We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The home has large widows overlooking the water and the view is breathtaking. There are several large common areas and this allowed the ten of us to spread out. The kids made great use of the indoor pool. Everything in the house worked perfectly except for the clothes dryer, but this was a very minor annoyance. The area is quaint and picturesque with easy access to the central area of Bergen. I highly recommend this beautiful home. Imelda is a wonderful host. Allan

Nous avons bien aimé notre séjour chez Camilla. On a été agréablement surpris des petits cadeaux de bienvenue à notre arrivée et d'un espace supplémentaire en mezzanine qui n était pas mentionné dans l annonce et qui a permis à chacun de nos 3 enfants d avoir leur chambre personnelle . La maison est bien située (pas trop loin du centre-ville en transport en commun et à proximité du parc du château, de supermarchés et de balades conseillés par Camilla ). Maison spacieuse et rénovée un peu à la va vite mais agréable.. Merci Camilla

We had a really relaxing stay at the cabin with the nicest view :) Marius was very precise and detailed in his descriptions and always open for any questions - in total great communication. An amazing opportunity if you are around Bergen to spend a rainy fall weekend where you just want to read your book while looking out the window seeing a wavy sea and colorful trees around but probably even nicer in the summer when you can dip more often into the water and spend most of the time at the balcony. Thank you so much!!

We spent fantastic days at Kjetils house, it was just like we hoped it to be according to the pictures, very cozy house (even bigger living/kitchen area than we expected) in a stunning landscape. Of course spending the long dark nights in the outdoor pool was not only for our children an absolut highlight! (And eben seeing the northern lights one day!) Kjetil always answered immediately any question, just had some minor issues when we arrived in the dark. We would definitely like to come back one day!

Wonderful property in an amazing location with a magnificent view of the Fjords! The surroundings are superbly scenic and peaceful, at the same time there are enough activities to keep the kids busy (our group had 2 boys - 5 and 7 years old respectively. Karina and Erlend are wonderful hosts, responsive and considerate, and have taken really good care of keeping the house in immaculate condition. Connectivity to Bergen and onwards cruises for the Fjords is not too far, and in fact one can really do some good day trips from the property itself. Highly, highly recommended and a big thanks once again to Karina and Erlend!!

Zeer ruime en fijne familiewoning. De woning is gelegen net buiten Bergen in een rustige woonbuurt. We hebben echt genoten van de rust, de ruime leefruimte en keuken, de inrichting, de planten en het fantastische uitzicht op de regio. Het is duidelijk dat dit huis met zorg is ingericht voor het gezin van Lovise en dat maakt deze woning heel uniek en heel huiselijk. De kat die nieuwsgierig enkele keren per dag langs kwam, maakte de ervaring helemaal af.

Logement très agréable dans un quartier calme et bien situé. Nous avons été bien accueilli dans la maison de Thomas et nous recommandons donc ce logement.

Maks stjerner for utsikten, kjøkkenet og antall rom! God plass for alle oss 7! Gode madrasser i alle senger, bortsett fra den ene køysenga. Dyner og puter var kjempegode! Deilig med varme i gulvet og samtidig mulighet for å fyre når det var kuldegrader. Baderom nede manglet speil og hyller, og wc nede ikke helt ferdig. Vi hadde et kjekt opphold og vil gjerne komme igjen!!

We had a great time at this lovely modern home. Views are fantastic! We were a large family. Clean, peaceful and quiet. It was well equipped and functional. Great dinner parties were had. Easy to get to Bergen City center with public transport. Lovely forest nearby for hiking and playing. Very responsive host. Hope to stay here again! Thank you!

Our family gathered in Bergen for vacation. The house is of excellent size, well stocked and in a quiet neighborhood. Overall, a great house for family time.

