge but the radiators keep the rooms warm and with the woodburners going in the evening in the entrance hall and the large lounge we were all toasty warm. Wood and kindling is thoughtfully provided. The games room was a hit with the children, especially the pool table. Clare met us on arrival and showed us around the house and answered any queries we had during the week.

We had a great family weekend in this lovely farmhouse. The kitchen was very well equipped, the lounge was very cosy but plenty big enough for us all and the bedrooms very comfy. We had fun playing tennis and pool and the grandchildren all loved the goats and alpacas (as did the adults!). We would love to return sometime. Thank you Kathryn.

Loved our stay just outside of Ledbury. The place is beautifully decorated and really nice for two of us (a couple) to stay for the weekend. The kitchen had everything we needed to get started (milk and butter appreciated). The tub with bath salts is a nice bonus. We were a bit disappointed because we searched for places with an ‘indoor fireplace’ and the picture of their fireplace looks so real it looks like a real log burner! So we were disappointed it was electric. Other than that the place was lovely.

This was the most perfect Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. Such a wow factor and I’d say that some of the interior photos just can’t capture how beautiful it really is. Already planning when we can squeeze visit number 2 in. So so happy we chose Ebony Cottage. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had a lovely stay at Danny’s place! Really nicely decorated and refurbished to a high standard. Plenty of space for 5 adults to stay and the sliding doors out of the kitchen into the garden made having a coffee in the sun really lovely!

Great stay for 3 nights. House comfortable and easily accessible to everything Ludlow had to offer. Parking is the only downside but if you are happy for a short walk reasonable daily parking is only 5 or so minutes away.

a fantastic place , really is worth booking ! we were blessed with the sun shine so we were able to sit in the garden use the BBQ and hot tub, beautiful scenery in a beautiful setting we will definitely be booking again, Pam was so helpful gave clear direction on getting there and getting in the property. Daniel you have a beautiful place thank you for allowing us to enjoy this beautiful home. totally worth the money too

Helen was an exemplary host, very friendly and responsive. Our accommodation was truly five star, elegantly yet comfortably decorated and immaculately clean. It was spacious and the kitchen and bathroom were stocked with a wonderful supply of products for our use. A huge shout out to the Edwardian architect who designed the kitchen/diner window to showcase the view of the cathedral - outstanding! If you are planning a trip to the Hereford area I couldn’t recommend an accommodation more highly.

Lovely place to stay. Easy access to Malvern Hills and close to the station. Angie provided lots of helpful information and it was all clean and comfortable with plenty of space.

We would highly recommend Jim's place, it's warm with cozy comfy beds and had everything we wanted. It offers a quiet relaxing staycation with beautiful grounds and stunning scenery. Should you want to get out and explore, the public footpath walks are quite envigorating. We enjoyed a wonderful walk up the Bromyard downs.Jim's place is dog friendly as are some of the pub's and cafes in town. There are plenty of local places to get out to with your furry friend. We visited the Weir Gardens and Hereford city. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for everything Jim

We had a very memorable relaxing stay in this lovely warm and well kitted out barn. the venue was stunning and the location excellent. The place was kitted out weigh very tasteful and good quality furnishings and bedding and we all thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

Just perfect. Gwen and John were so helpful and the flat was absolutely beautiful with such an amazing view. So peaceful, relaxing and we even saw one of the alpacas. We loved our stay and would most definitely return and recommend. Thank you so much for such a warm welcome.

Beautiful, peaceful stay at this gorgeous home away from home! Perfect location for walking up the stunning Malvern hills, a few minutes walk into town, great amenities! Super cosy and lovely vibe. Very grateful for Loz and such a lovely stay!

Me and my family enjoyed our 2 day stay. Jane is a wonderful host and very helpful on our 2 day stay. I will definitely be staying here again in the near future. The apartment was very clean and tidy and very homely.

Such a lovely stay at Lakeside Lodge, the surroundings were beautiful and our host Andrew went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. Stunning lake one side of the lodge and stunning views of the hilly countryside the other (both visible from the view in the hot tub) really could not have asked for anything more for a chilled girls trip. Could have stayed there forever!

There are hosts, there are super hosts and then there's Katie!! Everything was simply perfect, there were 10 family all together for a family Christening. Due to Katie's flexibility were could all check in when we arrived. Most handy when people are travelling from all over the country. Also, on the Sunday, the day of the Christening and our check out day, Katie helped us with late check out, allowing all the logistics of people and cars the time needed to get where we all needed without a ridiculously early start, which would have been dreadful after the party the day before! We all enjoyed the hot tub, the huge spaces, comfortable beds, luxurious bathrooms and well equipt kitched. Thank you Katie - you are a love.

It is in a lovely location, great views of the Malvern Hills, lots of good walks close by. Many good eating places not too far away. The Cow Shed is well equipped, with an excellent bathroom and shower, comfortable living area. The kitchen is a bit smaller than we would have liked, but it all worked really well. Nigel was very attentive, making sure we were comfortable. Our elderly spaniel enjoyed the space around and got on well with the two really friendly terrier residents! Will definitely revisit.
