The accommodation, location and facilities were perfect for a special birthday weekend for a party of 13... The house easily accommodated everyone, with plenty of space to relax. The kitchen was a superb focal point for a weekend of celebration and having access to multiple fridges was ideal. Outside, the natural pool was fabulous, as was the sauna, patio area and garden.. There are lovely walks from the house and a great local pub within reach. Very helpful neighbours on hand, if needed. Tim was an excellent host and this is a perfect setting for a special occasion.

Wonderful stay in a house which felt just like home . Huge kitchen and table to sit around talking , playing games and having fun . We loved it here and will defo be back in the future .

This was the second time I’ve stayed in one of Peter and Doreen’s properties. They are always such wonderful hosts and are very accommodating. We visited Pentrenant Hall as a group of 19; 5 families with children ranging from 2 years old to 5 years old. The venue was perfect for us; the kids loved the bunk rooms and the huge dining room. The grounds are well cared for and provided an exciting and safe place for our children to explore. They particularly enjoyed toasting marshmallows by the fire pit outside! The adults managed to take advantage of the hot tub a couple of times too which was a lovely treat! And a few competitive games of table football in the games room. Overall a fantastic stay - we are already making plans to return next year!

Spacious and comfortable house for our family of 6 during a rainy February half term. The main reason to rent this place was the pool and sauna which didn’t disappoint and was great for our kids. There is a builder’s merchant right next door to the house which isn’t obvious from the photos but was not a particular problem with respect to noise etc. Lots of great walks nearby - which we will have to rediscover in the future in better weather! Thanks to Phoebe and the owners for making us feel welcome and for being available and responsive to our questions.

Picked the Lodge for a Bank Holiday break with friends and it didn’t disappoint. We were warmly welcomed by Mel who gave us some great local recommendations. House was clean and had all the required amenities. Having the pool for the morning was great fun. Would recommend Small breeds centre if you have young children and Hay on Wye for a wander round

We had a 3 night stay at the paddock lodge, on arrival we were greeted by Sara & were instantly made to feel welcome. The accommodation was amazing cosy & just what we were looking for everything was clean & perfect for us looking to be self catering. Beautiful surroundings to walk & sit on the patio watching the horse & chickens. I would definitely like to go back & stay again & highly recommend this accommodation thank you Sara & Phil.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it was very peaceful and the surroundings beautiful. The lodge was nice, light and spacious. Only thing to be mindful of is that you do need to take your own bath towels and kitchen towels.

Lovely hidden family staycation! Lovely location with loads of parking Easy check-in 13 mins drive to Breacon! Brilliant hot tub with amazing views (Only comment would be Chlorine content was a tad high for anyone with sensitive skin) Kitchen and bathroom were clean and cosy! Kitchen is fully equipped with amenities (Sauce pots and trays were available but no frying pans which is no big deal) Lovely welsh biscuits on arrival! Definitely recommend for a lovely retreat!

You’ll receive a very warm welcome from the hosts and the accommodation is fantastic. It’s like being at home but a mention of the beds being so comfortable and a well equipped kitchen, everything has been thought of. The property is located a short walk from Worcester and is so peaceful. Would I go back ….yes. Thank you for the milk and chocolates 😁.

We had a great stay at Tereza's house. It was warm, well-equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Plenty of space for a reunion of 6 friends. Great to be able to easily fit 3 cars on the drive too. And we appreciated the biscuits, milk etc on arrival. Tereza's communication was always prompt and instructions for accessing the house were clear and easy to follow. Many thanks for a great and easy stay.

We had a lovely weekend stay. A beautiful, quiet location and the mill was immaculate and clean. Debb was very helpful on recommendations on where to visit and good eateries. We would happily stay again and recommend

My daughter, my 3 year old grandson and I stayed here for 3 nights. The area is very special to me and this lovely accommodation made our stay even more special. It was perfect. We met Suzanne as we arrived and found her to be friendly, chatty and helpful. The Lodge is beautiful. It is warm and cosy and so well thought out. Everything that we needed was there. There is a lovely garden with stunning views. The area is lovely, so quiet and peaceful with so much to see. We really did not want to leave.

Beautiful barn and absolutely perfect for our group of 12, we had a great time facilities are superb and the games room was ideal for the younger members of our family, and the older ones after a couple of drinks. Thank you for the excellent communication, superb location and quality coffee tea and biscuits. Definitely recommended

Such a great place - as a previous review said: if you are considering it definitely do it! like staying in your own mini hotel - so interesting and quirky - great for a mixed group Rugby Six Nations in the snug complete with real fire close to the bar for some, pool tournament for some and champagne in the hot tub for others😊 Such a fab way to spend a big birthday Saturday. Kitchen was fabulous and, with it previously being a professional kitchen, everything was so accessible and easy to find. Breakfast hamper most welcome. In house dining by Viki was a real treat for our Saturday night. The beds were SO comfy...and so many fluffy towels everywhere! lovely setting - and the walk up Grinshill, as recommended by the hosts, was a must for those that do.. All in all the whole place and experience far exceeded my expectations for my extended family 60th birthday celebrations.. The pictures do not do justice to the size of the place.. Looking forward to our next visit

We had a very relaxing time at Carey's house. It had everything we needed and we felt extremely comfortable. The area was very peaceful and allowed us to have some quality down time at the end of the day. Many thanks for a wonderful few days.

Beautiful place to stay, quiet area. One issue, the two double beds are a little too close to the floor, those with mobility issues will have problems getting off them, but other then that no issues at all.

I booked this for a family NYE holiday. We were all very excited because the photos looked amazing, and we all agreed it exceeded our expectations. The house was great fun to explore, very warm and cosy. We cooked large meals every day and the kitchen had everything we needed. Very helpful having so many plates, glasses, mugs etc. The hot tub and sauna were a real highlight, and it was great being able to access them without going outside, whilst being able to have the windows open and enjoy the spectacular views. Debbie and Jenny were incredibly kind and welcoming. Can't fault our stay, it was perfect.

Wow! What an interesting place! I’ve stayed in 100s of Airbnbs in the years and this ranks as one of the top. You’re staying in real history , which you see and feel all around. The grounds are liked a storybook filled with sheep. The town near by Upton upon Severn is quaint and has a great breakfast place ( cafe no 8). Highly recommend staying here if you want to stay in an authentic English manor home.