Tage is a thoughtful, responsive, generous host, and his home is beautiful. It is well equipped, spotlessly clean, modern and very comfortable. Our family of five had plenty of room to spread out and relax. The view of the fjord and the mountains is spectacular, and is what really made the holiday for us. We got out and saw lots of Bergen’s places of interest, and we always enjoyed and looked forward to coming back to that view and to being so close to the water. We loved using the canoe and the paddle board, and visited the local swimming spots which were beautiful. The local shops were very close by (we used the CoOp Extra, Kiwi and Meny) and they were all easy and very good. Thank you so much to Tage and family.

If you're searching for peace, nature and authenticity, this is the house you want to rent. We stayed here for 10 days. A 30-minute drive gets you to the city center of Bergen if you want some (moderate) action or to the start of numerous trails leading to unreal places (Mørkevatn, Folldalshaugane, Rundemanen...). The house is comfy, clean and well equiped with a wonderful view on the fjord. You can even go swimming in the fjord from the pier, a 2-minute walk from the house!

Wir waren zu zweit für etwa 1 Woche in dem liebevoll sanierten Skolehus von Mette und Jan. Wie auch die anderen Urlauber finden wir die Lage direkt am Sund mit dem faszinierenden Ausblick einzigartig! Besonderer Dank auch an Mette für die Tipps die Umgebung zu erkunden und die Freundlichkeit. Das Haus ist äußerst sauber und wirklich schön eingerichtet. Auch die Aussenanlagen (2 Holzterrassen: eine direkt am Haus und zusätzlich eine unten unmittelbar am Wasser) sind sehr schön. Wir behalten das Skolehus in unserem Herzen!

Das Haus von Dag ist sehr schön und geschmackvoll und praktisch eingerichtet. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Dag war stets erreichbar und sofort behilflich, für uns aufgetretene Fragen/Probleme zu klären. Die Lage des Hauses ist gut, da Bahn und Supermarkt gleich um die Ecke sind. Bis ins Zentrum brauchte man 20 Minuten, bis zum Grieg-Haus und der Stabkirche war es auch nicht weit. Wir können das Haus und Dag nur weiterempfehlen.

Vi (familie med tre ungdommer) likte oss veldig godt i det lyse og trivelige rekkehuset. Alt var rent og ryddig og verten hadde ryddet plass til våre ting i entreen, på kjøkkenet, badet og på soverommene. Det satt vi stor pris på! Vi var heldige med været og kunne nyte morgensolen foran huset og ettermiddags-/kveldssolen på altanen eller i hagen. På alle disse stedene var det koselige sitteplasser. Bybanen er bare en kort spasertur unna og gjør det lett å reise rundt. Verten var oppmerksom og vennlig og hadde laget en skriftlig oversikt over de vanligste FAQ. Det gjorde at vi fort og enkelt fant svar på ting vi lurte på :-) Vi kommer gjerne tilbake en annen gang!

The house is very nice and cozy. It has a huge window with views to Paradise. It makes you want to sit on the couch for hours, admiring the views until nightfall. Access is very easy and it has a comfortable place to park. It is surrounded by beautiful forests where you can walk for hours. I found two negative points, but not too important for me: The first is that the lighting upstairs is very nice but a bit poor. The second is that there were dog hairs on the couch. I rented the space knowing it was one's home, so I can't complain. But I would like to highlight that clothes are a magnet for hair, and if you are allergic, be careful. Lastly, I want to thank Karina. She was a kind and an attentive host. She wasn't in the house during my stay, but she met me for check-in. Everyone I've met in the area has greeted me with a smile and been friendly and close. They made me feel like I had grown up in the village. I would really travel to Norway again just to stay here and enjoy the area.

Spacious house for family. Driving distance to Bergen center. Loves the way house is maintained with a lot of interior plants and garden plants.

Casa molto bella e grande. Ideale per famiglie con bambini. Posizione a soli 15/20 min dal centro di Bergen. Presenza di supermercati vicino a casa. Thomas molto cordiale e disponibile. Ci siamo sentiti a casa!
