This was the perfect place while in town for a weekend of curling. Comfortable, cozy and welcoming, great distance from both Hibbing and Chisholm. We loved the personal touches, the history of the location/house, and the thoughtful welcome basket with snacks (which was a huge blessing after a long day of curling with hungry kids!). We would absolutely stay again!

There were five adults and two children and there was plenty of room for everyone. We will come back.

We had a great week-long winter outing. The unit is right across from the ski resort, but quiet and peaceful with views overlooking the frozen lake. We were able to take long (snowshoe) walks with our dog on the Mesabi trail, plus the apartment was well equipped with everything we needed to make meals.

This place is everything you could want in an Airbnb—clean, cozy, and perfect for relaxing between adventures. The neighborhood is peaceful, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring. The home is well-stocked with everything needed to cook a couple of meals, and the master bath shower is amazing—a perfect way to refresh after a long day. It's also a short drive to Ely, which made it super convenient since most of our trip was planned around that area. We've stayed here a few times now, and the hosts are always incredibly organized and thoughtful. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable, well-maintained, and welcoming home base. The apartment was absolutely wonderful. My wife and I loved the craftsman styling. The directions and check in instruction were perfect. The stay was within walking distance of several shops and restaurants so we didn't need to worry about parking! Highly recommend if someone is looking for a place in Ely with lots of character and easy access to downtown.

We had a wondeful time at Shawn's "tiny home" cabin. so clean, exactly as described and great surroundings. My 5 year old son LOVED the space and we had a great time skiing, tubing, having pizza, snowshoeing and just hanging out the three of us.
