Perfect place for Blackwater Refuge combined with being close to town. Super comfortable and can see the peaceful marina from the master bedroom.

This was a wonderful getaway for my family and friends. We had two toddlers that loved the river beach and pool. There were plenty of toys to keep the kids and adults busy!

We stayed for a week over Thanksgiving 2024. Keith and his wife were there to meet us when we arrived and gave us a tour of the house. Very nice people. It's an older house, but it's in good shape. We felt at home once we unpacked. The beds are VERY comfortable--we slept great. Good internet connection. No troubles with any fixtures or equipment. One bathroom is quite small, but we made it work. Convenient to restaurants and shopping--there's a Texas Roadhouse, a Chinese restaurant and a Walmart across the street, a grocery store one stoplight away. Also convenient for us because family lives in Fruitland within a 5 minute drive. The house is on a main road, but we never had trouble making left turns out of the driveway. Turn right and you're a few minutes from the bypass, turn left and you're a block from the main business route through Fruitland and Salisbury. It was a good place to stay.

What a lovely, peaceful place! My daughter & I so enjoyed this beautifully appointed cottage. The water, snacks, toiletries were appreciated! The property was quiet; a good location to get to many nearby areas to explore. The only thing we missed was seeing any farm animals & the dog! Marsha was very prompt in responding to questions. We are frequent AirBnB travelers, & this was one of our best experiences. Highly recommend!

We had a great time staying at Betty's wonderful waterfront house. Our family of five plus some friends (another family of five) had plenty of space for everyone in this charming, well-kept home. Beautiful hardwood floors and comfy beds. It had one of the best stocked kitchens we've ever had—ample silverware, cookware, small appliances, TONS of spices and such— which is always important since we always cook lots of meals at home. Though our weather was pretty rainy, the six kids all loved being able to walk along the river and search for rocks and sea glass and everything else. The big backyard was great for football and playing catch. Everyone loved the inside of the home and the selection of games. Just a 15 or 20-min walk to downtown Cambridge for us. This is definitely an "instant bookmark" house for our family and we look forward to coming back at some point with other family or friends—especially in the summertime when we can spend more time outside.

This is a lovely home would definitely recommend only thing that was a little bit odd was the size of the bed upstairs and it wasn’t many pots and pans but we love our stay

We had such a wonderful time! Michael was an amazing host and provided great recommendations for what to do in the area. We ended up spending most of the time at the areas that he recommended looking for shark's teeth. We had so much fun as a family together and enjoyed the fresh air and being surrounded by nature. The house was perfect for us and had everything we needed. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to stay again! We had such a great time, we didn't want to leave!

Loved staying here. The back yard is beautiful with a fire pit that is closed off and private. The livng room is super cozy and the tub in the bathroom is phenomenal! Also Heather had a helpful guide to getting to know the area and the kitchen fully stocked if interested in cooking a home cooked meal. Would definitely come back!
