⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wonderful Stay at The Birch House! We had another fantastic stay at The Birch House by Nichole & Steffan! This place is everything you could want in an Airbnb—clean, cozy, and perfect for relaxing between adventures. The neighborhood is peaceful, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring. The home is well-stocked with everything needed to cook a couple of meals, and the master bath shower is amazing—a perfect way to refresh after a long day. It's also a short drive to Ely, which made it super convenient since most of our trip was planned around that area. We've stayed here a few times now, and the hosts are always incredibly organized and thoughtful. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable, well-maintained, and welcoming home base. Beautiful home with a beautiful view. We had a great time fishing, eating at various places and traveling the North Shore.

We stayed at this property to ride the ATV trail system. You could not ask for a better location to the system. Easy to get to the trails, and access to two great loops to ride.

Perfect location for the SAX ZIM Bog. Close to the north west end, and also a quick trip to Hibbing if you need any supplies. Alan was a great host, very responsive. We stayed 2 nights, 3 days. Would stay again.

Super beautiful home and seemed to be brand new. Great location by giants ride. Had all accommodations needed (a meal we were cooking needed a Dutch oven so we brought one ourselves and sure enough they even had one there). Only thing to note is that noise travels well throughout the home so if some people want to go to bed early you almost have to send the rest of people to the garage to not be able to hear convos. Such a small thing though and overall 10/10 place.

Great stay! Giants Ridge was an easy 12 minutes away!

We came to Ely to go dog sledding. After our trips, we had an amazing dinners at Insula and a beautiful place to come home to. Lovely bedrooms, beds, bathroom! Kitchen and living space were just fantastic. This will be my place from now on.

We had a wonderful stay in Ely, thanks to Debbie! The place is centrally located, but still quiet and off the main road. Check-in was easy and it was great to come back, make dinner, & relax after a day of dog sledding.

Donny was very accommodating from start to finish. Very responsive and answered any and all questions we had. The place was perfect, super clean and nice and warm! Would definitely stay again. Thanks so much!

How fun! This basement apartment was spacious with several sleeping quarters, full kitchen, and full bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the space gets very dark for good sleeping, and we enjoyed the common space living room/kitchen. The decor was really creative. It is a basement and we stayed on the 4th of July, so we did not experience the quiet hours, but the whole fun little town was alive and having fun that night, so no concerns. If quiet is a must, basement apartments are not the way to go and we know and are ok with that, but if you’re not, this is something to avoid. The kitchen is stocked, but only for a couple people, so bringing paper products is helpful. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

The apartment is very nice and clean. Just as pictured. We appreciate the blackouts on the windows. The mattresses are comfortable and the shower pressure is good. The off street parking spot is narrow, but worked for our sedan. Overall very good, we’d definitely recommend.

The apartment was cozy and met our weekend needs. It was super easy to walk to all the local restaurants and the theater.🎭 We cooked a few meals while staying, and having all the pot/pans needed was great. We didn’t burn anything, yet the smoke/heat detector worked great. 🤭😉 I would highly recommend staying here to others.

The place was lovely! You can see the lake out of the back door. Couldn’t be closer to the beach. The front bedroom was also lovely. Thanks for hosting us!

Great place! We enjoyed our stay. Loved being close to all amenities of Giants Ridge. Very spacious room and nice to have multiple bathrooms! Eldon communicated all details ahead of our stay and shared all information we needed and more!

The place was perfect. It had everything we needed and then some. Also, it is incredibly close to one of the alpine ski lofts for Giants Ridge (literally right across the street). We will definitely stay again!

Nice place, Michael was great in his communication and everything else is what you would expect (clean, well furnished, ect). Only thing that was odd is that there is no real stove/ oven....just a single hot plate on the counter which was a tad finicky to use, but not a deal breaker and we figured it all out. Would happily stay here again.
